One star is too good for this place. I have been riding and competing on motorcycles for more years and in more countries around the world than I care to remember, but I have to tell you Motorcycle Mall is the worst run workshop I have ever encountered. Before you choose your next bike and where to get it serviced, take a few moments to consider where to place your business. I bought my Kawasaki Ninja 1000 brand new from Motorcycle Mall, so I took it to them for a standard service, it took them two days before the workshop looked at the bike, which was when they first realized they didn't keep the required shims and gaskets in stock and it would take five days to get them delivered. OK so I lost a week, for what should be a less than one-day job, I was not happy but I can live with that. A week passes no response so I call again to be told the parts are on order and the bike will be ready soon. This excuse goes on into the THIRD WEEK. I keep calling their workshop, but they keep stalling, saying the parts are in but the workshop is extremely busy. At the end of the THIRD WEEK I call to be told they ordered the wrong parts and they have the correct part on order and it will be ready next week. After FIVE WEEKS and two days the work had still not been completed. I loose my patience and lodge a formal complaint to Kawasaki USA Head Office. Miraculously the bike is in the workshop and the job was finished the same day. The cost for this standard service $719.58 I complained to Motorcycle Mall's Head of Workshop about the appalling customer service I had received and asked could they reduce the bill as a goodwill gesture in light of their mistakes, they generously gave me a whole $23.77 discount (note my sarcastic tone here) reducing my bill very slightly for the FIVE WEEKS AND TWO DAYS it took them to complete a standard service. Things Motorcycle Mall could have done better. 1. Realized immediately they would need parts to complete a standard service and communicate that when I dropped off the bike, they didn't. 2. They could have arranged quick delivery of the required parts from Kawasaki, as they were the ones who mistakenly ordered the wrong parts, they didn't. 3. Knowing my bike was not going to be ready when they said, offered me a loaner bike, they didn't. 4. Once they missed the promised delivery deadline they should have prioritized the work on my bike, they didn't. 5. Having messed up so badly they could have offered a fair discount on the parts, I have been involved in the motorcycle industry for a very long time and a dealer who is serious about good customer service would do this, they didn't. 6. I was so unhappy about my treatment I requested to speak to the store Manager, I spoke to John, he actually laughed in my face over my complaints. He blamed Kawasaki for not having parts, and even blaming customers for wanting their bikes serviced, clogging up his workshop. In fact he blamed everyone but his poor organization. Well John I can help alleviate part of your problems, because this is one more customer who will never darken your doors again. read more

Bought a bike brand new from motorcycle mall 3 months ago, since then I have had to drive over an hour to renew my temporary plate not once but twice! The customer service end is absolutely no help when it comes to where my plates are. I have one woman tell me they were sent out over a week ago and then another woman calls days later to tell me she just received them and is holding them in her hand!! Needless to say I am STILL waiting on my plates! Call them today AGAIN after being given a FedEx tracking number (which is non-existent) to find out that it's being shipped UPS and has still not been picked up. Really tired of this place, and will be speaking to a manager about this "convenience fee" they charged me. read more

