We were originally going to just get Dennys but then I remembered I had this spot save on my yelps spots near Disney folder so thankful for that. It's a small restaurant with seating options outside they have drinks ice cream snacks and then of course their main dishes. You walk in and order through a kiosk and they come out and hand you the food We got the chicken katsu with a side of rice tempura shrimp and pot stickers coleslaw and katsu sauce Chicken teriyaki skewers with rice and a side of potstickers and tempura shrimp The katsu was thinly sliced nice and crispy with the perfect amount of seasoning and crunch I was very impressed with the portion and taste sometimes you go to places and the katsu itself has little to no flavor but not this one! Everything came together perfectly with the katsu sauce and coleslaw (which btw I am not a big fan of coleslaw but trust me when I say this the one here is different it's not to mayo-e if that makes sense it's more like a pickled type of slaw I can't really explain it but it was hella good 5/5 Chicken skewers were HELLA GOOD the sauce they put on the skewers was fireeeeeeeeeeee Again everything put together was hellla gooodddddd If you are around Disney planning on coming or staying near by I cannot recommend this place enough take this as your sign. Located at the street level of the Grand Legacy Hotel / The Fifth. This fast casual Korean spot is your reasonably priced, delicious, and filling choice for a day at Disney or the Anaheim Convention Center. Parking can get a little tricky, but we usually place a pick up order via DoorDash or their website (cheaper per owner). Then we tell the parking attendant we're just here for a pick up and they let you park for free. Ordered some kimbaps, crunch rolls, and spam musubis for an easy meal. EXPENSIVE for what it is. POOR service. They charge $20-25 for a plate but so stingy with utensils. Be aware, if you're sharing food, owner will get mad at you and slam the utensils if you ask for extra. UTENSILS! For context, we were a party of three. Bought 2 plates. $60 later, she gave us 3 forks and a spoon. I asked for 2 more spoons. When we were wrapping up, we had left over so I asked for extra fork and spoons since we were staying at a hotel. That's when I got the ATTITUDE. In her words, "more fork and spoon? Ordered the pork katsu and the katsu was decent. My shrimp tempura was a soggy raw mess, though. If it flops like a dead fish, chances are yours is raw too. I had to microwave it at the hotel but it was super fishy and didn't want to chance it. The potato hot dog was warm and the dough around the hotdog was totally raw. My girlfriend and I stopped by here around noon on Saturday to enjoy some fresh katsu before our stop to Downtown Disney close by. The service was nice and quick. The shop is a bit small but there's outdoor seating where you can eat your food. Came here around 9pm after a Disney day and it was the best decision ever. I haven't had a meal in a long time where I enjoyed every single item we ordered! There's 3 self service kiosks you can order at with pictures of the larger entrees so it's easier to choose what you want. There's no seating inside but there are a few tables outside covered with umbrellas. We ordered: Pork with cheese katsu- this was sooo worth it. There's 2 layers of cheesy, crispy pork katsu goodness, a big scoop of rice, coleslaw, a spicy radish sauce, and fried gyoza and shrimp on the side. Everything was seasoned well and stood out on its own. The radish sauce wasn't overly spicy and cut the richness of the cheese so well. Rose tteokbokki- the sauce was a little runny but the flavors were still on par-- creamy, cheesy, and a lil spicy. Rice cakes were bouncy and chewy, and sausages were umami flavor bombs. Shrimp musubi- these surprised me by how good they were! The shrimp was perfectly seasoned with a great crunch. Yummm Spam musubi- spam... you can't go wrong with spam. This was good, as expected! Mama Katsu is a hidden gem! I'm not sure how long they've been open, but wow--this place completely exceeded my expectations. Everything we ordered was delicious. The California roll was fresh and flavorful, my kimbap was vibrant and really well seasoned, and the shrimp tempura was amazing--super fresh, fluffy, and not greasy at all. We also ordered the spam musubi, which had great flavor and is always one of our favorites. The service was great, the place was clean, and it's also really convenient for takeout. We placed our order online through their website and it was ready quickly. When we arrived, the parking attendant helped direct us to double park on the red for a quick pickup, which made it SO convenient. If I could rate this place a 10, I would! I work at the happiest place on earth so I finally got to give this a try to bring lunch to work. I ordered the chicken katsu and it was so delicious and was still crunchy an hour later after clocking in for work. There was a lot of food to my surprise for $22. It is nice they give you a gyoza and shrimp tempura with your chicken katsu. The coleslaw I didn't care for but the pickles and rice I enjoyed a lot. I will go back again to try the other things on the menu. There is a kiosk to order