I ordered the octopus and it was really good. Not the best in Houston but it was very tender. A little fishy but good.

We came here to celebrate my husband for his birthday. I made a reservation in advance for us and were seated right away. We also used Valet for parking since the Astros game was going on that night and parking was crazy. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by our server Sonya who was beyond amazing!! She was very patient, informative and showed us great hospitality!! The sommelier was great as well and we ordered a bottle of wine. We ordered the pear & blue cheese salad to start off with and the shrimp cocktail. For our main course I had the red snapper and my husband had the steak with potatoes and spinach. It was all so yummy!! The ambience was very chill and relaxing. After all the yummy food we had cream brûlée and it was delicious as well! Overall we had a great time and will definitely be bringing some friends with us next time! Thank you again Sonya for the amazing service!!

We came to celebrate a friend's birthday and probably ate WAY too much. We sat in the corner, which we liked. The vibes are quiet and fancy for sure. I forget our server's name, but he was great and personable. We tried a variety of things as a table. Oysters, Crab Cake, Bone Marrow, Crab Cakes, Cesar Salad, Bone-In Ribeye and the fish (I forget what it was, pic attached). We got a variety of sides like mash potatoes, fries, mac and cheese... honestly for 6 people we were overeating LOL. Bone-In-Ribeye was really fatty/oily, but pretty good. I really enjoyed the fish and would get it again. Obviously, pricing is high, but I think it is worth it. Definitely check it out for a special occasions!

The restaurant is very dark but has enough ambient light at your table. The food tasted great. The staff was attentive. The staff was helpful but it does get very annoying when you order something and they try to upsell you every step of the way. I enjoyed my experienced but I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon.

Our server, Taylor, was THE BEST!!! Highly recommend him! The food was great, this place has my absolute favorite tuna appetizer (tuna poke)!!! We got a double order this time. HIGHLY recommend!!! The steaks were great, the filet was SO tender. Sides are decent as well. Great portion sizes for the price.

Went here for a late dinner. Sat in the bar for a little bit and ordered a drink while waiting for our table to be ready. Ordered the short rib and it was one of the best I've had. We shared a couple of sides, including the au gratin potatoes and green beans. Sides were definitely large enough portions to share. Bread pudding was a great end to the meal. There is valet parking available.

Vick & Anthony's has the absolute best crab cake I've ever had! My food was brought out within five minutes of me, ordering it! Vick & Anthony's is not an inexpensive restaurant but every time I've gone to Vick Anthony's, I've had amazing service and phenomenal food! The ambience of this restaurant is upscale, and the staff are generally highly trained and provide outstanding customer service I also tried the jumbo shrimp cocktail, which was excellent! I recommend this restaurant! GN3

My aunt invited me to a CE dinner hosted by the Vietnamese American nurses association at Vic and Anthony's in downtown Houston. They had a prix fixe menu in their private room upstairs for us. I chose the lobster bisque as my appetizer, steakhouse salad as my salad, an 8 oz filet ignore my entree, and a cheesecake to go as my dessert. The lobster bisque was very decadent and rich, maybe even a little too much for me. There were not that many lobster pieces in there. It could've used some more spice to it for me personally. I really liked the steakhouse salad. It came with cucumbers, tomatoes, croutons, and a vinaigrette. It was very refreshing and tasty. I got the 8 oz filet mignon snd it was probably cooked to a medium. They didn't ask us how we wanted our steak but I would've preferred medium rare and for the steak to be a bit more tender. The guy next to me got the Atlantic salmon with jumbo lump crab meat and grape tomatoes with beurre blanc sauce. It looked so good that I wish I had gotten that instead. They also served roasted fingerling potatoes and steamed broccolini as our sides. Both were solid, I had no complaints about them. I took the cheesecake home to go but I don't recall actually eating it

Truth time. We haven't been here in a while because of a bad experience over a year ago.., but tonight, we went with some friends and it was excellent! The service was top notch, and the food was so delicious! The atmosphere is always bustling, and maybe a tiny bit too loud to have deep conversations, but a great warm feeling of everyone having a wonderful time overrides that! You will not find better crab cakes on the face of this earth. Believe me when I say I have tried for years.... And they carry the trophy for best on the planet!! (Would you believe I forgot to take a pic of them?) See... I was so excited I couldn't think straight! 5 stars for V & A!

HRW 2025: Warm dark chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream
    Annalisa P.

