This review is way past due. Mother Made Donuts makes the most amazing sandwiches and yes, donuts. My wife is a nurse and her coworkers love the #9 breakfast sandwich and ask for it when ever there's a function in which the staff brings food in to share. The sandwiches are so big that we have them cut in half to feed twice the amount of staff members. I recently had surgery at my wife's hospital, where she works and I wanted to thank them for the great care I received and the first thing they said they wanted was Mother Made sandwiches and donuts. They can't get enough of them. Thank you Mother Made for offering such an affordable menu of delicious sandwiches, donuts, ice cream and all around awesome customer service. I saw them featured on the news for Dodger donuts! Had to check them out!! The donuts exceed my expectations! We also had their glaze donuts, fresh and hot, they melt in your mouth!! I thought they are even better than Krispy Kreme glaze donuts.....and, they are bigger and cheaper too! The pecan bran muffin is to die for. You need to check them out if you've never been! 40th birthday party. I gave a 2 day notice and was very accommodated. More than enough leftover. I bought the candy toppings but other then that I gave the owners free reign And color scheme. Little place on a somewhat big street, in a not so busy area, yet this place gets plenty of action. Donuts... They label all their sandwiches as "Best in Town". And it's absolutely true! I've had almost every single sandwich in their menu and they all taste amazing. Also, you get an awesome deal. This place is the Bomb!! The jelly filled doughnuts are my favorite oh and the apple fritters. Yum yum yum. I have a new spot too get sandwiches and some boba tea that I love. Forgot my breakfast (usually a quick protein shake) so on my way to work decided I would stop by the nearest place on Lambert that was open. I saw this place and pulled in. THe parking is REALLY small so I can see that parking might be an issue. When I walk in I see probably 10 older fellows just lounging around eating donuts and drinking coffee so I like the cute "neighborhood" type of feel and I bet this place has a bunch of regulars. The asian lady asked me what I wanted and I told her the sugared twisty donut. Nothing special but was definitely not bad. I paid 85 cents for it so can't complain. Might be back in the future but wouldn't go out of my way to seek this place out. read more

You know it's good when you're going out of your way to write a review for a donut shop. My standard order has been a croissant and iced coffee for years. I've moved away, but every time I come in (maybe once a year) they still remember me! However the sandwiches are THE BEST ! I always get the pastrami sandwich ! They put there own twist on it and it's simply the tastiest sandwich ever ! this donut shop has become my home for donuts and to play the lotto every morning! it is one of your run of the mill asian owned donut shops but they are super nice here and will take care of you with a smile. they also have a lot better donuts than other run of the mill donut shops! fresh and good quality and cosmetically pleasing to the eye! my dad has been going here for years and said he has not found a better donut place and now i agree with him! the past two weeks i have started becoming a regular here and the ladies behind the counter know me now! 1 sugar twist, 1 crumb and a large reduced fat milk and some lotto picks or scratchers! another good thing is that it is always packed with retired adults hanging out and lots of people coming in and out! will continue to frequent this donut shop!! read more
