Amazing service! I was on the fence about buying a used car that showed an accident on the car fax, but the dealership repaired it to like new condition. At the last minute, the night before, I decided to hire Motovise to meet me at the dealership in the morning to inspect the car before I purchased it. The tech assigned to my car called me to confirm the time and was nice enough to rearrange his schedule so I could get the car inspected before I purchased the car. I was already approved for financing so I was scheduled to sign the papers and drive off the lot that morning. When I arrived at the dealership the tech was already there doing his thing and I got to meet him and get his feed back in person. He was super cool and honest. Plus he had a ton of years experience working as a tech for GM (I believe that was the company he mentioned, but it was a major car manufacturer either way.) Thankfully the car passed with a great score and the tech uploaded the photos and report before I even finished signing the dealership's paperwork to complete the sale. The report is so easy to read and very very thorough with plenty of important information and accompanying photos. I compared other services before going with Motovise and their report is the best in the industry, in my opinion. I wanted to purchase a used Lexus from a dealer in NJ. As I was not test driving it, they recommended a pre-purchase inspection and suggested Lemon Squad. I looked at their reviews and they were generally lousy. I came across Motovise and they had excellent ones. I requested an inspection online on Friday and they scheduled it for 1pm on Monday. There are three inspection packages and I paid for the most comprehensive one - it was WORTH EVERY PENNY. I had a 10 page report accompanied by 54 clear pics by 3pm and a 15 minute telephone consult the next day. The Carfax report listed a minor rear-end accident that didn't concern me but it turned out to be anything but minor. The floor pan and frame extensions were damaged and should have been repaired. Perhaps they weren't as the accident then couldn't have been reported as minor, but that's just my guess. When I asked about the consequences of not repairing the damage, the inspector explained that the parts absorbed a lot of shock in the accident and, should it happen again, rear seat passengers could be badly hurt as the shock absorbency was now pretty much non-existent. I told the car salesman and he just said, "Okay, thanks." Buyer beware, people. Spend a little to potentially save a LOT. I'd hire Motovise again and wholeheartedly recommend them. read more

I am extremely impressed with Amaury and the service Motovise offers... extremely impressed. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and when they were going to do it. The detail of the in-person inspection Amaury performed was awesome. I'm in Louisiana and it was great having someone represent my best interests while inspecting a vehicle I was considering to buy from a business in New Jersey. His detailed inspection and local knowledge gave me exactly the information I was looking for. He even pays attention to extra details outside of a typical vehicle inspection. I'm extremely glad I found their company to help me before I made the decision to buy a used car. The report your receive by email is extremely nice as well, very detailed photos they took during inspection show all the stuff that the dealer's photos didn't quite cover. Highly recommend. It's worth having a car inspected before purchase & Motovise services are very useful if you don't already have a reliable mechanic. If you come across a car you want to consider purchasing, take it for a test drive. If your test drive goes well, make a deposit (usually $100-$500 and reimbursable, ask the dealership for more information). Then schedule to have an inspection done by Motovise. I was present during the inspection and observed Motovise's inspection to be credible. Amaury was very diligent and thorough in inspecting the Honda Fit I was considering. It wasn't necessary for me to be present though. Next time, I'll let Motovise do their inspection solo instead of watching from inside the dealership and just wait at home for the Motovise report and follow-up call for any of my questions so that the car salesman isn't listening in and attempting to change the direction of the conversation. Then make your own decision from your test drive and car inspection results. You don't need to have every car you test drive inspected just the ones you really are considering to buy. This service is great. I was looking to get a deal on a really nice Lincoln...but it had been in 2 accidents. The used car dealer was upfront with the Carfax but said "it was repaired at a Lincoln dealer, that it was minimal, only had to be called structural damage because a wheel fender was damaged and since its welded to the frame it had to be reported...." Motovise went to the dealership the next day, inspected thoroughly and gave me a report. I never even wasted my time going to the dealer. Turns out the frame was bent, bumper supports hadn't been repaired, paintwork had dirt in it.... This car looked good and the salespeople talked a good game. Easy to schedule , professional, great follow up on the reports generated. The reports are very detailed, with pictures , and an easy to interpret diagrams, however they explain everything. They catch things that you wouldn't. Example: I was contemplating purchasing a Used Porsche Panamera. I first went to view the car and test drive. MOTOVISE then went a day or two afterwards to inspect the vehicle. They identified issues that I did not. They test drove at high speed and identified a vibration and rattling. More importantly , they identified that the odometer had been tampered with, as well as engine leaks. Saved me $40K . I did not purchase the vehicle. So that small cost of $250 or so, was a wise investment. I will be using this firm again for future inspections . read more

Don't buy a car unless John Mavrianos and his team inspects it first. I had picked out a previously owned vehicle that I thought I had thoroughly inspected. I know a little bit about cars. As much as the average person and maybe a little more since I do most of my own maintenance. John used his extensive knowledge as an automotive technician and provided me with the most complete report imaginable and what's more he spent 45 minutes on the phone with me going over the report so that I understood what he had found. The upshot...John saved me trouble and expense by advising me of transmission problems that he was able to identify. Thanks John! Used Motovice to inspect a car I was going to buy as I'm out of state and live over 1000+ miles away. Found a car that looked great on the website for an Auto dealer in New Jersey. Unable to check the car out for myself and wanted to make sure I didn't get a lemon. Had a very thorough inspection of the car with pictures attached. I got the package that costed $139 and it was well worth the money I spent as based on the report I ended up not getting the car and I think it was a very good decision. They go to wherever the car is (a dealer, private seller, your home) and they do a complete bumper to bumper inspection.