I wanted to love this steakhouse and had high hopes, but I wasn't impressed. I went to try this on the last day of HRW 2025. It was pouring rain, so it was nice that the entrance has an awning and is in between Westin downtown which helps block some rain. There's some street parking nearby along with parking garages. Our seats were ready when we arrived. It wasn't busy in the section we were seated in. The interior reminded me of The Capital Grille onWestheimer. It's dark with booth and table seating with black and gold interior and leather. Quite grand. It's beautiful inside. Our server didn't introduce himself, but he was nice. I could tell that he was giving us time to talk, but as that seating area filled, he was hardly around and serving tables on the opposite side of the room. I found it odd that they gave 2 servers mixed tables on opposite sides of the seating area. The complimentary French bread was served warm with pretty-piped salted butter. It reminded me of Pappadeux except the bread was pre-sliced. I had the classic Caesar salad, 6 oz filet mignon with whipped potatoes, haricot verts, and truffled compound butter and the warm, dark chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. Classic Caesar salad - Large portion. Liked that there wasn't full anchovies on it. The croutons were buttery and crumbled nicely while eating. The downside - there was too much dressing all over. It coated the romaine so much that it looked wilted and was too acidic to eat much of. Disappointing. I will start asking for dressing on the side, but usually Caesar salad isn't drenched like that. 6 oz. filet mignon with whipped potatoes, haricot verts, and truffled compound butter - I liked how tender the filet mignon was, but there was absolutely no bark or crust on the steak. It was one note - soft. They cooked it medium to perfection, at least. The truffled compound butter was salted and had bits of truffle in there which was nice. The mashed potatoes tasted a little like instant potatoes and were a little sticky in texture. The haricot verts (French for green beans) was crisp but plain. They left the ends on which can make it more tough and fibrous. Dark chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream - It was a nice, gooey dark chocolate brownie almost like molten lava cake. It had a thin, crispy chocolate wafer on top which added great texture. The whipped cream and vanilla ice cream was standard. My friend had the apple streusel coffee cake which was presented nicely. It was like a mini bundt cake with the perfect scoop of ice cream. It wasn't too dense. Give them a try and see if you like it, but I think there are better steakhouses in Houston.

This was my birthday celebration! I can't believe I have been living in Houston this long and have never been here. For starters, be mindful there is a dress code. You can not wear shorts in the dining area. We were still welcomed to dine but were moved to and area with high table area. Side note: it wasn't me. I was looking gorg. Okay back to whay you came here. The food here was great from beginning to the end. Although not the best crab cake I have had, it is in the top 3. The steak. The STEAK! It melted in my mouth like butter. Although it cost just as much as my car insurance does, it is definitely unforgettable. The photo posted is 1/2 of this 16 oz. Steak. The sides were buttery and cooked to perfection. I don't even know why we had dessert we were so full and had food to be able to take home. Oh yes, I know why, it was my birthday.

    Prime NY Strip 14oz
    Jason N.

Vic & Anthony's steakhouse! I came here to have a nice dinner for my parents and it was a great experience! Ordered the Prime NY strip 14oz, Prime Rib eye 18oz (not shown in this review unfortunately), gulf red snapper, a side of lyonnaise potstos, and the crossiant bread pudding for dessert. The Prime NY strip was superb, very juicy and easily one of the best. Prepared steaks I've had. The Prime RibEye was ok in my own opinion, definitely much more preferred the NY strip. I thought the RibEye would be more juicy and rich and more tender but I felt like the NY strip came out overall much better. The lyonnaise potatos I personally wouldn't get it again, pretty basic and its expensive for the price. Gulf red snapper was very fresh and prepared beautifully. We loved it! Crossiant bread pudding was on point. The coffee crunchyness is a nice addition to the bread pudding and ice cream. We loved it! Service was attentive and amazing, the servers take their time talking to you, explaining the differences and their opinions on the menu. I saw our waiter taking alot of his own time to explain each cut of meat to the table next to us when they were trying to decide what to get. Parking around the area is of course terrible, they offer valet for a price of course. Prepare to have trouble getting out of the place as the small driveway gets congested during peak hours.