I purchased a brand new jet ski with trailer from this place but they gave me the wrong trailer for the jet ski and I've gone to Motorcycle Mall two times, they give me the runaround and now they refuse to give me the right trailer unless I purchase it. They knew that they gave me the wrong trailer and now they tell me to trade in my trailer and pay the difference of $500. I think if the sales man knew that they didn't have the right trailer in, I would've been more satisfy if he would of told me to wait a few days until their shipment came in so that he can give me the right trailer. Now this is only aimed at the Service Department, so I will be rating only them. I never have had a reason to make a bad review to any shop in my life, but Motorcycle Mall...congratulations! You're my first. My goodness are these people incredibly incompetent. I had an accident with my motorcycle and took it to these guys (have mercy on my soul). So many people told me to stay away from them, but they were nearby, so I decided to give them a chance, because I saw a lot of "good" reviews for them. Wow was I completely wrong. I fell off my bike and it was a minor motorcycle accident, but the paint was scratched off, and I needed a new mirror along with front brake levers....this cost me nearly $1000. WTF? This place is way too expensive. Almost $1000 and they didn't even want to paint the bike and they didn't. They didn't even sell me the OEM mirror. It looks nothing alike. You can't make this stuff up. My camshaft was also grinding, but they didn't bother fixing that either nor they even mentioned that to me. Another shop had to tell me. It was unbelievable. Not to mention that it took me a month to get this bike back. This was a terrible experience. Save your money PLEASE. Don't make the same mistake I did. Don't go to these dealerships. They're almost completely clueless. Don't waste your time, and go to small shops who know about motorcycles and will fix it at a much cheaper price. IMO the best place for us people who live in Northern NJ is over at American Motorcycle in Paterson. Again this review is only to the service department. The last time I ever set foot in that place. So it was finally time for a new motorcycle after my previous one broke down for the last time so I decided after much research on what I wanted to go the place that was closest to me. I walk in and its a really huge space with a lot of different bikes from all different manufacturers like Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, Moto Guzzi, etc. 1st floor is all road bikes and second floor seems to be dirt bikes which was blocked unless you had a sales associate with you. Theres alot of different bikes and they sell gear but I wasn't really interested in that. I walked over and asked for a sales associate and I was helped by Moses. He was generally nice and I could tell was helpful but I kinda had a feeling he was new. I ended up buying a left over Honda CB500x with 0 miles for a pretty great deal and they were pretty quick on getting things rolling. Don't get the extended warranty when they offer it I don't think you will need it to be honest and its not worth it. I took off a star because they didn't allow test rides and when I got my bike it was still wet and not completely dried off from prep and hopefully nothing was forgotten. I generally had an OK buying experience just always read what you sign and make sure you research and make sure you have your price in your head. read more

Bought my 2014 M109R BOSS from Drew. Guys very straight forward and cut to the chase when I told him the competitions best price. He beat it by $500!! Not only did he get me a great deal but he also kept me updated on all aspects of the transaction. I paid cash so the entire process took a little over an hour. This place gets a lot of unwarranted negative reviews. Ppl it's a dealership. They're in business to make $, it's your job to research what the bottom dollar is they're willing to make a profit on. I will say there are some sales ppl that need some re training on how to broker a deal and actually KNOW the product they're selling. It's pretty embarrassing to get corrected by a customer on the correct model designation of a bike when your supposed to be selling it. read more

I own a 2018 Indian chief motorcycle, on december 2019 i contacted motorcycle mall because my motorcycle had a few open recalls, motorcycle mall picked up my motorcycle on december 2019 took care of all recalls and delivered my motorcycle on February 2020, I declined delivery because noticed that my motorcycle had a scratch on front fender, my motorcycle only had 100 miles when it went to motorcycle mall and got my motorcycle with 126 miles on the motorcycle, the motorcycle went back to the dealer to repair paint the front fender, I got my motorcycle back on April 20,2020 I couldn't inspect my motorcycle all the way because of the virus covid-19 thats in the air and I can't afford to get sick, but once I had the opportunity to inspect my motorcycle I noticed that the paint job on fender was a sloppy job the fender wasn't sanded or buffed the right way, you can feel the fender is rough, also noticed that the front emblem on fender has a chip on it and noticed that the right hand housing to muffler has a scratch, I called the dealer and spoke to Tyler and Tyler told me that I had accept the bike and that was that, I bought this bike brand new and trusted motorcycle mall to handle my motorcycle with care now my motorcycle has damages, I will be taking legal action against dealer worst of the worst dealer and customer care read more

