Love the coffee - when it is made correctly it is hands down the best in town. When the formulation or proportions are correct, it makes you feel bionic!! That is why I am addicted- even though it has been hit or miss. The pastries, while sparse, are excellent. Sadly, their new space in not at all inviting. It is cavernous and cold both literally and figuratively speaking. The previous space felt busy, warm and intimate. Tables are not abundant. It feels like a work in progress - very much hope they will improve the ambiance and get back to consistency. Rainy day in Hudson. We're touristing and could smell the delicious scent of coffee from down the street. Followed our noses to THIS spot. The concept is neat and very modern, if that's your thing. Decaf coffee is mine, so I asked about options that wouldn't piss off my cardiologist. The batista said, "any of the espresso drinks." Cool. I can get behind a cappuccino. I ordered a regular Mocha for the Capn and a decaf Mocha for me. $10 and a several minutes later, he had a lukewarm, flavorless cup and I had a slightly chocolatey warm beverage. Note I didn't say coffee. That flavor was pretty absent. Sigh. Maybe this was just an off day? Based on the other reviews, folks seem to like it. I don't, however, joke around with my java. As a mountain biker and occasional dirt biker I feel I come by it honestly, so walking into a motorcycle shop-slash-café feels a little less silly than it might otherwise. The food was a touch above what I expected for a little espresso joint. They do lovely things with crumpets, waffles, and seasonal meats. My only complaint is that the ventilation is not super robust so the open-air counter kitchen gets smoky if you're dining in. read more

We came in as tourists. Pretty good breakfast. Okay coffee. Really cool concept. My partner is a coffee nut. We had the fun idea of treating Warren Street coffee adventures like a pub crawl. Hop coffee to coffee shop. We wandered in here for breakfast but the kitchen wasn't open yet. That's cool! We will talk a walk and be back in an hour. We also noticed that they use a roast from Texas or Tennessee?, and my partner was set on buying a Hudson Valley roast. So we wandered down the street, bought a pound of coffee from another shop and killed an hour until the kitchen opened. We came back in and the barista inquired about the pound of coffee beans he was holding. She made a passive aggressive remark that she had never tried that coffee but also that she didn't like it? Said we should have bought coffee from them instead. I did understand her sentiment slightly, but she also knew that we were in there an hour earlier and had gone out of our way to come back when the kitchen opened. Her attitude was palpable. She scoffed at a customer who had to grab her attention to order because she was distracted talking to her friend at the counter. She slammed the espresso cup around to convey her attitude. From a shambolic start this winter this coffee shop and motor cycle garage combined is really the only place in Hudson for the morning. Afternoon too if you want. I went in to get coffee this morning, usually I go to another place that I have become accustomed to going. But this morning I was Pleasantly surprised to find the best coffee in Hudson! I was so impressed that they have real maple syrup in place of sugar! That coupled with the fact that the young lady who served me named Lily was absolutely amazing. She was bright and cheerful and welcoming it was such a wonderful experience. The place had a faint sent of men's cologne together with a hint of motor oil.... it was such a unique shop I highly recommend going in and trying the coffee if you haven't been there yet! Moto is my favorite part of visiting Hudson. They serve and sell coffee selections from some really great small batch roasters, most recently 49th Parallel, alongside bean to bar chocolate, pastries and sweet and savory waffles. They also have some great lunch specials, all locally sourced. Their baristas are well-trained and the coffee proves that: strong, clean espresso coupled with beautiful latte art. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The shop has a great feel, a mix of vintage motorcycles and gear as decor with new gear for sale. There's even a workshop in the back where they wrench on bikes. Plenty of seating indoors and even some outside. And with free WiFi, there's no better spot to enjoy your coffee, get some work done, be inspired and eat some good food. Go support these guys and stay awhile. You'll be happy you did. read more

Their morning glory muffins were moist and delicious - full of raisins, carrots, walnuts, etc. My husband's coffee curdled when he put the half & half in. They said it was due to the acidity in the coffee. Think it was just time for a new half & half. They made him an americano instead. Nice flavor. My cappuccino was weak and more like a latte - too much milk and not enough foam. I really want to try their waffles. They sound fantastic. Really cool vibe in the place. Deceptively wonderful. Motorcycle themed storefront and gear inside gives impression that it might be just a biker hangout. It is not. My wife and I had one of the best lunches ever. Superb crunch berry waffles for her. I had a dish consisting of two poached eggs on a split challah roll covered by smoked salmon and tarragon cream and otherworldly tastes I could not identify. Really fun decor with the motorbikes and general auto theme. This is more of a place to grab your coffee and go, the seating is limited and it gets loud very quickly. They have really high quality coffee here, but if you're in need of something stronger, their cortados always do the trick. The service can be a little slow, especially during peak hours. read more

I know it's COVID-19 and restaurants are struggling to stay open. But we took a chance on this place as we're staying in the area and ran out of breakfast items to cook. This place has no website, the only reason we decided to try it was because of yelp and the pictures on here. At some point in the past they made waffles, I was really looking forward to a unique waffle. Currently they do not offer waffles, they have three things on their menu. What we got was listed as granola. I thought the counter person said it was a granola "roll", turns out she said bowl. Everybody nowadays is trying to be so chic with there menus and what they call things, hows this working out for you? I paid $7.50 each for 2 yogurt parfaits. Something you can get at a grocery store for $3. Admittedly the granola and yogurt were better than I expected, my sticker shock and utter disappointment initially are hard to set aside. Better than I expected, but not amazing not worth $7.50. I couldn't tell what kind of fruit was on the bottom, assuming mango but it had lost all flavor. Probably won't ever be back, not being from the area. Get a website, show some conviction to your business. read more

Not much to say here but this place has the best coffee in Hudson. It doubles as a vintage motorcycle shop which gives it a very cool vibe. The people that work behind the coffee counter are very friendly and down to earth. My only complaint about Moto is that their pastries are not great.