Parking is costly nervy since it's near Daikin park, so valet is the easy and low cost option. Hostess greeted us at arrival and had the table ready within 5 minutes. We had Andres as our server and he was AMAZING! Now for the food... oh man it was good. The lobster bisque has plenty of pieces of lobster and wonderful flavor. The warm bread is fantastic and we had to stop ourselves after a piece to not fill up. The bone in rib eye came out beautifully seared and cooked perfectly to requested temp (medium rare). Same for the NY strip. Both steaks were very good. We shared whipped potatoes and creamed spinach and were in heaven. Can't wait to come back

Is there live music? If so, which nights?

    https://www.vicandanthonys.com/event/live-music-nightly/ It's an amazing place.

I will be coming with a group of meat-eaters but I am vegan and gluten-free. Will I be starving when I leave?

Hello, we offer salad options and vegetable sides to order.

What's the current dress code for men?

In the main dining rooms: No shorts, no hats, no flip flops. The bar area does not have this dress code and is open seating, first come first served. On game days, there is counter seating facing the kitchen available on a first come first served… Read more

Dress code in summer for men...i assume its a bit more relaxed. im not expecting shorts to be allowed but i would not guess most men are in jackets when its 90+ outside even in the evening.…

Jackets are not required You are good with a pair of slacks or jeans & a collared shirt. Short or long sleeves are accepted

Is this the same restaurant as the Vic & Anthony's in Las Vegas?

    yes.

So we have reservations for 2 at 5pm, and we have tickets to ballet that we need to arrive around 6:30 for ? Can we be in and out comfortably in about an hour? I'm hoping…

Maybe if you know what to order as soon as you sit down and advise your server of your time limit. 1.5 hrs is cutting time very close tho for any sit down dinner plans IMO.

Any sort of dress code?? To update this…

Our suggested attire is business or dressy casual. A jacket and tie is preferred for gentlemen, but not required. We do not allow hats, shorts or flip-flops.

    Do they take to-go orders?

First, why would you want a $75 dollar steak to go! With that said, if you ask I'm sure they will accommodate. If you're unable to enjoy the ambiance, enjoy their food.

Going to a Wednesday night Astros game. Going to eat in the bar. Can we valet and leave our car til the game is over?

Yes you can. You still have to pay for valet, it's not comped which is surprising to me so I would definitely keep it there since you pay $8 already.

Is a reservation necessary? Looking to take my girlfriend for our one year and want to make sure I get everything right.

    Yes

I might have just found one of my new favorite restaurants in Houston. What a great experience!…read more Recently, a good friend dined here and immediately called me to tell me how great it was. She then text our friends group and said we all had to come together and we did just that. She made reservations in advance as this place is popular thanks to recent Michelin Bib Gourmand awards as well as many other accolades. Walk ins are welcome as well. Our reservation was later in the evening so after a night of bar hopping, we ride shared in which I think is one of the best options as parking is limited here or you have to find street parking in the neighborhood. This place is literally a house turned into a restaurant. Inside is just multiple rooms with a couple of tables. It makes for a unique, intimate dining experience, perfect for a date night. In our case, we were a group of nine so we got patio seating. The patio is spacious and well kept, and if the weather cooperates, a great place to hang. One thing that really stood out to me is the amazing ambience of this place. I was told that the bartenders pick the music for the night from the owners extensive vinyl collection. Once the album is in, they play it in it's entirety. The sound system was systeming and on top of the great company and food, we were totally vibing with the music. Customer service was amazing. Every staff member we came across was so friendly, especially our server. The menu here changes. There are some mainstays, but they like to change things up. Their website shows current menus daily. We were told that family style is the best way to experience this restaurant. I am one of those people that will always listen to the staff and go with their suggestions. Our group went through quite a bit of their menu from apps, entrees and desserts. I loved that our server and staff brought our food out one by one in what they thought was the best progression so we could take a culinary journey. We started off light with their popular Dilly Bread. Best bread I've had in awhile. Next was the Texas Tartare. It was my first ever tartare and it was delicious. We then moved on to Fingerlingin Good which was a crispy potato dish with chili crisp and mascarpone. It was potatoes elevated to the highest level and so so good. Next up was Beer Battered Sweet Tots. I didn't think sweet potatoes could be that good. Our first entree was a vegan dish called the Carroty Kid. I could seriously become a vegan if all dishes tasted like this. It was curried. A bowl of jasmine rice would've made it a complete meal. Next we tried another famous Nobie's dish called Nonno's Pasta. Handmade, perfectly cooked tagliatelle with a delicious bolognese. I wouldn't share this next time. Ok, I will, but it was that good. On to the heavier dishes. First up was the Jamon With Your Bad Self. This came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It was favorite heavy entree. It was high quality, iberico pork steak with shaved brussels and all kinds of other tasty ingredients that when combined made such a tasty bite. We then went to the sea with the Drops of Grouperter. It was good, but not something I would order again. It was a little too smoky for my liking. Our biggest dish that came market priced was the Kick His Ass Seabass. This was a whole fish that was presented beautifully on a platter with all the accouterments to make your own elevated fish tacos. We left no morsel of fish behind. It was absolutely delicious. One of the things this place is really known for is their pies. This was the part I was most excited about. Just like their menu, their pies change up. We got all their offerings that night which they presented on one big platter of goodness. Their main stay and I believe always on the menu is the famous Olive Oil Cake. It's not a pie, but I can see why this is such a popular dessert. I can't even describe it, you just have to try it to understand. The pies we had were the Black Bottom Strawberry Pie, Banana Rum, and the Peanut Butter Pie. I would order all of them again. We all had a difference of opinion on which was the best, but my fave was the Banana Rum. Overall, I was highly impressed with this place and kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to make it here. It had made it's way to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Houston. I will be back.

