I had technician River came to replace the fence lines and told me the office would charge on my credit card when I offered to give a check. Two months later I received the bill and there was $25 late charge and pending collection. I found the address was spelled wrong on the bill. I called the technician and he explained the whole situation to the service rep Cody and they wanted to waive the late charge. However this lady named Ann Minzenmayer refused to waive the late charge although she knew I had never received the first bill because the address was spelled wrong. This is so unfair. I've had mosquito nix for 10 years. they were always reliable, courteous and helpful. I would highly reccomend them.

This company is totally worthless at customer service. We had them install a home system a few years ago and pay each month for the maintenance and refill service. Every month a totally new guy comes out so I have to show him where everything is. The last month after the guy left I found a huge leak in one of the hoses he missed. I called and they sent him back and he said he repaired it but it leaked the next day so they sent him back and he said an installer would need to come next, I guess a 6 foot piece of tubing was beyond his capabilities. So a new tech came and replaced the line and then 2 days later I notice nothing is working. The last guy left the electronic box timer mechanism uncovered and it got soaked in a big rain storm so it is completely shot. Now I wait for them again. I will be cancelling my service with them now. Really a BAD company as far as the service goes. read more

Review is based off company: I got mosquito system from them and work out well for us before 2021 pandemic. System itself is good and some nozzles do rust but if under warranty they will replace. I stopped the refill service due to price increase and budget BUT to restart service the warranty no longer stands. Before buying keep in mind warranty cancels when you freeze service from them. I find it interesting yet disappointing that MosquitoNix falls all over themselves to accomodate new customers but sees no value in retaining customers that have been paying for more than 6 months. After the first 6 months of service, the honeymoon is over. Phone operator is rude. Impossible to get in touch w/ anyone that is in management to try to work out issues with service delivery. THIS COMPANY MADE MY DOGS SICK!!!!!!!!!! I am writing this review as a buyer beware situation. I had my yard sprayed by Mosquito Nix and followed the verbal instructions "to keep my dogs inside for 30 minutes after the spray." In fact, I kept them inside for most of the afternoon. The material that was sprayed in my yard was claimed to be pet safe and children safe. It was not. It made both of my dogs sick. I have a 5lb chihuahua and 50lb pit bull. Both dogs had to go to the emergency room. They required about $2000 in supportive care to get them through the weekend. They were vomiting, coughing, agitated, they even experienced neurological symptoms. My yard was sprayed at 10am on Friday morning. Mosquito Nix is closed on the weekends. I was not given any information on what the ingredients were that were sprayed by the technician, so I had nothing to go on to give the vet. I was unable to get ahold of mosquito nix because they re closed over the weekend. I left voicemails expressing my concern and asking what the ingredients were in the product ( my main concern) so i could pass along this information to my vet. I called again.. (I called, they did not call me) on Monday morning and spoke with a receptionist who told me that "we received your voicemail, and our management team is out in the field, they are investigating and they will be in touch." I asked her if in the mean time there was anything I could do to counteract the effects the material that was sprayed in my yard. I asked if watering the lawn would help. Dilution often seems like the solution to pollution. She said " I don't know if this will help. We have had dogs react like this before and they just have to 'get used to it'." At this point I thank her, and I am not awaiting management's call. 1. They know this is a possible side effect and still choose to say this is pet safe. and pets just have to "get used to it".. .. you kidding me?? 2. Management is currently aware. ok. good. and I am told they are investigating. ok. great. It has been over a week now and I have yet to hear from management despite phone calls and emails. And now, I am even more upset. I have managed before. I know the best way to handle these situations, and none of those things were done here. You failed on all fronts. A phone call with an apology from a member of management did not occur. In fact, any concern from management was not shown to me. I now have $2000 vet bill, a dog that my dogs cannot go into, and a company that could care less. I have repeatedly asked for answers and have gotten none. I don't know if potentially the wrong material was sprayed in my yard.. Or maybe this product is not as a safe as they claim it to be. Again, I don't know the results of the "investigation." I recently had one of their technicians out to service my unit. He changed out some blocked nozzles. All was fine until I got the bill a few days later. They charged me $16.00 per nozzle. This is an exorbitant rate. I called them up to complain. They said that was the rate. I told them I would return the nozzles. They told me I would owe the whole bill anyway. That was 16 nozzles at $16.00 each or $256.00. The labor was $99.00 - very reasonable but they added sales tax to the labor charge which is incorrect. We have paid this company over $14,000 in monthly service charges for the refill and maintenance of the Mosquito Misting system they installed in 2006. The system was over $1500, on top of the $120 we pay per month. Having been fed up with the multiple times we have been attacked by mosquitos, to learn that the drum they are to fill is empty, I had to refresh my memory of what we are to receive of the $120+ per month. Come to find out, in an email dated 9/22/15 from them, we are supposed to receive service (a tech coming to our home to refill and test the system) every 49 days. I received this information when I finally called to complain when over a holiday weekend after they failed to compete the service call Friday, we were left with an empty drum over the 3 day weekend! LOVELY!! Not the first time. I was assured we would now be on a 35 day cycle. GUESS WHAT!!! They serviced the system 10/27/15....52 days ago!!! There is NO date that look to be coming and this is on top of me complaining more than once!! Look what I found out...look at the days between service we have experienced. I will copy and paste the email between Mosquito Nix and I from September showing the 35 day promise and me indicating that we have had 100+ days between services at some points: On Sep 22, 2015, at 3:16 PM, DXXXXXXX wrote: I am so surprised and infuriated to hear this! We moved into a house three years ago with a Mosquito Nix system. I called for a tank refill and assessment of our system. Can't say it was the greatest result but enough to keep going. I declined the service plans as they seem too expensive for what you get but learned the hard way that eventually they will gouge you financially. Recent service was terrible. Called for service, eventually a tech showed up and did an incomplete job. I was specifically told by tech that he would return to complete service for NO CHARGE. I had to call to get someone out to complete service and received a full price bill. After numerous calls to Mosquito Nix, I had a talk with a "general manager" who was full of excuses. I asked for detailed billing information and again received an INCOMPLETE response. Time to find a better company. read more

Mosquito Nix is a company that installs a mosquito spraying system on your property. They use a chemical that is not harmful to pets, humans or plant life. I am allergic to some mosquitos. We had this system installed several years ago and it is the most amazing thing in my backyard and I'm a Landscape Designer! Without this system I couldn't enjoy gardening, bbq'ing, or just sitting having a cup of coffee. We can even entertain and our friends are simply BEYOND IMPRESSED! In addition to the system, the customer service this company provides is the best there is out there. It is outstanding to receive next day service. They are attentive, knowledgeable and go out of their way to do a top notch job each time they visit my home. I've called to thank them for providing a service that is above ALL others in the customer service arena, but I just had them out again and I have to post how GREAT their service is. If shopping around for this type of system, please do not sacrifice price for the quality materials this company uses and the service they provide. I'm in a lot of backyards and I've seen other systems. Other's are more noticeable to the eye and the ones I've seen seem to clog and also the line they use discolors and is unsightly.
