Came in on what seemed to be a very slow Sunday night and was seated quickly as a solo diner. I hate to start on a negative, but despite the elegant/fancy decor, the tables near the entrance and bar (where I was seated) are essentially right on the casino floor. You can hear the slot machines and occasionally catch a whiff of cigarette smoke (I'm very sensitive and it wasn't overpowering, but it was definitely there). This was paired with music piped in from the restaurant itself that really did not match the vibe. I had the soup dumplings, prawns with salted egg, and flat noodles with beef. The soup dumplings were excellent; I would say at least as good as your average dedicated Cantonese/HK style dim sum restaurant. The flat noodles were good, but a little bit flat. Definitely benefited from chili or an extra splash of vinegar or maybe just a bit more wok hei char. The real star was the prawns salted egg - these were RICH and HUGE. Big puffy crunchy batter on the outside, luscious salted egg on the inside wrapped around some monster size prawns. Dishes are definitely meant to be shared and I regret not being able to come with a larger group. The table next to me had ordered the special duck, which looked both delicious and fun (they were raving about it). They have a nice whiskey selection and my cocktail was very well balanced. For dessert I had this layered white chocolate thing that I don't see on the menu anymore. It was...bad. Not disgusting but very cloying, unbalanced, and definitely did not fit the Chinese mantra of "not too sweet." Service was very good. Not quite fine dining level, but the different members of the service staff were well coordinated and knowledgeable about the menu. Maybe I would feel differently (4* vs 3*)if I had attended with a group, but the value for dollar is a huge disconnect here for me, and I really hated being able to hear the casino from my table. Chinese cuisine that definitely lives up to Vegas's standard for good food--and they also have some really amazing cocktails. The interior is dimly lit but stylish, creating a nice upscale atmosphere, and the service was solid throughout our meal. They're well known for their Peking duck, which runs a few hundred dollars, so we opted for other shareable dishes instead. Portions are well suited for family-style dining. My favorite dish was the black cod--it really stood out. The General Tso's chicken was just okay, the broccoli beef was fine, and the noodles were great. Overall, this is a good spot and I wouldn't mind coming back if I were staying at The Palazzo. That said, at around $100-$150 per person, there are plenty of other incredible dining options in Vegas that I'd still love to explore. read more

Make sure you reserve the duck or check whether they have the duck because you can't come here and not have the duck right? It's a 42 day roasted duck and it's very fatty and juicy. Is it the best duck I've had? Yeah probably, but when you've had a lot of duck in Asia, it's all pretty comparable. You get the option to have your duck prepared in 1, 2, or 3 ways (with an extra fee or course). You can just have the duck, or have it made into a fried rice, or a cabbage tofu soup. We opted for the fried rice and it was really good! The duck is presented to you whole and then cut table side. We also got the bbq iberic charsui pork and it was delicious. Still a good chew but also melt in your mouth when you chew on it lightly. We start off with the fried squid and the jellyfish. The fried squid with the fried onions was so fresh and delicious. With the crispy batter and perfect chewiness of the squid, this was definitely the best I've had. We ordered the fish maw soup and just a PSA, make sure you check whether or not the menu prices are PER PERSON. we ordered the $68 soup thinking it was a shared family style soup and they ended up giving us 5 bowls ($68x5) without even confirming or checking with us. Was it our fault for not reading? Yes. But they also did not ask how many bowls we wanted. From the vegetable section we got the braised tofu morel mushrooms and it was delicious. Very clean and it tasted like there was a layer of tapioca flour or something on the outside. It had a very pleasant chew. We also got another carb, the wok fried flat rice noodles with US black angus beef and bean sprouts. It was probably one of the best beef flat rice noodle dishes I've had. The service was excellent and the inside decor was very nice. The tables were a bit long / far apart though. TLDR: Run of the mill Vegas restaurant serving modern takes and traditional Chinese at the Venetian. Some spectacular dishes, some unremarkable, great drinks, and incredibly pricy. Mott32 is definitely style. It's a dark accented dining area with contrasting white porcelain but in almost every way the style definitely towers over substance. The menu is an interesting mix of modern twists and traditional dishes. Our party ordered a couple of their signature dishes: Peking duck and char siu, as well as several other bites. Everything comes with visual appeal for sure: cold smoke boxes, table side preparation, fun serving plates; but most dishes come with significant flaw I'll admit I'm put off by exorbitant pricing, it's really got to change my mind about a dish and this duck doesn't. It's fine. It's well made Peking duck. I can't say the sauces were any different than any banquet hall I've been. The sides were average with some leaky cucumbers. For $80-$150? 