Flavors, flavors, flavors! This was another on our list of Michelin Bibendum spots to try, and we…read morethoroughly enjoyed the meal. We started with a dozen oysters 2 ways. The first were "natural" and nicely briny. The 2nd was pure genius: they said it would taste like a Big Mac, and they were spot on. Amazing! Steak Tartare - the steak and deviled egg mixture were satisfyingly velvety and the accompanying bread was buttery, chewy, and addictive; Puff Puff Pass - unique textures: crispy, chewy, smooth elements are married beautifully. Nonno's Pasta - this dish was my least favorite. I found the flavors to be too cheese forward with not enough acid; Jamon With Your Bad Self - while not much to look at, this dish was outstanding. The pork's texture was simply magical, and the flavors well-balanced. On the side, we had the Fingerlingin Good potatoes, and they lived up to their name: pleasantly crispy and bursting with savory goodness. Desserts: the Olive Oil Cake was a dream: incredibly moist and tender with vanilla richness and a kiss of lemon. The Black Bottom Pie was not my favorite. I would the salt to be too much and couldn't eat more than 2 bites because of it. Service: warm, gracious, attentive, and efficient. As for ambiance, this is where the restaurant misses the mark for me. It's in an old house, and when we walked in, that's exactly what I smelled: old house. Still, if you're looking for a unique, creative menu that delivers on flavors, add nobie's to your bingo card.

Is this the most overrated restaurant in Houston?…read more After being on my "To Try" list for an unacceptable amount of time, I finally made my way over to Nancy's Hustle. I was lucky enough to snag a seat at the bar with no reservation. I arrived about 30 minutes into open and there was already a wait list. I suggest getting there early or making a reservation if you're not a solo diner. The interior is nice and intimate, with low lighting that doesn't work well for photos but definitely for a cozy dinner. The set up and music reminded me a little bit of 93 Til due to the decor. I started with the duck dumplings and the Nancy cakes. I wasn't expecting it but they offer half orders which is great for a solo diner who wants to try multiple things. Both items were delicious. The dumplings had a nice savory sauce with some texture from the peanuts. These were great but probably my bottom of the list which is saying something. I would only say this because they reminded me a lot of the hot oil wontons from duck and bao so at that price point, you might as well get more. The Nancy cakes were pillowy and savory and made a great vessel for honey butter and roe. I even used a bit to dunk into the leftover dumpling sauce. I suggest eating these as soon as they hit your table. I was trying to savor my bites but the cakes benefit a lot from being nice and hot. It's not the most ground breaking dish in the world but it's done well and I would definitely call it a must order. I could have eating a full order of it alone. My main dishes is where my mind was blown. I went with the roast chicken and half order of the gem lettuce salad and fries. This might be the best roast chicken I've ever had in Houston. Chicken can be a hit or a miss because sometimes, there just isn't much flavor. This was absolutely not the case here. The chicken was juicy and seasoned to the core. It even heated up well as left overs without being dry. The chili sauce on the bottom was flavor intensified and as I swiped my chicken through the pools of sauce, I thought to myself "overrated where?!". The gem salad caught me by surprise. I'm not one to stay away from a salad at a restaurant because they typically do them better than you can make at home . Nancy's Hustle solidified this opinion. The salad was wonderfully briney and savory. The lettuce was crisp and covered in the herby shallot dressing that grabbed my taste buds. Topped with anchovies and pancetta for a nice salty touch. So so good. The fries were the perfect side, crisp and not too potatoey (yes this is a thing). I traded in the aoli for some ketchup because that's just my thing. I concluded this wonderful dining experience with a dessert. Buttermilk ice cream with cornflakes, black berries and honey butter cookie. This dessert was a lesson in balance. Every component was present , sweet, salty, crunchy, cool. Each bite had something new to offer and combined into a perfectly executed dessert. As a cocktail, I tried their tropical drink. I don't remember what it was called but I know I could have drank about 7 of those. This was a great dining experience. I think when things get popular, sometimes we feel the need to be contrarians with our experiences. That wasn't the case for me. Nancy's Hustle has earned its popularity and I'll definitely be back

