I bought this 2023 Triumph Scrambler 1200xe. My first bike and I can't stay of it.

I'm a first-time motorcycle buyer and I had a great experience with Chicago MotorWorks. The purchase was quick, straightforward, and stress-free. I bought a 2023 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE Chrome Edition, and they made the whole process feel easy from start to finish. Huge shoutout to Bob--he was incredible with communication, answered all my questions, and kept me updated the entire time, especially with shipping and delivery timing. Everything happened exactly how they said it would, and I felt taken care of the whole way through. If you're looking for a smooth buying experience and people who actually follow through, I definitely recommend Chicago MotorWorks. Thanks Guys the bike landed safe and sound on time all the way to Cali

Came in to see a motorcycle , Nina was awesome , fun person to talk too , No pressure , beautiful bike at a fair price . Help me load it up . Sweet looking building inside . Overall experience was great from greeting to end.

Every time I enter this store, you can't get a minute to yourself to just browse. It starts with having to have the door unlocked to enter. There's a greeter there who asks you all sorts of questions and wants to take you on a very long tour of the entire store. Sometimes I just wanna go to the area, for example, accessories, that I know where it is. I don't need to be escorted through the entire building. I don't need to be approached every two seconds asking me if there's something specific I would like and working the Sales routine on me. Sometimes it's best to just greet your customers thank them for coming in and if they tell you that they just are browsing, then let them just browse. I've been here a bunch of times and it's always the same approach. The prices are all list / msrp for bikes and gear - no bargains here. So bottom line, lots of cool bikes to see, but it's always uncomfortable to do so.

Just got delivery of my BMWG310R, very first but not the last from Motoworks. Robert and Margaret are so nice to help out with the process from picking a suitable bike and paperwork. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants a new or used bike.

How Bob had it all customized for me when we met up for the 30min 1:1 tutorial he provided. Great hospitality.

To my massive massive regret of no other options- Took the new the R9t bmw there. AGIAN! They delivered it back to us Fd up again for the 5th time. Didn't do 1/2 the list of why it was sent it for repair. Took 6 weeks. Oil change isn't done after they screwed it up royally during the 600' service, the bent rim is still on the bike as well as the nail in the front tire. Great job Motoworks. Keep driving that dealership into the ground and smearing all the the European bike names in the mud ALL THROUGH YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT Run from this dealership. If you have any respect to your own money. RUN.

I had been struggling to find a shop with good people that won't sell a bike out from under you. But luckily there is one in Chicago. I worked with Bob to get my bmw s1000rr purchased and my Honda cbr600rr traded in. The process was smooth and Bob even helped coordinate while he was on vacation. I'd highly recommend.

2023 Vespa prior to windshield install.

This dealership has the nicest cycle showroom I've ever been in and staff has been pleasant to deal with, so far. I came here because their prices on Vespas were lower than another dealership even more inconveniently located. But I didn't end up saving any money. Staff promotes Vespa parts you don't need or which don't do the job. I purchased an OEM windshield, sight unseen but described by a salesperson as "large." When I picked up the Vespa, the wind screen only came 6 inches above the bodywork, directing air straight into my neck. When I asked if I could return it, they said sure but they'd have to charge me to uninstall the shield, likely it would take an hour and cost $100. I declined. I uninstalled it in less than 10 minutes. I don't mind paying a reasonable charge for labor but their install charge was ridiculous. I bought an aftermarket TALL shield from a scooter dealer on Damen at substantial savings and installed it myself. We'll see how everything shakes out when I have Motoworks pick up the Vespa for 600 mile maintenance.

I read some of the reviews from Ginas and I have to say overall I disagree with some of the bad reviews. I live an hour and a half away and I just wanted to get the out the door Price before I made the trip over there to take a look at their inventory. I was transferred to JB who gave me all the upfront costs and the out door price without hesitation. He was upfront and honest every step of the way. I came to look at one of their units with a check in hand. He treated me no differently, even though I wasn't going to make them any interest off of a loan. JB was amazing from the first moment. Even found a unit in the exact color I was looking for. Threw in an extra key fob. The entire staff was very nice and welcoming. Shout out to the guy in the back that was setting up my slingshot. I was dealing with Kat (the saleswoman) and told her what I needed to get for my bike on a trade. She looked up what the bike was worth and what they were selling for in the area and did not think it would be a problem. I told her I would get back to her. I left and a short time later I reached out to her to see what she could, if anything, on the price of the bike I was looking at and run some numbers to include the trade. A little back and forth and we came to an agreement. She sent it to me but said she had to wait until Monday to get confirmation from the sales manager or the general manager, both of whom were out for the weekend at an Indian convention. Monday came and she reached out to me to tell me her general manager agreed to the deal. I thought all was good to go. But, on Tuesday (I believe it was) enter the sales manager, Cody. Apparently, he overrode what they general manager agreed to and said they had to "back down" on the deal. So, I had to start again. Turns out I had to pay 600$ more than originally agreed upon. The one thing he said sums up his whole attitude, "I can sell that bike all day long at that price, and we haven't even got to the season yet". Oh, they then put my trade up for sale for more than 3 times what they gave me for it. What a shame. Now when people ask where I got the bike, I tell them I bought it locally but that I do not recommend going there. First thing I did was take off the Gina's license plate holder. If it had not been for the fact that I really, really, wanted that bike, I would have definitely walked away (ran away). Dealing with Kat and Tammy (the finance lady) was a pleasure, but that was the only bright part. Also, absolutely no follow up from anyone.
