Filet Mignon Tenderloin, Mashed Potatoes, and Green Beans.

I attended a presentation hosted by CVENT at The Morton's Steakhouse. The hostess greeted me promptly and escorted me to the private dining room. The staff were pleasant and efficient, quickly taking my order from the menu options once I took my seat. The caesar salad and dinner rolls were tasty. The entrees arrived shortly after. The steak was tender, seasoned well, and moist. I didn't need anything to add to it as it had lots of flavor and was juicy. The green beans and mashed potatoes were fair. Nothing really exceptional, but still tasty. The star of the afternoon was the Espresso Pot De Crème, a lovely chocolate mousse served in a cup made from vibrantly colored chocolate. It was tasty and the perfect finish for the lunch. Great food and excellent customer service for a private event.

Morton's The Steakhouse in downtown Houston Texas is a great place to go when celebrating a special occasion. Husband and I went to Morton's on a Friday to celebrate his Birthday. We were greeted with a smile. We were treated like royalty as the hostess put celebration sparked on our table. We started with some Wagyu Beef Dumplings, which were extra tasty. We then each ordered the 2-COURSE PRIME LUNCH for $32.00 each. You pick a choice of soup or salad and pick an entree, fyi it includes a side. We also added on Onion Rings, which were just ok. The big surprise was a complimentary dessert of chocolate molten cake for husband's Birthday. They also took a complimentary picture of us and printed it out for us to take home and remember the special occasion. Every thing here is great and people that work here really made us feel special as several employees stopped to check on us and wish my husband a special birthday. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.

Beautiful place to celebrate a birthday! The service was very attentive and they find a way to make your experience unique! The food was *chefs kiss*, I definitely recommend the lobster Mac and cheese. They do offer valet parking, which in downtown Houston is a must but you can also self park in the parking garage right above.

Stopped into Morton's on a Saturday night that was very busy in downtown Houston. I walked right in, got a dot at the bar and had a glass of Pinot noir with truffle Parmesan fries and a Cesar salad. So glad I went in!

Excellent dinner last Sunday night. Classic Morton's ambience, open kitchen, and numerous booths. Food was good. Of course their bread service is always phenomenal, the onion egg loaf is scrumptious! I did the three course steak and seafood off the menu special for LSC members. I started with the Caesar salad, then the 6oz. filet Mignon enhanced with the cognac au poivre sauce and a lobster tail. For my side I had the loaded baked potato. I finished with the espresso pot de crème. Excellent selection of wines by the glass. Service was superior.

Came for my cousins 40th birthday. Ambiance was great, quiet and not packed at all. The food was okay, I would've preferred for the temperature of both my ravioli and bisque to be warmer. The other guest at my table were not that impressed with some of their sides. However our drinks were made very well, I personally had the seasonal sangria and I enjoyed it. Our server was a little lack luster, his attention to detail like water refills or just checking our food or if we had questions was not the best especially seeing that the establishment was not busy. Overall a good experience

Nestled in the heart of downtown, I've swung by Morton's for a few work lunches and always enjoyed what they had on offer. One tip: if you're not into waiting, reservations are your friend. But this time, I popped in for a quick bite during their "Power Hour" (a.k.a. happy hour) -- because nothing says "power" like a discounted cocktail, right? It was around 6 PM, and the place was buzzing with energy--and some impressively loud patrons. The hostess was friendly, and I quickly found myself flipping through the menu. Food choices? Plentiful. Speciality cocktails? Eh, just three. But if you're more of a wine or beer enthusiast, you've got a bit more to play with. Not one to shy away from a deal, I kicked things off with the Palm Beacher--a pineapple-infused vodka creation that, sadly, tasted like watered-down regret. Even my friends took a sip and gave it a hard pass. Redemption came in the form of my second drink: a Canyon Road Cabernet that made me wonder why I didn't start with wine. It hit all the right notes. As for the food? You can't go wrong with their Filet Mignon Sandwiches--sliced filet with mustard mayo sauce. Simple. Savory. No complaints from me. The Parmesan truffle matchstick fries were crisp, hot and delicious. Overall, Morton's is a solid choice whether you're a steak devotee or just tagging along for the ride. The vibe shifts depending on when you visit--lunch is chill, happy hour's a bit rowdier, and dinner? Well, that's a whole other chapter.

I went to Morton's specifically for the Veuve Bubbles and Bites special, and unfortunately the experience was a major letdown. For the overall experience, I give it a 2/10. The entire reason I came was for the Veuve Clicquot presentation that's being advertised everywhere, including the signature yellow Veuve box. Neither the downtown nor the Galleria locations actually have the Veuve box, which completely defeats the purpose of the promotion. Like where's the budget?? Pricing wise, I'd give it a 4 or 5 out of 10. It was $10 for two sliders/fries and $19 for the champagne. At that price point, I could have easily gotten a burger, fries, and champagne somewhere else. I wasn't coming for value, I was coming for the experience. Blah. What made it more frustrating is that my bartender, Melissa, did not mention that the Veuve box was not included when I ordered. Someone came in after me and she explained it to them, but by then I had already ordered, so it was too late. That lack of transparency really impacted the experience. She was locked in with them. The oysters were the one bright spot. They were solid and pretty good. I'd give the oysters an 8 or 9 out of 10. Overall, while the food itself wasn't bad, the experience was nonexistent. I came for Veuve and the full presentation, and I got none of it. Because of that, the full experience is a 1 out of 10. Harsh I know.

Impeccable service as always at Morton's! This time went with the 16 oz NY Strip medium rare. Cooked perfectly and the Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse was light and delicious. Loved the cute chocolate cup it came in. A must dinner spot for any occasion.

The staircase lined with butcher knives (check out my photos!) is such a unique design element, and the whole restaurant has this upscale, modern vibe. We were seated upstairs at a large round table with an incredible view of the city. As the sun set and the lights came on, it made the whole evening feel even more special. Our server, Michelle, was absolutely fantastic. She was so personable, attentive, and genuinely made our dinner even more enjoyable. Now for the food... wow. We started with the calamari and the burrata, and both were phenomenal. The burrata was unbelievably fresh and creamy, and every accompaniment on the plate complemented it perfectly. You can tell they put a lot of thought into balancing every flavor. Then our entrées arrived, and while my steak was cooked beautifully and all of our sides were delicious, there was one dish that completely stole the show: the Cream Corn Crème Brûlée. I genuinely don't think I've ever had anything like it. It was sweet, savory, creamy, rich, and somehow perfectly balanced all at once. Every single person at our table had to try it, even the ones who initially said they didn't want any, and everyone's reaction was exactly the same: complete disbelief at how good it was. If you only order one side here, make it the Cream Corn Crème Brûlée. It's unforgettable. The only small critique anyone at our table had was that the Brussels sprouts weren't quite as crispy as expected, but honestly, I still enjoyed them. Overall, this was an incredible dining experience from start to finish. Beautiful atmosphere, outstanding service, and some of the best food I've had in a long time. It's absolutely worth the splurge, and I can't wait to come back.