8/10, it's good nothing special For $300? 6/10. Passable. (Side note, they only served the skin and breast which I hated. There's Peking duck dishes all over the menu so I'm sure they use it but I'm used to being asked how I would like the rest served in a cascade of servings) The char siu is more interesting. Much sweeter than traditional, very tender, and well seasoned. It is served in cold smoke box which, together with the difference in seasoning, makes a great fusion between western flavor and Chinese recipe. 9/10. A similar comparison can be made between their xiao long bao. Their signature version is made with iberico ham but tastes no different than DTF. None of the nuttiness or fatiness of iberico is accentuated. 5/10. Then there's the hot, sweet and sour xiao long bao. These are fantastic. Well balanced, great sweet and sour flavor with a pop of chili oil heat that rounds out the bite. 9/10 The gai lan dish is passable. Well cooked.m but had no wok char flavor/aroma, which could have balanced the richness of the dish. 6/10. The drinks are very good; usually the case with stylish places. The strawberry drink is both fruity and floral while the hinami gives herbaceous flavor while still letting the spirit and yuzu through. Presentation was clean and appealing as well. Both drinks 10/10. Serving staff is hospitable but the timing and accuracy of service lacks pretty badly. The pre ordered dishes were given early but that was discussed at the start of seating. That's fine. But we ordered everything at the same time: Gai lan was served after all other dishes were finished, not just served; steamed rice didn't get to the table until everything was cold and finished. Honestly, pretty surprising how off the timing was. We were also only asked 2 times if we needed anything or to assess how we were liking the food. Service 4/10. Value isn't even a question. the food here was absolutely amazing! you have to order the peking duck 48 hours in advance and it's absolutely worth it. they cut the duck table side for you and serve the skin before the rest of the meat. the skin with the brown sugar was divine. the vegetables and soup came out so quickly after ordering and were so yummy. perfect seasoning and cook on everything. the crepes were so soft and delicious to eat with the peking duck. the servers were all so kind. we came here for a birthday and they all greeted the birthday girl. we also got a sorbet for a small birthday treat. they were also very good at checking in for allergies and overall great service. the restaurant itself is so moody. a great place to have celebratory dinners or a date night. the restaurant was big but the room we were put in a very moody, sultry room with comfy benches and neon lights. loved the vibe. this is definitely a pricey place but so worth the money! read more

I've been to Mott 32 several times now (Every Vegas visit), and it continues to be one of my favorite dining spots on the Strip (Within a resort). The décor is absolutely stunning -- rich, modern, and atmospheric without feeling over the top. The food is consistently excellent, and I really appreciate how many options they offer for different dietary needs. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or gluten‑free, there's a surprising amount to choose from, and everything I've tried has been delicious - My specific fav is the vegan soup dumplings. It's also super centrally located inside The Palazzo, so it's easy to find and convenient whether you're staying nearby or just exploring the area. The hospitality is on point. The only downside is that the prices are definitely on the higher side--but given the quality, ambiance, and overall experience, it still feels worth it to me. When I was in Las Vegas, I decided to check out Mott 32 because I had seen it on some lists for dim sum around this area. I came here for brunch on a Sunday and had made a reservation, so I was able to be seated immediately. The interior is fancy and luxurious (as is typical for Vegas restaurants), so it's a nice ambiance for going with family. I decided to get classics like Dim Sum Soup Dumplings, turnip cake, and some shrimp rolls. While the dishes themselves were good, I do think that they are pricy for what they are worth and so you're more paying for the experience/atmosphere in the meal. I did have a really good matcha drink here that was quite unique, so I would give their drinks a try. If you want solid dim sum, this place isn't a bad choice if you're willing to pay more. read more

