my name is richard, and i must say that motorcycle gallery is by far the best motorcycle shop around in socal. i bought my bike there and they have done nothing but help me and make sure that i have everything needed to exceed my expectations, in a ride, in my ride, and making sure that when i went for a ride, everything would be in tip top shape. i recently got my tires changed on there and bought a helmet for my girl. all for a really low price. competitive pricing, outstanding service. mitch the owner even gets involved, unlike other shops around oceanside, where the owner will own a shop, just to say that they own one. the other night i went down there to get my brake pads changed out, new ebc brake pads. and lemme tell you, i saw mitch out there modifying a seat and fabricating a seat cover. never have i seen the owner out and about working on anything. thats how i know that this shop is the shop to go. both mikey and little mikey have helped me a lot. little mikey did a clutch adjustment, cuz me and my dumbself... hahaha.... when i was doing a rolling burnout i didnt realize i was riding my clutch more than i was my throttle. so it slipped my clutch. but yeah, mikey ended up doing that adjustment for just a cheap laboring fee. that actually, in fact, happened today, i dont really write reviews, but damn, i just had to write one for these outstanding guys. joel changed my tires, and he is the one that took the time to inspect my bike and make sure that everything was a-ok. MOTORCYCLE Gallery is definitely the spot that i go to, for any maintenance and parts shop. don't listen to all the other people that are saying that this shop is a bad place, that they will screw you over, because in the end, they are the ones that will make sure you have everything and anything you need. they are the ones that will help you in any way means possible. I purchased a very nice looking 06 laser blue Mini Clubman S with about 65000 miles on it. On my way home from the dealership I lost compression in number three cylinder. The following day I towed it part way back to Oceanside unfortunately I had a distributor malfunction in my truck. Mitch did agree to come the rest of the way to pick up the car and he did give me a loaner. They took the car and rebuilt the head on it and got it back to me about two weeks later. It was raining when i picked the car up so I did not get to do as thorough of a check as I would have liked to and it was kind of dark. The following morning I checked the oil and found metal flake on the dip stick. I took the car to the auto hobby shop on base and dropped the oil and found an abundance of metal fragmentation in the bottom of the catch pan as well as about a quart worth of gasoline contamination. The reason I was confident that the engine will need a total tear down and rebuild very soon and I would never trust the car. I took it back to the dealership and returned the car the next day so I had the car in possession for about three days out of about a month of ownership. I explained the situation to Mitch and he reluctantly took the car back, said I wasn't being fair and that I should give it another chance I said no I don't need a round three to call a lemon a lemon. It cost me about 600 out of pocket to get out of the car deal since I didn't sign the return agreement. I am Not sure if he just thought I was strapped for cash or just plain lying, I don't really care. I got a newer lower mileage car from mini of San Diego which i should have done in the first place, it would of saved a month of stress and wasted time. read more

Bought a 2012 R6 from Mitch. Overall had a great experience. Found them on CycleTrader while looking at R6's in California (I live in the Bay Area). Was originally looking at a beautiful 2009 but when I called him they had already sold it. He mentioned they had a 2012 with very low mileage, and for no additional cost would swap out the fairings, gas tank, etc to make it look like the 2009 I had admired. It seems they do a lot of swapping and their bikes therefore are somewhat of a custom hodgepodge that end up with very cool color combos, in this case way better than stock. Me referred me to a shipping company which was too busy to get the bike to NorCal in a decent time, so he offered to match their price and drive it up himself! I couldn't believe it. Sure enough I get a text with the sales contract and the progress pics as he swapped out the parts on the bike. The next day I get a text that he was on his way from SoCal- unbelievable. He and his family arrived with the bike in tow- a gorgeous black & white R6, just as clean as the photos indicated and a full tank of gas. The next day I scratched the bike (newbie!!!), texted Mitch and he offered to fix it if I shipped him the part. Could not have had an easier transaction or better experience!! read more

I was shopping for a used car nothing specific until I came across a BMW 528I Navy Blue exterior. The photos of the car are a true representation of the actual car. I really wasn't sure what to make if a company called Motorcycle Gallery selling cars. When I spoke with Mitch the owner on the phone he was kind and he answered all of my questions. Motorcycle Gallery is located in Oceanside and I live in Pacific Beach. The distance was a huge consideration because I didn't have transportation. I would needed to Uber to him which was about a $60-$70 fare. Mitch offered to meet me in Encinitas and then I could drive back up to Oceanside as a test drive and fill out the paperwork if I wanted to purchase the vehicle. This proved to me that Mitch was pretty confident in the condition of the vehicle. I ended up meeting Mitch at his location in Oceanside. When I saw the vehicle it was as advertised. Very clean car. We drove to the bank and back to his office to fill out the paperwork. The entire experience was easy and I was very pleased with my purchase. Convertible Audi's in great condition are harder to find but Mitch has an eye for good cars and that is what he offers. I am very thankful for a business that is willing to help out those serving our country!! Our son is a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton. He wanted his motorcycle to be shipped from home (Michigan) to the base. Due to being active duty, it is highly unlikely that he would be available to receive the bike when the driver calls to deliver it. Found one on Mitch's lot and after a few emails and phone calls I ended up in Oceanside to see it in person. (2 hour drive) My wife and I test drove the vehicle and purchased it.