Worst service. Very disorganized. All sales people are busy tipping everybody off instead of helping everybody out. They will make you wait as if they own your time and after waiting 3 hours waiting they told me my atv wouldn't be ready because they put the parts on wrong and it will be ready the next day. Bought my first motorcycle from Motorcycle Mall. It was a pleasant and smooth experience in terms of purchase. The sales rep, Kim, was really helpful and informative throughout the process. Faced some issues with financing by the Honda guys but she was very accommodating in making sure I know about the progress. Although I ended up paying all cash. Except the finance part, the motorcycle was ready pretty quickly for me to take out. I found the collection of motorcycles and accessories pretty good. All in all, I had a great buying experience. Dealt with a Michael who sits to the right of the entrance where you enter to go in. I had the funds to purchase but just wanted to try financing instead of dropping 12 grand. Apparently, there was a mix up on my credit with my brother who has the same name as me, and our social security is off by one digit. Stay away, they wont call you back if you get denied. I text the salesman to get a respond about getting a printout so I can take to another dealer so the could price match, he act as though he never saw my text when he replied to previous texts. I should have read all the bad reviews before I even went there. Well end up going to my dad in northern Virginia and got the same 2019 Suzuki gsx r 600 bike from Motorcycle Factory in my old hometown in Woodbridge Va, not just for cheaper, but paid cash and didn't mind traveling 250 miles and 4 and half hours to get the bike I wanted. I would leave a 0 star if possible. NEVER GET YOUR BIKE TUNED AND DYNO AT MOTORCYCLE MALL!!!!. I had an appointment at 10am on 08/20/2020. I arrived at 945am to find out I will be the first bike they will tune for the day. At the service desk, the representative told me the tune will take up to 4 hours. They like to take their time and get everything correct. He took my bike into the shop. It's now around 1030am, I left to get food when I returned around 1120am a technician took my bike into the DYNO room. He didn't say a word to me or ask me anything. He did the flash and just hopped on my bike and did a test run. He didn't explain anything to me to walk me thru what he has done or even said a word to me. When he came back he did everything to avoid talking to me. This was around 1120am. He did 4 DYNO runs! When I called other shops and I explained what happen all 5 shops told me to go back and request a refund. All he did was put an over the shelf map and didn't fine-tune to how I wanted. After the 4 dyno runs, I went outside for a smoke and came back to him being done. Now if I only wanted him to fix the air/ fuel ratio I would have got a power commander. I PAID for a flash tune which allows the tuner to configure the ECU to my liking. He never once asked if I wanted my fan to turn on at a lower temperature, he never asked if I wanted to change engine breaking, my gears if I am prepping for a track day. Nothing! When I ask how much HP was made, he gave me a low number and said something is wrong with my bike but couldn't tell me what was wrong. I have a 2012 r6 with 1200 miles. I didn't ride it for a while due to having a child but the bike is in mint condition. When I called to complain and see what can be done. All I was told was to come back and talk to him and then schedule a day to retune if need be. I don't live around the block from there and riding back and forth just to talk is unacceptable. The customer service there from the tuner is TERRIBLE. The tuner's name is Ricardo. I paid $450 for the DYNO and flash and feel like I've been played. I left out, in the beginning, he asked me why I lowered my bike and I responded with it is my first bike and it is tall for me. After that, I feel he took advantage of me for it being my first bike he assumed I have no knowledge and did a full tune and dyno in an hour and a half. Was very interested in getting a Victory Motorcycle (either the Octane or the High Ball) from this place as there are no other dealers close to me. That is, until I walked around for literally 20-25 minutes looking at bikes and had no one approach me or even greet me. Customer service here is a joke. Theres a reason why their reviews are bad and their GM runs around on here like a kid, never taking the blame for anything. Its always someone elses fault with these people, it seems. I'm not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from, everyone has been a bit unorganized during the pandemic, especially businesses and it's disheartening to see people tearing each other apart on here. Anyways, the motorcycle mall team certainly has their act together now. I own a 2016 Piaggio and have had a hard time fixing it in the past. The last spot I tried took over two months to return it to me and provided no updates on the status! Outrageous! Motorcycle mall was able to pick-up the SAME DAY I called & had my bike fixed and returned to me within two weeks - they also kept me updated every step of the way regarding repairs. Charlie was super thoughtful & knowledgeable to speak with over the phone. Bobby R was the absolute best driver - he kept me informed along the way regarding updates for the delivery of my scooter - he was extremely courteous & friendly on the job, he really stole the show! I brought in my first bike for service when it started smoking on me. 4 months later, I went in and fought to have my bike returned to me. They never even looked at it. Brought the bike to Circle Cycle, best place ever, and had the bike back in 30 mins. Turns out a air vent clip came loose. I lost that whole summer because of Motorcycle Mall. Second bike broke a block away from the dealership as I was bringing it home the day I bought it. Didn't even bother going back. Took it again to Circle Cycle. STAY AWAY. read more