I had a really good experience at the Mott32 in Vancouver so I made a dinner reservation to try this location in Vegas. I would describe Mott32 as upscale Chinese. They're known for the Roasted Peking Duck which you need to reserve in advance by email and then will take 40min to prepare to be brought to your tableside to be carved. One Duck is about 16 portions and comes with the classic wrap, sauces, onions. The duck was truly very good. The skin was incredibly crispy. The meat was juicy. It was cooked perfectly enough for a lot of the duck fat to be rendered and so didn't taste overly greasy or chewy, like most Chinese ducks. The cocktails were good as well. The matcha one was my favorite. We also ordered a few other food dishes which were just okay, nothing special. I thought the dim sum in Mott32 Vancouver is better in comparison. With every order of duck you also have the option of using the leftover scraps of the carved duck and turning it into a second dish such as a soup or fried rice. They make it seem like the second duck dish would be made with your leftover duck meat but in reality there is hardly any actual duck leftover. Our table had two whole ducks and barely any duck in our duck fried rice. As for the ambiance - very moody, luxurious and classy, definitely a nice date option for Vegas. I've heard so many great things about this place so to finally getting to experience it myself and the food did not disappoint. We did the limitless dim sum and we for sure took advantage of that. Everything we ordered tasted amazing but I highly recommend the snow pea tips, scallop dumplings, duck salad, crispy squid, and the crabmeat wontons. Preorder the duck if you plan to have it, and watch the chef carve it tableside with such intricate skill. I've had better duck elsewhere but this was very solid, moist and tender most importantly, but the pancakes got cold so fast and it was so bland it took away from the duck flavor. I think I'd eat the duck without the pancake next time. Adding Sambal for a little heat though is great! Had a dinner reservation at Mott 32 on NYE for 7:45pm. Didn't get there 'til 8, and we still hadn't been seated by 8:30.. I was famished! There was a huge crowd waiting to be seated and we had to be at a show by 10- I was close to giving up and going to a quick service food court. 8:45 rolled around and we were finally seated. I was hangry but as soon as we sat things moved pretty quickly, and I am soooo glad we ate there. The food was soooo good! My husband and I got a ton of things to share and we ordered the perfect amount. Everything we ordered was delicious, which included the traditional soup dumplings, quail egg sio mai, crispy squid, cucumbers, string beans, prawns, and veggie lo mein. If I had to choose anything that stood out, I would say it was the crispy squid appetizer. I probably could've eaten a serving of it just for myself! Ambiance was cool and trendy. Came to Mott 32 for the (unlimited) limitless brunch and I can say it is definitely NOT WORTH IT in my opinion. The food itself is good but the wait times are SO LONG that you hardly get to eat any of it, we would put in an order then wait 30+ minutes for any of the food to come out. There is a 2 hour time limit and we were there the entire waste of time 2 hours, spending the majority of the time just waiting for the food to come out. Our waitress just kept telling us that the kitchen was backed up and suspiciously told us things like "there's no wait for the salads or cucumbers if you want more of those" whenever we were ordering other items which rubbed me the wrong way how she just kept offering those alternative cheap items. It also took us over 20 min just to get the bill, it would have taken longer but we gave up on catching anyone's attention and just got up and tracked someone down ourselves because we were tired of waiting. If you do decide to do the limitless brunch make sure that you don't care about wasting 2+ hours of your vacation sitting around waiting for small measly portions of food. If you do go make sure to order 2-3+ portions of everything since the portions are so small (this would be my recommendation for a party of 2 so order even more for larger parties) and order everything you want at the beginning. If you do that then you mightttt end up full somehow based on your luck/chances. The server offered to course out our selections from the menu and I would refuse this just b because of the risk that the food would come out slower this way. So if you do decide to go know exactly what you want, order 2-3+ portions of everything, and order it all from the beginning. To avoid starting your day off with a frustrating and infuriating brunch I would just avoid this and go somewhere else since there are plenty of other restaurants. read more

