I'm a sucker for Detroit-style pizza, and Moto is one of my favorite pizza places in Seattle. I discovered Moto Pizza at T-Mobile Park, but I've also been to the West Seattle and Belltown locations, and I've never had a bad experience - with the food or with the staff. For those unfamiliar with Detroit-style, the crust is a little deeper than a Pizza Hut pan pizza (for example), it's square (or rectangular), and cheese is baked into the outside of the crust. My go-to's at Moto are either the pepperoni or the Kiss'd. I think I like the variety of pepperoni, sausage, and hot honey drizzle on the Kiss'd, but sometimes I just need the comfort of straight pepperoni. If you're hungry for pizza at T-Mobile Park, this is soooooo much better than typical stadium food. Just be smart about when you choose to head to their window in the 300-section of right field. The line is inevitably long, so you may miss an inning (or two). I've definitely missed more than one home run standing in line. But when I dig into the pizza, I've decided it's worth it. read more

I've come up to the 3rd deck to try this pizza out twice and both times I felt the line was too long. I finally went with a buddy who said the line goes really fast. It does! Apparently they make a ton of pizzas in a different location and just keep them warm here where they sell them. I was skeptical, but it works! My pizza was excellent! Still warm and crispy. Kissd (4): the hype is real. Pizza was amazing. Spicy sausage wasn't too overpowering and it was the perfect size for the ballpark. I hate to admit it but I have been living under a rock when it comes to MOTO Pizza. I braved the long line and finally tried it for the first time a few days ago at their T-Mobile Stadium location while at a Mariners vs. Cubs game. I learned that the long line moves pretty quickly and that I have been missing out on this super amazing pizza which consists of a blend of Roman, Detroit, New York, and Filipino styles. The crust is airy with a delightfully crisp edge. I finally know what all the fuss it about and I am simply an obsessed fan now!!! I highly recommend the Kissd Pizza which is my favorite so far. Hands down the best pizza in T-Mobile park. This pizza is a mashup of styles. The crust is thick but it's not a crazy deep dish. The crust has a really nice crunch, the cheese is super thick, it's delicious. You only get two slices and it's extremely filling. The post that said it's sweet... that's bizarre don't listen to that. Do beware the line will be crazy long, I find it's best to let the game start and sneak out for a slice then because the line before the game starts is nuts. Also, across from the pizza kiosk on 300 level there is a moto soft serve stand! They have a bunch of flavors and some toppings too. My daughter did peach with fruity pebbles and I thought that was a great combo. I did pecan with Oreos and it was so good. They come in cute little mariners souvenir hats too! I have never visited MOTO Pizza in West Seattle, so I was excited to find them at T-Mobile Park. It is located on the 300 level, hidden away on one end. The line was so long, but it moved relatively fast for a pizza spot. I ordered the Kissd Pizza, which has pepperoni, spicy sausage, their Moto cheese blend, hot honey, red sauce, parmesan cheese, and oregano. There was only five pizza options, so the selection was a bit underwhelming. It made it easy to order for me at least. The pizza is good, definitely on the oil side though. I don't know if I would order it again given the size of the pizza to cost. read more

Mariners Game Food - Worth It. The line for Moto is ALWAYS long. An hour before the game all the way til the end of the game. I stood in the long line and was at the counter in about 10 minutes. I was sad the crab pizza was already sold out in the first inning. We got the pepperoni pizza and the Kissd Pizza and are a big fan of the crust. Overall, it's worth the $20 per pizza. This is a good option for vegetarians in the park. On the day I visited they had cheese or The Root. I opted for The Root even though I don't love mushrooms. It was tasty if not overly hot. There were just the right amount of toppings without detracting from the cheese and sauce ratio. The crust was soft but also had crisp, cheesey edges. I was a little worried the shape (a long rectangle) would not hold up to one handed munching but it actually was not too messy. Still, grab a handful of napkins for good measure. I will say that the portion was filling enough for me (it's about the amount of bread as a hoagie roll) but could be insufficient for someone with a larger appetite. Personally I saw that as more room for popcorn or ice cream or another treat. It was about $20 for the pizza and my eyes bugged out a little at my $52, before tip, bill for one pizza and two tallboys. But that's ball games for you. Side note: are we tipping someone who grabs a prepackaged pizza and two beers from a fridge for us? The line was long. It took about 15 minutes. I think the tradeoff was worth it. I grabbed an ice cream at the stand next door, which helped pass the time waiting. When that was done I caught up on my duolingo. read more

