I've been taking my bike to John for many years now. I trust him fully to make sure my bike is safe and sound. I highly recommend him.

Not only a liability that rarely runs and often leaves me stranded and from day one had a wobble no real builder would have allowed out the door. Both statements Kirk cant dispute because he's aware of the wobble and he's also picked me up twice on the side of the road. I spent 60k cash with Kirk on a FXR build. A build in which he chose to reuse old parts when he charged me for new and even worse had an open check book to get what was right. The bike Kirk built has essentially been torn down and built back up revealing mediocre work that most would call a hack job. Motor, trans and rear wheel way out of alignment. Brand new s&s motor leaks. Once opened up it reveals a caulking job of gasket sealer. Original motor mounts and rubber goods reused. Wheel bearing and neck bearings incorrectly installed or didn't have the knowledge of the correct size to install. The high end Italian calipers he had to have both leak, the wheels were chromed then dremelled out so the bearing would fit. Obviously this isn't the correct way to get an exact fit. This bikes never been over 70 mph safely due to the wobble and incorrect parts. The list goes on and on. I've reached out to Kirk through calls and text both not getting any ownership or support. Sadly this is one of many Kirk Taylor builds that's problematic. I understand growing pains with new builds but I don't get or accept hack work, cutting corners and reused parts from a 1990 Harley Davidson. I would have been good with accountability and ownership. This shop doesn't not possess that. Shitty to run Kirk like this but the reality is the product speaks volumes and all he had to do is communicate with me what he needed or a simple apology that he build me lawn art

I called the shop and was basically told it wasn't their fault, that my bike was already in poor condition, and to just try riding it home to see if the noise went away. When I got home I saw my chain was left super loose and sagging onto the swingarm, my front wheel bearing is now failing, and the axle nut on the front wheel was completely missing. None of these things were issues before I took it in. They've been dodging my calls ever since and won't do anything to help. Now I'm stuck with a bike I can't even ride. Super disappointing that a shop that seems professional can have such dangerous and incompetent oversight that could seriously hurt myself or others. stay away at all costs. Update: After 28 days of being gas lit at every moment they finally fixed their mistake. they did want me to pay for them to fix their mistake but after twisting their arm and not giving in they fixed it for free. I was accused of taking the nut off my bike myself and blamed for the problems they caused. highly unprofessional shop and honestly for your own sanity just go to another shop. Im done with these people. no accountability. 0/10

Shops in San Francisco quoted me over $5,000 and required a special order. When I called Mack 1, the sales team informed me that Husqvarna owns KTM and that the bike I was seeking, the KTM SXE2, was in stock and identical to the EE 2. Not only did they have it available, but it was also much cheaper than what was quoted in San Francisco. I drove to Vallejo, which took just 30 minutes, and quickly returned home with the bike. Although the dealership isn't fancy and requires a bit of a drive, the fair pricing and the friendly, down-to-earth staff made the experience exceptional. I will definitely return to this dealership for my future bike needs.

Up to recently I sold my CTX-1300 to them as I didn't need the bike to commute anymore and, yet again, super simple and no pressure situation. They offered a fair price. Perfectly explained my options on if I were to sell it private party what I could ask for and also finished by saying I had time to think about it as the offer was good for a few days (forgot exactly, maybe a week I'm not sure). I've had a couple bikes serviced from them as well and, same - easy and low pressure. There's been plenty other examples of extra gestures that sets them apart from just a motorcycle dealer/shop to a well operated welcoming place you know you're not getting screwed over which is what Mach 1 is - purely top notch Next bike I buy I will be stopping into Mach 1 before anywhere else, without question.

After riding for a few weeks, I noticed my forks were leaking oil, so I took it to Nor Cal Cycles for a repair. From the moment I walked in, Alfie greeted me and made me feel welcomed. He took the time to listen to my concerns and scheduled an appointment for me to drop off my bike. About a week later, Alfie reached out with some honest recommendations, including changing my tires which I happily agreed to. His honesty and kindness are truly refreshing in today's world. Where finding folks who take pride in what they do a bit tough. Alfie also shared with me additional advice about my bike once I came to pick it up, which was great. A huge thank you to the entire Nor Cal crew, and especially to Alfie for making this experience so smooth. I'll definitely be returning!

Nini at the front desk was absolutely perfect for the job imo: compassionate, reassuring, and exactly what a first-timer needs before throwing a leg over a bike for the first time for real. Freddie and Henry were great too, really easy dudes to talk to and very helpful with sharing tips and other pointers for me. I'll be honest, I dropped the bike an equal number of times on both sides over the weekend, all at zero mph (embarassing af). Symmetrically bruised ego, perfectly balanced. Returning it felt intimidating, but the whole team handled it with zero judgment and genuine professionalism. I didn't try to hide anything and they made the whole process painless, albeit with some monetary penalties caused by my inexperience (I own up to this though). I'm leaving with my wallet lighter but with my heart genuinely fuller for the experience. The environment this shop creates for nervous beginners like me is genuinely rare, and it made me feel supported and motivated to come back and do better next time. Will absolutely be back for my next rental and keep getting ride time in, because real experience gained like I did is priceless. The human element of the shop is just cherry on top, and makes me feel good I'm supporting a local business. Shoutout to Nini, Freddie, and Henry. You made a squid feel welcome.