I took my family to visit Mott 32 over the Thanksgiving weekend 2025. On this occasion, we ordered: the grilled seabass ($60.00); the grilled lamb ($68.00); the M9 Wagyu ($98.00); snow peas ($34.00); and white rice ($5.00). For beverages, we ordered a bottle of wine ($68.00). I also had two cocktails (2x $8.00/ea.). With tax of $29.23, our ticket was $378.23 before gratuity. Each of the three proteins utilized high end, quality cuts (as reflected in the price). Fortunately, the taste and preparation of each item was very good. The snow peas were prepared well, too. But as good as the food was, you are paying for location, ambiance and elevated service levels. There is more than one dining space within this one restaurant; and each has a slightly different look and feel. The decor of each is sumptuous. The table service provided was very good. However, the bar was a bit slow to prepare mixed drink orders on this visit. I made my reservation weeks ahead. Unfortunately, they do have a limitation as to the number of Peking Ducks they can prepare; and while I did request one, they weren't able to fulfill the pre-order. Been wanting to come here for a while and we finally made it this weekend! First off, the aesthetic inside is very cool, it has an industrial aesthetic with some Japanese inspired touches, and black and white movies projected onto one of the walls in the bar. Service was good, I thought our busboy and waitress were both nice, my wife thought the waitress wasn't very friendly. Take from that what you will, but they did check on us and we didn't have to wait or flag them down for things. For the food, it was (almost) perfect! We got a few different items: Garlic Cucumbers - These were fine, there isn't a lot you can really do to cucumbers to make them overly interesting (in my opinion), but they were good, there was nothing wrong with them. Iberico pork sweet and sour soup dumplings - These were excellent, I wish we had gotten two of these and skipped the cucumbers! They come served on cute little tray things in a steamer basket. They were juicy, savory, and made even better with the vinegar sauce that comes with it. General Tso's Chicken - Not something I would typically order at a restaurant, but I figured if anywhere could do it right, it was here, and I was right. The outside was coated and cooked perfectly, it wasn't too thick and crispy, even after sitting in the sauce while we ate. Similarly, the chicken itself was moist, it was excellent. Shanghainese noodles - I am pretty sure the noodles were made fresh, they had the right amount of bite, with a little bit of chili oil mixed in, they were delicious and fresh tasting, a very good accompaniment to the meal Triple cooked wagyu beef short rib - This is the only area where the food fell short. The ribs themselves were cooked well, the meat was tender as you would expect, the problem is that it was bland. For it to have any flavor we had to really drag it through the sauce, which would be fine, but there wasn't a whole lot of it. Super disappointing considering its $90 an order. This place is beautiful and it surprises us that we've never noticed it with as many ti.es as we've stayed at Palazzo. We came upon it due to watching influencer videos. We went for the all you can eat brunch. We had the most beautiful sweet waitress. She definitely made us feel comfortable and curated our experience for us because we didn't know where to start. The food was good and had a descent array. I will say to plan on the 2 hours they give you because you will need it. The food comes out a bit slowly at times and I did not feel like that was a problem with the waitress but rather the kitchen. So it is very bland! - string beans ($30): probably the best dish of the meal... but not worth $30. - Sea bass ($32): deep fried sea bass. The fish is tender and moist. The batter is crsipy... however, there is no flavor! Did the chef forget a dipping sauce (may be)? The server told us that no dipping sauce needed! - Smoked cod ($44): saw this dish on google and raving reviews. They showed the dish was brought out in the glass top cover and supposedly when the server removed the cover, the smoke would come out with amazing fragrant. I was so hopefully... the person brought the food out (not our sever) opened the top quickly and slammed the plate on the table... meh! The fish is moist but so salty that I literally drank a whole glass of water! - Desert: panna cotta ($20). Tasty but generic! - we also had jasmine cooler (non alcoholic drink) for $18 and forbidden rose (their signature mixed drink) for $25 which are pretty good. Our bill was $250 ( without tip) for 2. It is quite expensive