Location very accessible, found in downtown Athens with a super nice welcoming front entry. Service was quick and amazing, very family oriented. Super polite and served food fast. Now that I mention food, OMG delicious! Everything I tried was amazing. Place is small and cozy. They do have outside sitting and allow dogs in outdoor location. Bathrooms were clean too. Highly recommend this place for authentic Vietnamese food.

Food was good, customer service is good. We were out of town and wanted pho so we yelp it and wasn't disappointed.

    Lemongrass Tofu with Steamed Rice

I was in town for a conference this week. Decided to give this place a try because I was in the mood for some tofu and it was in walking distance of my hotel. I ordered the Lemongrass Tofu with Steamed Rice, which I quickly found out that was a mistake. There was maybe 5 pieces of tofu in this dish and I could barely taste any lemongrass in the dish. The steamed rice tasted as though it had been sitting all day. It was very hard and dry in most parts even when I tried putting some soy sauce on it. And this dish costs $14.50 which was incredibly overpriced for what I received. It was probably my mistake for ordering this dish considering that they are mostly likely better known for their Pho. The gentleman that took my order was friendly. And the inside of the restaurant looks like your typical take out restaurant. The outside seating is a little nicer.

Still a 5/5! Came back for my weekly/biweekly pick me up meal and got some shrimp summer rolls. I was coming off being sick and it's such a satisfying and restorative meal.

    Great patio seating!!!

I love Pho and this place did not disappoint!! We all agreed that their broth is very tasty! It has a rich star anis/cinnamon flavor. We got the spring shrimp roll appetizer and the satay chicken skewer. Good stuff. For entrees, we got one chicken Phó and one shrimp vegetable Phó.. I wish we got the Large! It was tasty!! The patio is perfect for an outdoor dining experience with a heaping side of fun people watching :-) We will definitely go back.

Mother Pho is a great lunch spot. I appreciate that you can get veggie pho. They make a solid Bahn mi and the lemongrass tofu rice bowl is really good (make sure to get both the sweet chili sauce and the yum yum sauce). The front patio is perfect on a nice day. They are extremely friendly. The only downside is the tapioca in the Thai iced tea was mushy.

The pho was not fresh and over cooked. The bean sprouts were not fresh and the leaves were black. Totally not worth the money.

Dirty floors equal a dirty kitchen equals unclean food! Expensive and overpriced! Better places to spend $11 for Mother Pho.

After almost 2 years of being a regular customer here (I only continue to go for group-shopping's sake), here are some of my observations. 1. The lady boss here is the meanest person I have encountered during my stay in the US. Not even in big cities like New York I find such rude people. I don't know how she survives in Athens, GA where they have very high standards for courteous and polite behavior. 2. This lady treats foreign students, on whom her business depends, like shit. I have observed this countless number of times. For example, the way the employees greet foreign students is significantly different from the way they welcome the others. It has been apparent that the employees are told to follow the students to see whether they steal. This is f***ed up! 3. While they accept Visa and Master for payments above $5, they always give a frustrated look when we try to pay something around $10 with card. If you have a problem, adjust your policy! 4. Mean-toned remarks at the counter are frequent. "Step aside", "Put what's in your hand on the table"...what's your problem? I kindly ask the local patrons to observe this disgusting manner this place treats its customers and do something within your capacity.

You can honestly never go wrong with brown sugar as a flavor. I also tried the passion fruit milk tea with star fruit jelly. Definitely a new favorite, I was reluctant to try a fruit milk flavor but it was surprisingly refreshing! The caramel Hokkaido black milk tea was super yummy too and more dessert-like. You can't go wrong with any flavor here! Prices and sizes are fair and workers are super sweet.

They have a super impressive menu with the usual bubble tea offerings, fruit teas, Yakult drinks, and shakes, but they also have baked goods like muffins and donuts and banh mi! Like the other Ding Teas, you can customize the drinks to however much percent sugar and ice you'd like. The drinks are definitely not consistent and it depends on who is making the drink but I've always gotten pretty decent drinks. I was really impressed with their banh mi. I got the special combination banh mi and it honestly was better than a lot of banh mi's that I've gotten in Atlanta. Prices are pretty steep, but I guess that's inflation. There's ample seating in the Ding Tea with booth style seating along the wall and bar seats along the window. Decor was very simple. There's a lot of supplies visibly out though that kind of makes it look tacky. Music was also kind of loud, so I'd probably recommend coming here more for a take-out kinda deal. Overall though, I'd definitely recommend Ding Tea as a decent bubble tea spot in Athens!