The ricotta cavatelli was light and zesty and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. A phenomenal spring/ summer pasta parmesan & pancetta croquettes were crisp to perfection and are a must try if you're a cheese lover like me. Not pictured was their cocktail the green flag which was a 10/10! Service was out of this world. Our waitress was so kind and gave great recommendations! We got seated out in the patio and they have fans they can bring to the table if it gets too hot in this Houston heat but, the vibes were perfect for date night once the sun went down and the small table lamp turned on.

Food - you really can't go wrong with anything you order here. This time the highlights were definitely the duck and the rice. I could have eaten the rice as a meal and been very happy. Drinks - wine and cocktails 10/10 Parking - you might get lucky w self parking in the back of the restaurant otherwise it's valet for $8 right now. Make a reservation and wear something nice. Definitely a must try in Houston for an upscale experience.

We weren't drinking so we did mocktails. Their selection is solid. I recommend the Million Dollar Baby and the New Madness. For the oysters, we did 2 of each: fried, smoked and roasted. I would low key just come back for oysters next time. They were that damn good. I was let down by the dry-aged burger. Even though I ordered the burger as medium, it was pretty dry. I've had better burgers from joints around town. Not worth $24. The Chicken entree was an absolute let down. I won't even elaborate. Some of our favorite entrees were the carrot soup and crab rice. Both were out of this world. For me the food was 3/5, service (aside from staff forgetting occasion of visit) 5/5, value 3/5. Also valet parking is $8. I'm still undecided if I'll be back. Need to recover from spending $275 on a single dinner. Ouch.

First, we got there pretty early for our reservation. We sat almost immediately upon check in. Our waiter was in training but did a really good job. Ordered a whiskey sour. Was seated at the bar so I got to watch it be made. The bartender- man that guy never stopped. He was organized and just did his thing. So many pretty drinks were made while I was there watching. The pink one, whatever it was, was really pretty! On to the food. We got two apps, two meals, and two desserts. Husband ordered the Brussels, Steak Frites, and the Devil's Affogato. I got the Bacon covered Dates, the Pizza, and the Sticky Toffee Cake. The Brussels were good - husband liked them more than me. They were good. Had cashews in them. Little spicy. The bacon covered dates. Think this was my favorite bite. Sweet, salty, creamy. Came we three & I had two. The pizza was sweet and salty as well. The crust was so good and fresh. The arugula set it off so well. Def a buy again! The Steak Frites was so good. The chimichurri sauce was perfect. Just the right mount of citrus. Steak was tender and the fries seasoned well. The desserts - don't skip them! The Devils Affogato we had the first time we ate at Sixty Vines. Had to have it again. If you like coffee, chocolate and vanilla ice cream just get it. Restaurant vibe is relaxed and clean. There were several large parties and what looked like a lot of date night guests. Just try it. No regrets!!