for just so so Chinese food. So, next time when we want Chinese good in LV, we probably just drive to Chinatown for better quality food without spending an arm and a leg! The most classy and modern take on Chinese food in all of Vegas. Every dish hits the spot and is definitely worth the higher price tags. Definitely recommend for a date spot or celebrating any special occasion. It's much more special than Ding Tai Fung. Very easy to make reservations ahead of time. I highly recommend trying their Dim Sum dishes esp the Scallop Dumpling and Garoupa Dumpling. You cannot get this level of delicacy, visual presentation, and taste elsewhere. They're not dishes traditionally available at Dim Sum restaurants. You should preorder the duck ahead of time as they're not available day of. The chef cuts it right in front of you, and the skin is so crunchy. Comparable to ducks in Peking. The Iberico Pork also requires preordering, but would recommend duck over pork if you had to pick one. Pork is tender, but similar to pork you can get elsewhere. read more

Mott 32 was suggested by a few of my friends for authentic Chinese cuisine. If you're taking an Uber/Lyft here, make sure you get dropped off at the main entrance of the Palazzo. It's much closer to the restaurant than the Venetian entrance. We made reservations ahead of time but the restaurant wasn't too busy on Monday night. They're well known for their Apple Wood Roasted Peking duck. It requires a lot of preparation beforehand that they ask you to pre-order it. We lucked out and they had a duck available for us despite not pre-ordering. A chef comes table side and actually prepares the duck for us. We first started off with eating the duck skin. The outer skin was thin but crispy and the inside had duck fat. You get a small plate of brown sugar to sprinkle over the skin which helps to break the fat down. Next, we were served pieces of duck meat. In other Chinese restaurants you typically get served bao buns with the duck. I liked that the duck here is served with think rice paper so that you don't get full faster. You can pair the duck with regular hoisin sauce or a blend of hoisin and sesame sauce. Aside from the duck, we also ordered ocean prawn dusted with salted egg. A friend recommended this and I was not disappointed. The salted egg flavor and batter made for a super delectable bite. Lastly, we ordered baby bok choy as our vegetable. The three dishes together was plenty for our party of 4 and we left feeling satisfied. My dinner here was a wonderful experience! Service was very attentive, my water glass is always filled with water. It was pretty dark inside the restaurant, but it set the perfect ambiance for a romantic mood. My favorite dish was the truffle scallops: the scallops were huge and truffle was flavorful, but didn't cover the creamy sensation of the scallop. The cocktail "It's five pm in Hong Kong", really blew my mind. I love the name. It reminded me about Hong Kong, while the five o clock hinted the freedom and laid back feeling after you get off work. "Woohoo, freedom, let's get some booze!" Though we didn't order dessert, it was really thoughtful how Mott 32 gave us complimentary dessert, cute little scoops of tangy ice cream. We got there around 1039 and some of the tables we walked by already had food (and they opened at 1030) We promptly got seated and we got the limitless dim sum brunch. I opted for the bottomless classic drinks and got the Gambino sparkling wine. Luke and Drake were amazing. My wine glass was never empty. They checked in on us often and the food kept coming. We were super stuffed. We pretty much ordered one of everything, but we kept reordering the shrimp toast. The siu mai was really good and I don't even like siu mai. Joey was our server he did an extravagant job on serving us drinks. It is a reservation only restaurant We ordered the pekking duck 5/5 They did a cutting experience right in front of us. The rest of the duck can be bought in soup, or fried duck bone for an additional price. Ambiance- it was pretty loud in there. Lots of people chattering and might have heard music but I don't recall. We also ordered a pork bbq dish, and with the Pekking duck it came with hoisin sauce and the other with the swirl is mixed with peanut sauce I definitely recommend it. It came with sliced onion and cucumbers. And instead of a bao we got like a thin crepe wrap or like a eggroll wrap in a dim sum bamboo steamer. We had a wonderful dinner at Mott 32. We started with a few dim sum dishes, including the siu mai, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Peking Duck. Since it's roasted fresh to order, we waited about 35 minutes, but it was well worth it. The skin was perfectly crispy, the meat was tender and juicy, and you could really taste the difference from freshly roasted duck. Another standout was the Sichuan-style