Worst experience ever if I could rate a zero I would. . I decided to buy my first motorcycle September 4,2019. After shopping around and reading reviews I decided to buy from this place. What a terrible mistake. My salesman which I'll be nice and not name, was nice but I quickly learned that he was very disorganized and had no clue what was going on. On the day I was supposed to go sign the paperwork and drop off the money for the bike I was told by my salesman to show up around 12. So I showed up at 12 and when I got there he tells me it got really busy all of a sudden but he will be with me as soon as possible. Over an hour goes by and he finally comes up to me and tells me it's going to be a little longer so why don't you go get lunch and come back, so I did. While I'm having lunch he calls me and tells me he is ready and asks me how long until I can get back to the dealer. I tell him 15 minutes which he replies ok perfect. When I get back I sat around for another hour or so waiting to sign the paperwork. On October 16th I get a phone call from an employee advising me my salesman no longer works there but he will be happy to help me with anything. I advised him that my temporary registration had expired on OCTOBER 3RD and I still haven't received a phone call advising me that my plates were in. He replies I'll look into that and call you back. On Friday October 18th I still had not received a phone call so I called back. This time I spoke with a new person. After 20 minutes being on hold she tells me that they are not in yet but they should be in Tuesday if not "definitely Wednesday." Well, Thursday OCTOBER 24th, I still didn't receive a phone call so I went to the dealership to speak with someone. The lady I spoke with says, oh yeah I'm the one that you spoke with on the phone, let me check. After 30 minutes of her "checking" she comes back and says oh, the person that handles the license plates is at the DMV right now so she probably went to go pick your plates up so I'll call you as soon as she gets back. So of course I do not get a phone call, so on Friday OCTOBER 25th, I call back to check on the plates and guess what... they are not in yet. The lady gives me the same excuse that the person that handles the license plates is not in but she will call me back. I request to speak to a manager and she replies with an attitude "which one." I tell her either the sales manager or General Manger. After another 10 minutes of being on hold she tells me that they are in a meeting but they'll call me back. This place is such a joke and has terrible customer service all they cared about was getting my cash. Maybe I'll get my plates and title for my bike which I purchased in CASH just in time for the next riding season but we'll see read more

Top ten reasons to not use MM for anything let alone servicing your bike: 1. Terrible customer service. Awful. See point 9. 2. They lie to you. While you are there and over the phone 3. They are over priced 4. They will keep your bike forever. And then lie to you about its status. 5. When you go pick it up, it will not be ready. And they will lie to you (did I mention that already?). They will make you wait for hours. 6. They will not service your bike properly. In fact, the will likely return it with other problems they create. 7. It will not be safe to ride when you pick it up. Think about getting your bike and finding out they didn't pressurize the brakes. Or return it with low tire pressure. Or worse. Lived it. 8. They will not have the parts in stock. But they will tell you they do. 9. They will treat you like you're inconveniencing them. Or ignore you. Or put you on hold and then disconnect you. 10. They will not care about any of the above. Ever. Even when told. Hence why I am selling a very nice moto guzzi, I simply can't trust or bear to use them anymore. They are that bad. read more

