Lots of points for convenience in the lobby of the Hotel Victoria. Also points for loyalty club options, like free drinks just for signing up! I came here with a group of friends on Friday night artound 9pm and luckily there was a gameday special (basically extended happy hour). They didn't match what was advertised their website, but not a huge deal. I started with house white $6 special. My friends ordered some mules and a local beer. For food, we had an assortment of flatbreads, salads, burgers, and poutine. I'm not a big fan of fries so I'm not the best job, but I thought these were tasty and had a good amount of toppings/gravy etc. I thought the flatbread was a little bland, so I only had a slice. My side caesar was a good portion size too. Service-wise, just a bit of room for improvement with attentiveness - our waitress disappeared for a couple of long stretches, even though it was just the four of us at the restaurant. I can see the appeal of this place to anyone actual staying in the hotel but I think I would check out other spots if I came back to the area again. @azfitfoodfun

Eggs Benedict in the front and Victoria breakfast in the back

We came here as a friend gave us a voucher that was expiring soon. The breakfast options are good. We ordered the Victoria breakfast and eggs Benedict. I liked the Victoria breakfast better. Eggs Benedict had a funny coconut oil smell. Maybe it's from the muffin but I wasn't a fan. Husband also said it's not the best eggs Benedict he had. The portions are generous. Their potatoes are very tasty and nicely seasoned. The bun on the Victoria breakfast was really good. Our server Misha was exceptional. Listens well, and attentive to our needs. The ambiance could use a serious uplift. It looks like an old school diner - including the furniture. Restrooms are downstairs but you can take the elevator to it. Overall a decent experience, not sure if it did enough to bring me back here.

The bar. Also has espresso drinks!

Great service! Sonam is an excellent waitress. Loved the putine with the chicken curry on top yesterday. Wow! Am having a burger tonight. The place is large and has a classic 1909 tile floor. Quiet at 6:41pm on a Monday as I write this. Will definitely come back.

Chocolate cake

I had the roasted chicken which was served with creamy mashed potatoes as well as a decadent layered chocolate cake. The chicken was moist and flavourful but the gravy made it irresistible. The chocolate cake was exactly how like it- moist, not overly sweet, and extremely chocolatey. Service was great and I enjoyed the vintage themed restaurant!

I saw this café on socials (it is a ~social~ house after all) and was charmed by its decor, so we paid a visit on a Saturday afternoon. I'm not sure I would call this a café, as it's really the lobby of Hotel Victoria, but it is lovely nonetheless. I learned that Hotel Victoria used to be called Hotel Mossop (after its owner) in the 1900s, and is one of the oldest buildings in downtown Toronto. That explains all of its stunning architecture. You can order at the bar and sip your coffee at one of the high tops or couch areas. It wasn't too busy, with most of the foot traffic being hotel guests going in and out, so we were able to spend a few hours getting some work done here. The café's menu is very standard - we got a latte and a flat white. The staff mentioned that they were hoping to get more flavouring syrups - I do think they'd benefit from a more diverse drink menu. Not sure about their food though! Overall, this is a beautiful place to spend a few hours, but don't have too high of expectations from their offerings.

This place had such a great vibe! It's definitely on the pricier side for just two girls grabbing a nightcap, but it was a fun and stylish way to end our evening. I tried the Queen's Tea, which was unique and delicious--plus, it packed a punch. My friend couldn't stop raving about her espresso martini. The ambiance was super chic, and it's a hotel too!

I was curious about this place after seeing it on Instagram. Walking on the hotel - The interior was adorable and a nice place to catch up with a group of friends. Parking is difficult as located close to Union Station. I visited for a weekday brunch and the service was okay and nothing spectacular. The food was great and definitely will come back here as I work close by and would be here to relax and have some coffee.

Food was really great, and atmosphere was nice. Some live music was playing which is always enjoyable. Friendly staff. Great cocktails

This cafe is small and while I was there it was definitely a tight squeeze. Where you order and where you pick up your drink isn't designed to allow for a good flow for customers, aside from that, I have no complaints. I ordered a latte and grabbed two goodies for the road, a raspberry croissant and a ginger molasses cookie. The staff working were welcoming and friendly and my items were ready rather quickly. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top. The cookie had the perfect amount of chew to it and the ginger on top added an extra burst of ginger. It was lovely. I'm so glad I found this cafe on Yelp and I highly suggest you pay them a visit. I'm still dreaming of all the pastries I didn't get to try.

I found my salmon cakes to be on the smaller side (they could have added a third) compared to the smoked salmon toast and even the BLT which were both HUGE. However, when i got off the elevator, there were 3 hosts at the stand, heads down or when their heads were up, they were talking to each other just total ignoring me. Dont even acknowledged me a tiny bit. I ended up just ignoring them back and walk in as my party was already here. I didnt exactly know where they were seated, ao i had to look around. Not the best experience. Food wise -- nothing on the menu stood out. But I wouldn't say we picked this spot for their food. Drinks were at best mid for the price. Could definitely get a nice fancy cocktail at that price point. Service was lacking, had to constantly look for our server. Table beside us was a couple whom were also not happy. But again, come for the views.

This place looks like a fairly typical breakfast spot, offering a good amount of seating, large menus for both breakfast and Lunch, and of course, a ton of different pancake options! I'm usually not someone who orders temporary menu items or specials, but the second I saw the S'More Toffee Lava Pancakes I almost had a heart attack, so of course, I ordered the stupid pancakes to avoid such an problem. The food didn't take too long to come out, and they looked even better in person than they did in the menu. Maybe I'm just a little over enthusiastic about these pancakes, but I can pretty confidently say these may of been the best pancakes I've ever had. They were big, fluffy, and this plate did not skimp on the toppings at all. Overall, Stacked Pancake & Breakfast has definitely become a go-to spot for me when returning to Toronto. The food here was phenomenal and even though it took us almost 30 minutes for someone to give us a bill and let us pay, the pancakes were too good for me to get hung up on that.