Fish with Pickled. The broth was so rich, authentic, and comforting that we finished every last drop. A special thank you to our server, Kelson, who made the experience even better. He was professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on, and he checked in at just the right times without ever making us feel rushed. Mott 32 is a high- end modern Chinese restaurant originated in Hong Kong. Now there are few different locations in the world. Friends and I met up in Vegas for the weekend and we were excited to try their new AYCE dim sum brunch! It was so much fun and so much food! Modern, fancy and elegant ambiance. It is so pretty inside with the dim lighting and chandelier. We got a big round table for the 8 of us. Our server Danny was the best! He is so fun and attentive. He explained the menu and let us know how to order efficiently without us even asking yet! The kitchen was busy so he suggested put in the dim sum dishes first. The AYCE menu was extensive! We pretty ordered the whole AYCE menu. Always great to come with a group so we can do family style. The quality was very good even though it was AYCE. Everything was made to order. We got the drink package which was priced reasonably considered being in a high end restaurant and in Vegas! Some of my favorites were the scallop dumplings, congee, pineapple bbq pork buns, fresh snow pea tips and black vinegar ribs. read more

We had dim sum for brunch here, everything felt super polished but still chill enough to actually relax and enjoy the food. We tried a bunch of dishes, Hot & Sour Iberico Pork Soup Dumplings were incredible and full of flavor. The Prawn Dumplings were fresh and delicate, and the Crab Roe Siu Mai was rich and savory in the best way. The Hot & Sour Soo was spot on too, tangy and comforting. The Peking Duck was the highlight- presentation was on point and was carved right in front of us. The Steam Soft Crab Roll was nice with a light finish. We made a reservation for four at Mott 32 and pre-reserved the Peking duck, which is a must. Even with the reservation there was a short wait, but it was totally worth it. Inside is dark and moody and the service is very high class. Everything we tried was incredible. The Peking duck was 1000 out of 10. Absolutely phenomenal. They prepare it tableside and start you off with a piece of crispy skin dipped in brown sugar. I could eat that by the pound. The pork soup dumplings were 10 out of 10. The soft quail egg siu mai was 10 out of 10. The crispy sugar-coated BBQ Iberico pork bun was 100 out of 10 and so unreal I almost ordered another round. The hot and sour Iberico pork Shanghainese soup dumplings were 10 out of 10, really unique and delicious. We also had some noodles, which were fine but didn't stand out compared to everything else. Portions were generous and the four of us even had leftovers. I tried one of their cocktails with boba, which was good but not as memorable as the food. I will absolutely come back to Mott 32 again and again. Easily one of my favorite meals in Vegas. read more

First time trying Mott32 for my friend's birthday and super glad we came here. It was so delicious and very nice to celebrate a birthday too. We ordered the Peking duck, fried rice, Shanghainese noodles, and the barbecue pork. Must order the Peking duck and you have to preorder it before your arrival. It came with the steamed pancake wrappers and hoisin sauce. Every bite of the duck was delicious and the skin was so juicy and crispy with flavor. The service was great but to warn you that you need to say house water for free because we didnt know at first they were charging us Evian water. We told one of the assistants named Joey and he was super understanding and helpful. He comped the water for us and gave us house water like we wanted. Joey was very friendly and attentive to my group. It's very nice and elegant inside. The lighting is little darker and sets the mood. There are a lot of tables inside and a bar with about 8 stools to sit. I can't wait to come back for the Peking duck another time. read more

Amazing roasted duck! You do have to call them to reserve the duck in advance. I think it's $138 for this alone. They present you with the marvelous duck and cut it up in front of you. It's delicious, but keep in mind it's not the traditional Chinese roasted duck. Also they don't give you the whole duck, I guess they use the rest to make other dishes with. We also ordered a couple sides, including fried rice and the string beans. The string bean dish here is phenomenal, probably one of the top 3 Chinese string bean dishes I've ever had. This was my group's favorite item we ordered. I don't care much for fried rice so that dish was okay for me. It's pretty dimly lit in this restaurant and gives off a fancy intimate vibe. Staff were frequently around and attentive to our needs. Overall had a wonderful time here celebrating a special day. read more