Located on the 300 level of the park. You want to arrive early in the game as their most popular choices will sell out. Enjoyed the root and kiss pizzas and they were worth the wait and definitely were worth the hype. The service is fast and friendly. I would suggest just taking all the toppings and not making any substitutions. I thought I was going to like the root pizza and only got the kiss pizza because their signature crab pizza was already sold out. The kiss pizza was the highlight of a great combo of sweet and savory with just a little bit of spice from the sausage. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. This may be a new tradition at the ballpark because it's that good. The other Seattle locations are usually very busy and this is definitely something unique to the Mariners baseball park. read more

With this MOTO being a vendor at T-Mobile Park, I didn't originally plan to review it, but since the business page exists, the Yelper in me has to leave some feedback. Regrettably, I didn't even capture a photo, so I'm solely relying on my memory as I type this. When the first MOTO location opened in West Seattle, customers had to place their pizza orders months in advance due to the hype. That said, it was no surprise that their stand had the longest line of any of the food vendors at the stadium. We joined the line around the 5th inning and by the time we got to the counter, two types of pizzas were already sold out. The wait was approximately 15 minutes, but it actually moved along pretty smoothly. KISSD PIZZA ($23 after tax): Pepperoni, spicy sausage, MOTO's cheese blend, hot honey, parmesan and oregano with red sauce. With any pizza, I personally prefer that the toppings be the focus, however with this one being Detroit-style, the crust was on the thicker end as expected. Although it was very bready, I did appreciate how it was soft with crispy edges. As for toppings, there was a reasonable amount, but between the sausage and hot honey, I actually did not detect much spice at all. The hot honey merely added a touch of sweetness, but barely any heat. I also felt this could have used a veggie topping like bell peppers or onions to diversify the texture. One order included two rectangular slices, which I found to be a heavy serving. As a first-timer, am I glad to have tried MOTO? Yes. But was it worth the price at the stadium? In my opinion, no. A large factor of my review comes down to the value. While the pizza was fine, I didn't think it was amazing enough to justify the cost. Granted, we were at the ballpark, so prices are naturally steep. However, if you're looking to try MOTO, I recommend visiting one of their other locations which offer a greater selection of pizzas at lower prices. read more

Got to the ballpark early and up on the third level spotted MOTO. Could this be the cult following pizza place I'd heard about?!? It sure was and we should have gotten in line right then. When we came back after the 2nd inning, the line was long, but totally worth the wait. We got the pepperoni and the kiss'd. The pizza is thick, full of toppings cheese and sauce. The ballpark at sunset was the perfect place to enjoy it. Compared to other food offerings the price was reasonable especially given the deliciousness of this pizza. Tummies we're super happy! We also got their strawberry cheesecake ice cream with butterfinger crumble while we were in line for pizza because dessert first and why not? Located in section 314, the line is a bit long, and if you order the Root or Kissd pizza, you're gonna have to wait in another line to get it. I got the Kissd and the hubs got the pep! I mean wow... This was not greasy, slightly sweet cheesy, crunchy crust, perfectly toasted pepperonis, super smoky sausage, and a lil sweet and spicy pizza sauce chef's I can't wait to try the Filipino Mr.Pig pizza when I can place the order! Such a popular booth at the park! We saw so many people on the 300 level with Moto Pizza boxes. Small menu but big flavor in all their pies. Deep dish goodness with unique toppings. We chose the root and pepperoni pizza. Each pizza has their own colored boxes and they're vibrant and bold! Love the packaging! Pretty pricey but worth it. My boyfriend loves pepperoni so he went with a classic staple. I got the root because I love balsamic glaze and I'm not a huge fan of meat on pizza! I am happy with our choices. My boyfriend, friends, and I have always wanted to try MOTO after seeing the hype. We went to a Mariner's game on a Tuesday and there was no wait when we went to order/pay. Then when we lined up for pick up, it went by pretty fast. The pizzas were about $18-19, but definitely filled us up. There were some people that were confused that MOTO was closed at first, since the first thing you see coming up the escalator is the MOTO cone stand. However, if you walk further in you'll see the actual MOTO pizza place. They had a smaller menu here compared to their other location. We really enjoyed their pizza, so we definitely need to try their other pizza selections at their other locations! Also, we got a chance to take a picture with the one and only owner of MOTO. :) KISSD - it was a yummy combination of pepperoni, spicy sausage, MOTO cheese blend, tomato sauce, and topped with spicy honey. I really enjoyed the hint of sweetness from the honey, but couldn't taste the spiciness (mainly since I have a higher spice tolerance). I still enjoyed it and just added more red pepper flakes for my pizza. If you want a little more of a kick or cheesy flavor, they provide red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese by their stand for free. ROOT - delicious mixture of mushroom, MOTO cheese blend, black olives, onion, tomato sauce, and balsamic glaze. After seeing the hype about this place on different sites, I knew I had to try it at my next mariners game. I am SO happy I did. There was no line to order and pay when I went, and about 20 people in line to pick up their food. You have to order and pay first and then get in to the line to pick up your food. Luckily it moved pretty quickly. I got the pepperoni pizza which was $17. It was a pretty good size and was enough to fill me up. Despite taking about 15 min to get back to my seat after getting my food, the pizza was still hot. The crust had crispy cheese and the perfect chew. I loved the dollops of sauce on top of the pizza. It was absolutely delicious and probably the best thing I've ever had at a ballpark. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. I would suggest skipping the 3+ month waiting list to get a pizza at one of their restaurants and just come here. You won't be disappointed. read more

