Last minute reservations when everyone else seemed to be booked solid had us a little worried the food would be subpar. Not only do they have a bone-in filet on the menu but they also have a delicious green beans! Our server was also our bartender but that did not stop her from providing personable service with good timing. We enjoyed the bar atmosphere where our table was located but they also have a quieter dining area that would be nice if you want a more romantic setting. The food was so good, I never got a chance to get pictures.

After dinner next door, we decided to stop by RED for dessert. When we arrived at 8:30 PM, the host seemed visibly irritated by our party of eight, maybe because they close at 9:00 PM. Normally, I wouldn't push this, but since it was my sister's birthday and the restaurant was literally next door, I explained to her that we were only there for dessert. The host initially told us there was no table available, but I told her that we were fine being split up. She escorted us to a table in the back and seated the rest of our party two booths away. Our server took our order - donuts, crème brûlée, and ice cream, and based on the timestamps from the pictures I took everything arrived at 8:42 PM. However after the desserts were delivered, we didn't see our server again until 9:00 PM. Even then we had to ask for the check which was annoying. The restaurant wasn't overwhelmingly busy so it felt strange to be left unattended for almost 20 minutes. Given my past positive experiences at RED I was quite surprised by the lack of service this time. Based on this visit, I'm not sure I'll be returning to this location.

I anchored myself at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and brought me a drink quickly. I ordered the 16oz ribeye rare and a side of tater tots. They brought out bread and olive oil to dip with Romano cheese. Shortly after that, they brought out my steak at the perfect temperature and the tater tots. The tater tots weren't your mom's microwaved tots by a million miles! I would totally recommend this place to any of my family and friends!

Amazing spot! We stopped in to see if they had any open seating for a last minute dinner and they were able to accommodate us at the bar. The drink menu was spectacular and the food menu was delightful. We started with an appetizer and then shared a steak. Everything was very flavorful and the food came out piping hot.

Had a great meal here. We made a reservation ahead of time and were seated right away when we arrived. We enjoyed the complimentary bread with delicious house made herb infused dipping oil. Their steaks were cooked well, and the diver scallops tasted fresh. We were there for our special occasion and the staff provided us complimentary dessert, which were the delicious donut holes with 3 different dippings sauce. The ambience upscale, dressy, though not pretentious Parking might be a little challenging and was when we went since there was a sports game going on, so there was no chance of finding parking on the street. There are a couple of paid parking lots nearby within only a few minutes walk

It's nice classy restaurant on the heart of downtown. I went on a Monday night. There were plenty of open tables, no reservation is required. I ordered Atlantic Salmon. It was good quality, the presentation was nice too.

You can't spell Megan, without "Mega" personality! We sat at the bar, and she was great! So wonderful and pleasant to chat with, plus the absolute best service. We split the 18oz bone-in strip and green beans, it couldn't have been more delicious. Cooked perfectly. And on top of it, she comp'd us a couple counts bc she heard us talking about them, before we even asked! Love this place! ALWAYS a treat! 5 stars!

I decided on this place over many others and the positives first, nice wine selection, broccoli side had a nice charred flavor, steak was a NY Strip when I ordered a ribeye and the garlic was over roasted and dry. They didn't do anything to even try to make it right. It was very disappointing and I didn't even get an itemized bill, visit from the manager or owner and Jonah the server told me it was a ribeye without consulting with management in the kitchen. Shame on you.

Had a wonderful experience here Saturday early evening after a guardians vs Yankees game. My husbands filet was perfection- he also ordered mushrooms and the truffle potatoes which I tried and were so good. The seafood pescatore pictured was good! A full lobster tail which was amazing but was lacking other seafood in my opinion - however no complaints, delicious dish. For $80 MP I would say I'd probably order something different next time but it was good. The curator of the wine list was wonderful and recommended us a bottle (pictured) that we loved...I am so glad I have a pic so I can find it again. Thanks for having us!

#1 thing I need to share, the service here is TOP NOTCH. They are so welcoming when you enter and not pretentious like some other steakhouses can be. Our waiter was so nice, checking up on us often and making good recommendations without feeling like they were trying to upsell me. Food was delicious as well. We came here for a date night and ordered a few dishes, including oysters, shrimp cocktail, brussels sprouts, risotto, steak, mac n cheese, and mashed potatoes. We definitely over-ordered but they were nice and let us take things home as well, packing them very carefully for us. It seems like tons of people were there celebrating different things and had a fun vibe to it. It's also a good location, in the center of downtown cleveland and near sports venues and other fun bars and restaurants. It's a little pricey but worth it for a special occasion. They also occasionally have specials on gift cards, which can help with the cost. We've gone both to this location and the Pinecrest location and prefer this one!

Great food and last minute accommodated reservations for 15. Super expensive but worth the price.

This meal was so delicious! My ribeye was cooked to perfection, I loved the Demi glacé on the side, and our sides were great. The restaurant wasn't too loud and comfortably crowded and we had no service issues. The olive oil for dipping bread was sooo good - I'll be trying that at home.

To put a 5 for a rating is a understatement. Our waiter Chris took this to a whole new level and glad we celebrated New Years Eve with him. Our group of six loved his knowledge of all the food on the menu and made great recommendations along the way. While most of us had the Filet Mignon, which were grilled to perfection. The Ceaser Salad and the vegetables were awesome too. Might I add, my favorite Napa Winery; Nickel and Nickel was on the wine list and thats something to see and taste.

Went to the rooftop bar for a drink before a concert. It wasnt very crowded, but still took more than 30 minutes to get a drink.

    What is the dress attire?

The wait for the food order (which was delicious) was reasonable given there was a private event happening, although it did seem the bartender was stretched a little thin, taking care of the 6-7 people at the bar, making drinks for another area, and putting glasses away from a previous shift. I had the meatballs and an Italian chopped salad, both very good. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Since the Metropolitan is home to an apartment complex, an upscale hotel, a rooftop bar, a dog park, a Pilates studio, a theater, a basement vault bar, and a "high-end" eatery, there's a whole lot of people constantly coming and going. Sitting at the four (five?) two-person tables situated right at the balcony railing means you can easily lean over and watch people come and go while sipping your drinks. Unlike the rest of the bars in the hotel, I was told there was no drink menu at the Ledger, and the bartender (who waited my table!) simply asked what flavor profile I was desiring tonight. The resulting drink he made was honestly good, and I really enjoyed it. Zero idea what was in it to ever order it again (and he was really overworked to ask!), but it was a neat experience of a "craft your own experience". There were a few beers on tap. I'm unsure about wine. Centro's food menu (restaurant downstairs) appears to be available here. There's a single unisex bathroom within steps of the bar, and the regular hotel lobby bathrooms are down a floor. As conference rooms are nearby this bar, I'd also probably guess there's a large conference room bathroom block too, but I didn't find that one. The rest of the bars and restaurants in the Metropolitan tend to take most of the attention here, and the Ledger has a much more laid-back, chill vibe. A lot of people were watching a sports game (baseball, I think?) on the TV behind me. With the smaller space and wide "open" area of the full lobby, the Ledger feels like your calmest, quietest bar option out of the available places at the Metropolitan.

Food is standard bar food at reasonable prices. This is the place to go if you want to feed your inner child chicken tenders and waffle fries. Top notch tendies. Southwest rolls are also good. Lots of people stop in before or after shows at Playhouse Square (sometimes even the dancers from the Broadway series). Often it's quiet, sometimes it's packed. Moe's has Last Call Trivia on Wednesday nights at 7 with a small but mighty regular following. It's a good place to play as there aren't typically any other loud, non-playing groups to listen over.