So this was stop #2 on the Duck tour: Peking Duck ($138), along with Crispy squid ($22), braised tofu ($34), sauteed beens ($30), Mushrooms ($20), and stir-fried noodles ($25). Like other restaurants, the duck is carved tableside, where they provide traditional pancakes. In addition to the duck being carved tableside, they asked if we would like another dish with the meat from the carcus (yes please!). The duck skin was crispy, but maybe not as crispy as it could be, The duck though was very succulent and juicy. I really enjoyed the squid - it was perfectly cooked, not rubbery, and I also liked our little mushroom lettuce cup and green bean (though they weren't really garlicky like I like them, they were crisp and good). The noodle dish though - of all the sides we got - I think it was my favorite. The second duck dish they brought was fried, and while quite good, perhaps a little heavy on the salt (but not unedible). I did have to knaw on some bone to get all the good meat, but, not my first rodeo (I'm sure it won't be my last) Wine: The Sommelier suggested two seperate styles of wine. They both went well with the duck, as well as the sides. Service: impeccable. While I did like this iteration of duck, it was not my favorite thus far. Don't get me wrong - it was VERY good, maybe not perfect for what you pay, but I felt portion size was good and I certainly did not leave hungry. Would I go back, absolutely! Mott 32 is located within the Palazzo and features a very nice venue. My friends and I came for the all you can eat brunch, which was extremely disappointing. I want to caveat this review by saying the service staff (Spencer) and the manager (forgot her name, Asian woman) were nice. But the experience overall was dreadful. The food came out extremely slowly. It took around 15 minutes to get water, and 30 minutes to get coffee. We ordered several items from the menu, but by the end of the two hours, only half showed up. In total, we only were able to get in two very incomplete rounds of food. After escalating to our waiter, and him informing us that the entire staff was involved, we saw our food mistakenly delivered to the wrong table, which was infuriating. We ordered the add on Peking duck, which came out around 45 minutes after we were seated. This was expected, but what was appalling was that the pancake wrap that typically accompanies Peking duck came out 20 minutes after the duck! This was a complete joke. Taste-wise, Mott 32 is good. It's decent, but if you REALLY know dim sum, it's just on par with other restaurants. This place taste wise is equal to or slightly below establishments like HL peninsula or Koi palace in the Bay Area, or Lunasia in the 626. What's most sad, is that there are many already existing blueprints of how to run a large dim sum restaurant successfully. There are so many examples in the 626 or Bay Area of huge dim sum restaurants where hundreds of people eat dim sum on the weekends. And they all get served in a timely manner. There's really no excuse for the lack of kitchen organization, given they can just model all the other yum cha restaurants out there. Mott 32 kitchen/service teams should really study their roots. All in all, I felt bad for the staff, since the overall brunch system is utterly flawed. The kitchen manager ultimately comped our meal- that was a nice gesture. However, you can't get time back, and wasted time on a vacation is especially frustrating. read more

We were on time for our reservation, but still had to wait a bit for a seat. The food was good, but in my opinion not all that different from other high end Chinese dining establishments that costs significantly less. Even with table reservation and duck reservation, the duck was served very late, much later than after we had finished all our other dishes. They brought our dishes out staggered, and some dishes came even before our drinks did. For an upscale restaurant, I was disappointed with the ambiance and service. Love the atmosphere, they've got cute decor and nice low light. Service was absolutely perfect. They were constantly on top of everything. Switching the plates quickly, going the glasses, and doing their best to make the experience as seamless as possible. I love how they cart out the duck to show you what you're getting. The display of twirling the sauce was fun. The duck was juicy, normally you to call ahead of time. They do have a birthday candle which was really sweet. My personal favorite is the wagyu stir fry. Although the wagyu was a lower grade the sauce was really great, the asparagus was cooked well. The lobster fried rice had nice juicy lobster, but the fried rice was a little dry. Shrimp was nice and crunchy. The rose dessert was my favorite. I'm not used to the egg dessert. Definitely getting the rose dessert again read more