She had nothing but great things to say about the staff through the entire process. Moses who I spoke to personally over the phone a few times was more then helpful with any question I sent his way, Jeff, who delivered the bike actually stood in the rain and went over every inch of the bike with me, explaining every detail and answering all of my questions, again, outside, in the rain. Appreciate you man. Genienne, didnt meet her personally. Heard she was so much more than helpful, and from what I've experienced personally from MM I have no reason to doubt it. Came in to look at a bike and was assisted by a friendly salesman. He walked away to get the numbers on a bike I was looking at and 2 other salesmen(that saw him helping me) still tried to assist me. I applied for financing(I'm 19 and wanted to purchase the bike on my own, without a consigner). I was contacted a week ago asking for a picture of my license and my credit card and was told I would have an answer as to if I was approved for financing by the end of the day. I received a call about 45 mins later from Kim asking me a few questions and she told me she would reach out to me in a few minutes, and never did. It's a week later and I have yet to receive an answer. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I purchased my 3rd new jet ski here about 6 weeks ago , check engine light came on and ski was drifting to right side when bars were straight . I guess check engine could have been a fluke they said nothing showed up in history, no big deal , it did go out on its own before hand . BUT apparently the ski is fine , no steering issues !! Total BS , Many people have had same issue with this and it is trial and error to get it adjusted properly, but they want that to be on my dime , NOT HAPPENING !!! I'll end up fixing it myself , maybe the owner will get tired of loosing customers, who knows maybe they will find Jimmy Hoffa !!! Buy your toys from another dealer !!! DONT BUY PARTS OR HAVE YOUR BIKE SERVICED HERE!!! They sold me a gas cap for my bike that was the wrong cap, it did not have a pressure release valve in it so when the temp outside dropped to the 30s the air in the tank shrank and caved in my fuel tank!!! I had to contact the manufacturer to force them to replace the tank!!! I rode the bike home and it bucked a bit but seemed like it stopped by the time i got home but the very next time i went to ride the bike it would not go over 20 MPH and seemed to be starving for fuel. I contacted Motorcycle Mall and was told to fuck off and they were not going to fix it! If you are smart you will not do business with Motorcycle mall! read more

So I literally just step into the door after making the 1 hour and 15 minute drive back home to Upstate NY from the Motorcycle Mall and I must say during the whole trip while driving I did not have one regret. I never questioned if I made the right decision. I wasn't mistreated or neglected. And when it came down to doing the paper work and going over my options, I felt comfortable. The point I'm trying to make is that from a first impression, I didn't sense any bad vibes. Kim, the sales associate helping me, was pleasant and answered all my questions promptly. I've given MM a three star rating simply because I have yet to explore and experience their other services. If what I experience so far is any indication, I think it's safe to say that everything else should be fine; but thus far I'm happy. Once I receive the whole Motorcycle Mall experience I will return and give a higher score. As of this date I bought a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 SE. Oh, and dare I forget to mention I've been looking for a bike since before the winter and they had the best sale I have ever seen! read more

You are just in awe when you walk into this MASSIVE show room with everything from motorcycles to snow mobiles. My sales associate Kim was fantastic, she took the time to show me all my options and even stayed late to get all my paper work done. If anyone needs any type of machine i 100% suggest going to Motorcycle Mall and ask for Kim!! She will not lead you wrong! read more