Moto Pizza in West Seattle was DELICIOUS. Crispy edges, plenty of rich flavor and generous toppings. We got 1 pepperoni pizza and split it between the 2 of us because we wanted to try it first before splurging $40 + tax for 2 pizzas. Their pizzas are not big but it was flavor-packed and we were sufficiently satiated but not overstuffed which probably was a good thing. They also had really good soft serve ice cream. The chocolate soft serve is vanilla with swirls of chocolate sauce in it. At this location, there is only outdoor seating so prepare to go on a nice sunny day (with crowds) or do takeout. It's not fancy but it is delicious. I'm glad they opened a Belltown location as it will be more convenient for us. I heard the Belltown location has a few tables and chairs inside. We're looking forward to more Moto Pizza! read more

Really good and worth the wait! I enjoyed the Pepperoni pizza the most. The crust was a crispy with a super soft inside. I liked that the tomato sauce is put on top after it's baked so the crust wouldn't get soggy. The Kissd pizza was like a meat lovers. I thought it was gonna be spicy but I didn't taste that (more hot honey or spicier sausage would've been nice). They do supply red pepper flake and Parmesan packets. It was pretty salty though so make sure you get a drink! Last was the Root pizza. This one got pretty soggy so it didn't have that lovely crust, but they were heavy handed with the toppings. Had a lot of onions. Probably the most interesting in terms of flavor profile with the balsamic glaze. I liked the Root pizza least and took it home (gonna try and see if I can make the bottom crispy at home). Overall, a great way to try a Moto pizza without waiting forever on their list (which is probably still worth being on considering they have more kinds on their website). The wait was about 25 min to order and then another 10 min to pick up. Totally worth it so come early, and while waiting in line I heard a few people exclaim "this pizza is so good!" read more

The pizza was pretty good and really filling. I think the crust could have more of a crunch and with all the grease and honey was kinda soggy. The food came out right away so the service was pretty good. For the price I wouldn't get it again but I'm glad I tried it. The vender was cool and very bright. Meh! Don't believe the hype. There's good pizza with great ingredients and then there's over hyped pizza that was so dry and boring that we were left feeling ripped off. The Kssd wasnt even spicy. It just tasted like a normal pepperoni meat pizza on top of a thick foccacia crust. The tomato sauce was sweet without any distinct flavor. We needed pepper flakes to give it any sort of kick. I got the crab pizza and it was the most disappointing thing I had ever seen. It barely had any crab on it, to the point I didn't even want to take a picture for the price I just felt so ripped off. There was no sauce on the crust, just dry hard crusty cheese on it. It was so dry I had to beg for ranch from Ballard Pizza to try to eat it. Oh and one tiny sprig of dill. The 1 Star rating is for their Customer Service. Their Pizza is very good when you can get it most times they are out. This past week on Monday 9/25 got in line 4th inning and wasted 30 min in Line to be told at the counter that they only had pepperoni and root available no Kissd. On Friday 9/29 got in Line 5th inning and waited 35 min to be told at the counter they only had root available I went ahead a got it and it was cold so it must not be so popular. You would think that with all the games that week being close to selling out, they would stock accordingly for their popular pizzas. And if they do run out have a staff member walk down the LONG line and let people Know that they are out of certain pizza so we are not wasting our time waiting. Just sayin. read more