so I didn't talk to anymore except when I got my food. Lady was nice who served me. We were looking for a quick takeout to-go food that wasn't your usual fast food fare, and came upon Mama Katsu. Parking isn't easy, but luckily the hotel valet instructed us to park in the red zone near the exit. It's a small shop but the menu had enough options to satisfy every person's cravings. Musubi for the kids, original kimbap and chicken katsu plates for the adults, all were really delicious and flavorful. The kiddos even wanted the katsu, a rarity in our house. Owner was lovely, very hospitable and patient. We took the food back to our hotel, but the patio area in front faces the Disneyland crowds walking to and back from the park, a great spot for people watching and enjoying the breeze. We'll be back! My flight landed late and I was famished. I searched Yelp for a less fast-food-oriented restaurant and Mama Katsu caught my eye due to its positive reviews. It's nestled in the heart of a small shopping center, a cozy carry-out restaurant with no dining space. The interior is charming and nicely decorated. When I walked in, a lady came out from the back and greeted me with very friendly energy. I ordered both the chicken and fish Katsu from the ordering kiosk by the counter. The food came out pretty fast and the packaging was very impressive, with each meal in a nice paper box. This and the service was the highlight of my experience from this establishment. I had the fish Katsu and found it to be ... okay. I like that the meals came with rice, two dumplings, and two small sides: coleslaw and pickled radish. However, the fried fish was quite oily and too heavily battered for my liking and left me feeling as though I had consumed more batter than actual fish. As a result, I didn't revisit during the rest of my stay and probably won't visit again when I'm in town next. If it's late and you're in the area, AND absolutely in the mood for Katsu, I would say give this place a try. Other than that, there are healthier options than here. You get the katsu, some tempura, rice, gyoza, and cole slaw with your meal! I got the pork cheese katsu at like 11 pm and they close at 12am. I also tried their chicken katsu and it tasted very light (not heavy on the oils and stuff). Super fresh and good! Not a big fan of their katsu sauce though. I think L&L has the best katsu SAUCE. What a wonderful gem located near Disneyland. Happened upon this spot after a long day of mediocre food at the theme park. Everything I got there was delicious and very reasonably priced (Not Disney prices). Pork Katsu comes with rice, a dumpling, a shrimp tempura, and some banchan. The flavor of everything was on point, even the panko crumbs on the katsu tasted light and fresh. All that and it was only $18. As a Korean, I had to try to Gimbab and it did not disappoint. One of the better ones Ive tried in SoCal. I talked to the Korean Ajuma who owns the store before leaving and she said she makes most things in house, even the panko. You can really taste it in the quality of her dishes. Excited to come back to try other dishes like the Udon and Tteok-bokki. read more

A very nice place for Korean food across Disneyland. It's just a little walk from the entrance. I think it's worth it for the quality of food since I don't think you can find good Korean food inside Disneyland. But you might need to spend 30 mins walking. I'm not sure if they have parking though. There is a parking lot of the hotel at the back, and they might let you park if it's a to-go order. read more

Came here to order takeout since it's not far from convention center and it wasn't too busy around 5:30p. Since they're short staffed, I ordered and paid on their order station as you walk in. There are limited tables and seating inside. The food comes out in order and it's only the owner and a helper in the kitchen in the back. Apparently you can also order ahead and not have to wait so long. I'll try that next time :) FOOD WISE: - The rolls were freshly made and were decent along with spam musubi. However, if you don't finish and want to keep the food for next meal the rice is very hard to eat. - The (Not too rosy) Rose Ttkeokbokki was heavy on the bacon taste and more soupy than anything I've had before, but the rice cakes were good. - Chicken Katsu plate was also what you'd expect. Prices were decent for the area and not overpriced. Of course you can get more for your buck if you went for other fast food options but this was not bad. The parking attendees had us park in a "red zone" beside the row of restaurants. A nice little spot in the business area a block away from Disneyland. Since we were staying in the area we decided to grab dinner here. They offer decent amount of options that you just order on your own at the self serve kiosk. They also have ice creams, mochi, and drinks available. We just ordered their katsu chicken dishes and they give you nice size portions of the food. We had plenty to eat as leftovers, or one order is enough to feed 2 people. Even though it was self serve, the lady still came out to each time we were inside to make sure we had everything we needed and was very friendly and eager to help if we needed anything.