I've revised this post because I just found my original paperwork: One star is one star too many for this clip joint. Years ago I had a Moto Guzzi in their repair shop in total for MORE THAN A YEAR. Totally incompetent mechanic named Larry Riley. He specialized, it turned out, in fixing scooters, like Vespas. He didn't know jack about MGs, despite what he and the shop service managers Joe Scarantino, Frank Lopez and Steve Colluci told me. The first time I brought it in for a transmission problem, Larry said it needed a clutch rebuild, a job that took him FIVE MONTHS, Scarantino telling me again and again the parts hadn't come in, or Larry was working on another bike. Finally they charged me over $1600 and returned it without the problem fixed. I brought it in again (foolishly), Larry determined that the problem was the transmission, which needed a rebuild, and later claimed that the brakes also needed work. ELEVEN MONTHS later, after calling them constantly, they said they finished the bike, charged me $2000 and it came back to me a mess. I found that they had ordered and installed parts that were not needed, and the motorcycle performed poorly, backfiring and stalling. And sure enough, within a week it threw a pushrod. During the entire time my bike was held there, the service department, though polite, stonewalled and promised to get my motorcycle done but did not deliver until I badgered them into releasing the bike. If I did not call them constantly, and buy parts myself, and find other resources such as Works Engineering in Brooklyn (a great shop), my bike probably would've sat there months longer, ignored while other jobs took "priority." I tried to sue the owner John Resciniti in Belleville small claims court, but somehow, mysteriously the case was thrown out without a hearing. Thank god consumers now have YELP to voice our complaints on clip joints like this one. Colluci, Scarantino, Lopez and Riley may not be there today, but the fact that they even had them there, and allowed them to operate this way is way beyond SAD. It's a DISASTER. Ah what is there to say... so much you have no idea but I'll keep it brief, I stumbled across this dealership because of an internet search found a bike I wanted for a price I was willing to pay, bearing in mind it's a hundred mile trip for me to get to this place. the staff isn't qualified to do much of anything let alone make a deal on a bike it's all "I have to crunch the numbers and let me check with the owners", when and if you decide to give this place your money they'll do anything they can to sour you on the idea of doing business with them. They lost my sale $8k on an aprilia shiver and they lost my friends sale on an '11 motoguzzi V7 classic $10k all because of their terrible service and inability to even give a solid price and take a deposit. we both bought our bikes elsewhere with no bullshit no condescending we're doing you a favor nonsense. It seems like most employees in this place have no sense of customer service. I brought my bike in, and I stood around at the service desk for about 10 minutes before anyone said a word to me. Finally, when someone did speak to me I was told to go over to the parts department to see if they had my tires in stock. Again, I stood at the parts service desk for at least 10 minutes without anyone saying a word to me. Finally I attempted to ask an employee at the desk if I was in the right spot to be helped, and got completely ignored. I looked to another employee and finally was helped. In addition to getting new tires put on, I requested that they clean and lubed the chain, and replace the valve stems for the tires. That was two days ago. I was told yesterday, that my bike would be finished today. I was able to give up a shift at work, and I proceeded to the Motorcycle Mall. When I got there all that was done was my tires, and not the chain cleaned and lubed, and no new valve stem. Now I know they DO NOT have value in their work. The chain was lubed, but filthy. The Valve stem was never changed, all bikers know how important it is to have it changed (can crack) . I will never go back to them for any service ever again. I'd rather go out of my way to some place different. Not to mention they're highly overpriced! Hope this helps someone with their decision go there. read more

I am not one to write bad reviews as when I am unsatisfied, I just take my business elsewhere so this is more of Public Service Announcement. I recently purchased a new bike from them and the entire process was painful. My wife and I waited at least an hour just to sit down and begin the process. I knew what I wanted and didn't even bother to haggle on the price. Bought the bike and exhaust along with other accessories as part of the deal. Not only did it take almost 3 weeks for readily available parts to come in, they charged me labor just to plug the diagnostics tool to activate one of the features of my bike. EVERYWHERE else that I have purchased an automobile/motorcycle, this wouldn't have happened. This is my 8th motorcycle purchase and have never experienced anything this bad. These guys don't believe in building relationships with customers and just want your money. Sad, very sad. Don't believe the reviews on Google and check them out on Yelp, where they have more accurate reviews. read more
