The food at Mo's Diner was so delicious!! We went when it was very busy but the wait was only 15-20 minutes for a bigger group and service was amazing! Delicious!!! Don't be fooled by the exterior--this place is an absolute gem. Old school diner decor inside. Amazingly sweet staff. Everything was cooked to perfection. Although this diner is a bit far from our house, it is worth the drive! The old-fashioned, friendly, diner-style restaurant serves up wonderful food! We were welcomed in through the back door, which opens onto the main parking area behind the restaurant, and allowed to choose our seat. We chose to sit in the front area by the door which faces Manitou Boulevard. The back section has even more seating. The front is decorated like an old-fashioned diner with a jukebox and cool retro art. This is obviously a place that has regulars who eat here daily, and the staff knows their names. They serve a full menu all day. We'd like this because I don't normally eat eggs and we were here just after 7 AM. All the booths were full, as a testament to their popularity. My husband had the veggie omelette with a bowl of fruit, and I had the green chili burger Served over lettuce, accompanied by french fries. All the food was delicious. I especially loved the green chili (I ordered a mix of vegetarian and pork) over my burger, into which I also dipped my seasoned French fries. I also want to know that they have a variety of hot sauces, including several which include habanero and ghost peppers. Even if you are not a fan of super hot sauces, these are worth at least a taste because they are less hot and spicy than I expected. read more

Adorable 50's style diner, owned and operated for 40 + years. So it is doing something right!! It is like walking back in time. (However, I would encourage a power wash in 2026 and a few coats of paint before spring...) . Looks a little dogeared these days, but it has great local charm and a real throwback to all the "Happy Days" charm.... Great Place for the motorcycle riders to fall across it and be sure to wear your blue jeans and white t-shirt. read more

Our very finicky Wednesday lunch ladies (50's - 80's) just had lunch here. The food we had was top notch..." the best Rueben I've ever had in Colorado". The fries and onion rings arrived hot and crispy. The green chili has just the hint of a burn. The hamburger was "just like it was when I was in high school" perfect. The service was quick and friendly. It must have gotten that fresh coat of paint - at least on the inside, as it sparkled with clean crisp lines. Absolutely amazing food! The coffee was amazing and the breakfast felt like homemade food!

This was a delicious spot for breakfast after hiking in Garden of the Gods. It unassuming from the outside, but don't let that fool you. They have delicious green chili that can be put on any dish. I asked if it was spicy and the waitress happily brought us each a sample. It's delicious and they have a pork or vegetarian version. We both had omelettes which were very good. I saw some delicious looking French toast being delivered to another table. It's a cute diner vibe and very clean. Our server could not have been nicer, and all the servers are very attentive to all tables. Had no issue with coffee refills. Only open until 2 for breakfast and lunch. read more

Stopped in for breakfast on the way home to Denver last Sunday. The diner is a woman owned, local gem in Manitou Springs that serves delicious food! The service was exceptional. Friendly staff that are quick and attentive. I had the breakfast burrito smothered in green chili with a side of biscuits and gray to share. OUTSTANDING!!! The portions were plentiful...enough to take home for later. The prices are reasonable. If I was a local, I'd be a regular. We visited twice, don't be fooled by older exterior, it's nicely redone, clean, with an old time classic decor. The service was quick, friendly, and the food was served so fast! One person in our party ordered eggs Benedict which was delicious. We wanted to return on Tuesday for others to order it, but it's not on their Tuesday menu. The cook came out and assured us, he would make it especially for us! Sure enough, Tuesday brought eggs Benedict! Their green chili sauce is home made and a must to try! The atmosphere of the diner was friendly with a family feel to it. ( A fun caring family not a dysfunctional one.) This atmosphere was reflected in the service. We loved Mo's Diner so much we ate there twice, even though we had decided early in or vacation that we wouldn't eat at the same place twice. Great prices, great food, and great portions. This little place is definitely worth trying out, at least once!! Day one: I had the Southern Style Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast. It was tender meat, crispy breading, and smothered in sausage gravy. DELISHUS!! I can't say enough good things about a proper Chicken Fried Steak, and Mo's does a great job. The boys had the 2+2+2 and the Full Order of Biscuits and Gravy and we ordered a second one for the old man who's no longer with us, but came on the trip. The boys reported that their pancakes and eggs and biscuits and gravy were very good and I can attest that the biscuits are flaky and moist and the sausage gravy is almost as good as mine!! Day Two: I had the Breakfast Burrito and just wished I had enough room for two. Mo's really knows their way around a Breakfast Burrito and fills that sucker up with lots of eggs, sausage, onions, and hash browns, then smothers that SOB with a ton of pork chili verde, which, by the way, was absolutely fantabulous!!! The boys reported that their burger and pancakes were excellent and the old man's B&G went down just as good as they did the day before. Five out of Five. If we are ever in Colorado Springs Area again, we'll be dining at Mo's first thing in the morning!!!! read more

I feel like the food could be more impressive, but Mo's has their niche and clientele figured out - we're not going to the diner for light faire and high prices! 2+2+2 was lots of food but dang delicious. Ate at Mo's today. I have been to most breakfast places in the Springs and decided to try something new. Only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated and then drinks came in maybe 10 minutes. Then, we waited 55 minutes for our food. It wasn't too busy there and others around us were getting their food. No apologies or even acknowledgement for how long we waited. It would have been fine but when the food was it was completely cold. Not even room temp but cold. We got 2 breakfasts, a side of bacon and 2 drinks and it was $62! I won't be visiting this establishment again when there are plenty of other decent breakfast places in the Springs. read more

Wow! Where do I start? Our server, Sharla, is the owner's sister and she is above and beyond when it comes to service! She was so friendly and helpful and let us sample their famous green chili sauce before we ordered. Everyone absolutely loved their food and the retro ambiance. One set of pancakes came out a tad dark, so Sharla automatically had the chef do another batch, but let my daughter take the extras home because they weren't too done for her. It is clearly a favorite place for locals and the staff has such a great rapport with guests. We will come here every time we come back to the area! read more

Awesome place! The service is amazing , fast and the staff is friendly. The menu is big so there's something for everybody and the food is really delicious. The downside is that it's a small place, not a lot of seating, so there can be a bit of a wait, but not long. The parking lot is tiny and a tight fit. But it's worth it read more

Personally i didn't think this place was worth the prices. When you first walk in you're hit with the smell of the mildewed carpet and you have to only pay by cash. They have an atm that charges you a fee of course. They didn't mention the cash only until after we had eaten our food and went to pay. There are signs on the door, but we didn't see them as we walked in so that's our bad. read more

We went to Mo's on a whim because one of the places we wanted to visit wasn't open yet, and our group of 6 was hungry! We walked in and it was a very chill, home like vibe. We seated ourselves and our server (and I believe owner) was very sweet and welcoming. She gave us a sample of their Green Chili. WOW! It was amazing!! Most of us got it with our meals. We even took two containers to come back to Philly with us! Everything we ordered was amazing. The chef even came out and delivered our food to us. He was very friendly and a heck of a cook!!
