For starters they only accept cash, if you don't have cash there's an ATM there. Cashier was very friendly and pleasant. Though there was long lines, our food was prepped fast. We got 3 sizes of bowls and egg rolls. It was all so delicious. I can't believe how amazing this place is and I pass it every time before practice and never tried it. I have my new favorite teriyaki place now. It might not be classy looking and might look like a hole in the wall, but is so yummy. This place won't disappoint! You're in for treat. Try the egg rolls. Been coming here since I was a teenager that was 25 years ago, this place has never failed me, I just can't stop coming back, the teriyaki sauce they have here must be a family recipe, it's delicious. The smokey flavor from the chicken is one of a kind, I highly recommend it, I always get the #1 Chicken Teriyaki, it's well plated and will fill you up. Mos No 2 is my favorite and go to spot whenever I am craving for chicken teriyaki bowl or plate, especially this location which offer chicken with skin. The chicken is always made fresh, you can smell the wonder aroma when you are there. My go to order is the chicken and beef combo plate which come with half chicken and half beef with a side of gyoza, veggie egg roll and a salad. One portion of the combo plate is pretty big so you can definitely share or eat it 2x. If you don't want to over stuff yourself, you can just get a small or medium size bowl. I finally got the chance to check this place out last night and I think my fellow Yelpers may have overhyped it just a tad. The food is definitely good, but I was expecting the Ferrari of chicken/beef bowl places for some reason. I ordered the beef and chicken combination plate which I thought that would be a good start especially from the other recommendations on Yelp. It came with a side salad, 1 veggie eggroll and 1 gyoza (chicken?) and two little cups of their teriyaki sauce. Not bad for a little over $13! Definitely could've used more sauce though and probably a few more scoops of green onions too. Most of the beef pieces were tender and flavorful but I did have a few chewy pieces. The chicken skin took a little getting used to but it wasn't bad. There are plenty of outdoor seating even at dinner time. Lucky for me, I work down the street from this establishment. I finally tried it a few weeks ago, and everything was fresh and delicious. I was short on time, so I called in my order. I got the chicken plate, no rice. The salad dressing was so yummy. I enjoyed the egg roll and the dumpling it came with. The chicken was fresh and flavorful. This small chain is pretty consistent if you like charred flavourful chicken. I like it much more than Flame or Waba and it's been around longer I think. The only minus is it's cash only. Mos No 2 has four locations spread throughout Orange County. I used to go to the one in Santa Ana by the DMV years ago but now live in Anaheim. Luckily there is a Mos not to far from my house, so when I want that saucy goodness and a heft portion of food it's a hop skip, and a jump. Important tip this place is CASH ONLY so come prepared, if not you will have to use the ATM they have on location. If you have never been here before this place is the king of the chicken/beef bowls. I think it trumps Flame Broiler or Waba Grill. You get massive portions of food and a nice variety to go along with it. My go-to here is the #5 which will get you teriyaki beef with rice, three pieces of fried shrimp, gyoza, an eggroll, and a small salad. All this for $11!!! This is easily a couple of meals for me so the value is worth it. My son loves the teriyaki chicken bowl and I keep meaning to try the pork. Overall a great hole-in-the-wall local spot. If you have been on the fence and driving by this place, stop in some time and give it a go. Get a few extra sides of the sauce and don't forget the Tapatio. It's the perfect pairing. You get a healthy amount of Beef and Chicken Teriyaki over a bed of rice, a side salad, a veggie egg roll, and what appears to be a chicken stuffed gyoza. The beef is sometimes over cooked for my taste but still not bad overall. The chicken is great here. Its dark meat and you have the option for skin on or off. I had it both ways and taste great. I got my standard medium chicken bowl, skin on, extra chicken and extra green onions and was not let down for a second.