Unfortunately, just like my first visit, they were not fully met. We had reservations for brunch, and our party of six was seated immediately on the beautiful second floor. Service was efficient throughout the meal, with our waiter taking our orders promptly and the food arriving quickly. To start, we ordered the Brussels and the hummus. The Brussels were cooked very well and had an excellent crispy texture, but I felt the kung pao vinaigrette lacked the bold flavor I was expecting. A little more sweetness and acidity would have helped brighten the dish and make it more memorable. The hummus, on the other hand, pleasantly surprised me. Both the red beet hummus and edamame hummus were flavorful and enjoyable. They paired well with the crisp flatbread and even served as a nice accompaniment to some of our less exciting entrées. For my meal, I ordered the marinated artichoke pizza, which unfortunately did not stand out. I had the same issue that I experienced during my previous visit: the crust was simply too thick and chewy. After a few slices, my jaw was genuinely getting tired from all the chewing. The pizza also could have benefited from more bacon and a more generous amount of sauce, as it came across a bit dry overall. The campanelle suffered from a similar problem. While I understand that simplicity was likely the goal, the dish was so understated that it ended up feeling bland. It tasted like a slightly elevated version of buttered pasta with just a hint of white wine. There was nothing particularly wrong with it, but it lacked the depth of flavor needed to make it memorable. On a much more positive note, the carrot cake pancakes were easily the star of the meal. I tend to gravitate toward savory breakfasts, but my sister was eager to try them, and I am so glad she did. These were not your typical pancakes. They were thick, fluffy, and incredibly soft in the center. With toppings like maple butter, maple cream, mascarpone whip, candied walnuts, and cardamom sugar, I expected the dish to be overwhelmingly sweet. Surprisingly, everything was balanced quite well. While I cannot imagine finishing an entire plate by myself, anyone with a sweet tooth would absolutely love them. Overall, this restaurant continues to impress me with its atmosphere, service, and a few standout dishes, but the entrées I have tried have not lived up to the hype. If I were to return, I would happily order the hummus and carrot cake pancakes again, but I would probably skip the pizza and pasta in favor of trying something new.

The front hostess, Annabella, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel valued from the start. Our waiter was equally amazing and attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring we had a wonderful evening. We started with the deviled eggs and crab beignets, both of which were absolutely delicious. Their French onion soup was hearty. Drinks were fabulous too. For our meal, we ordered the mashed potatoes, cacio e pepe, pork schnitzel, blackened fish, miso fish, and burger, and every dish was perfectly prepared and packed with flavor. The restaurant went above and beyond by surprising my mother-in-law with a birthday dessert (upon my request when I had originally booked it), which was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration even more memorable. We also enjoyed the pecan ball and chocolate soufflé, and both were outstanding. Between the incredible food, impeccable service, and special attention to our celebration, State of Grace exceeded all expectations. Annabella, our waiter, and the entire staff made the evening feel truly special. Easily one of the best dining experiences we've had in Houston, and we can't wait to return! I will be planning a girls night there soon!

Maybe my expectations were too high, but one of my pancakes was under cooked. The others were still just average to me in terms of flavor AND texture. But, I'm a "crispy edges" pancake kinda of person, and these definitely don't hit that mark. Now my eggs and bacon were fantastic, but those are two breakfast staples that are kind of hard to mess up. Now the service?! Oh my, the service was amazinggggggg. I sat at the bar and I felt like I had the entire bar staff catering to me. They definitely excel in that regard!!! Constantly checking in, glass always stayed full, and anything I requested came with a quickness. My griddle cakes, bacon, eggs, and a glass of bubbles came to $47, which is super expensive for breakfast. The price tag just isn't worth it for me to try again, honestly. But I'm glad I came! Their menu is very, VERY limited, so if you're a picky eater you may want to check their offerings first before venturing here.

I know. "Fine dining" and burgers? But that's what I wanted. I searched the web and found the Chefs Table in Vintage Park, and it wasn't too far from us here in The Woodlands, so we decided to make reservations and head there. From the moment we entered, we were treated like special guests. The ambiance is rich, but not overdone or stuffy. Simply classic and relaxing. Our booth felt private and unhindered by conversations of nearby diners or wait staff bustling past. Our cocktails were perfect. The calimari we ordered as an appetizer was probably the most tender and delicious either of us have ever had. And when our burgers arrived, I was so happy. It was exactly what I had set my mind on when selecting my birthday dinner experience. The blend of brisket and chuck was absolutely delicious, set atop a perfectly buttered toasted bun, with some crispy onion straws on top. And the fries... oh my! I rarely if ever eat fried food - so clearly this was my big day to completely go off my standard fare, but those fries had the perfect crunch and flavor. Apparently, when my husband made our resv, he told them it was my birthday, so our server brought out a delightful complimentary spiced cake dessert after we were finished eating - for us to share. It was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Thank you to the entire staff at The Chefs Table yesterday, for helping to create a memorable and delicious birthday feast for my husband and me. We will definitely be back to try some other delights because the menu is packed full of amazing looking dishes.
