I been coming here for years now. New to the yelp app, so I had to come leave a review for my favorite nail shop. Due to COVID-19 the salon is closed and it's totally understandable. Safety of humans is always priority. Let me start by saying that #4 has always left my nails looking amazing! I get so many compliments every time! I work at a retail store as a cashier and my hands always get noticed because of my beautiful nails. I can't count with my two hands the girls/women that always ask me where I get my nails done. That's how good my nail lady is she does amazing shape, takes her time, good with designs, and you show her an inspo pictures and gets it the same May I add even better than the picture. It's best to make an appointment at this place because they get busy. I always call a few days to book for them to assure my spot and give them good notice. The salon is fairly small and is a bit outdated. It would be great if they renovated it a bit and added a more modern look. It be great if they added a more aesthetically pleasing look. Nevertheless, this salon does a great job on nails and I love getting my nails done here every time. I can't wait for this pandemic to be over and it reopens up again!! I miss you #4!!! I went to this place on 12/15/11 to get my nails done for graduation. Typically I was looking for a cheap place that does a decent job. My price range was $20-25. When I called to make an appointment, I asked them how much they charge for a gel set and the lady said $20! What a steal! When i came in i showed the lady pictures of some nail designs but in the end I decided to go with the regular white tip. I asked how much and she said $25! (she explained something to me, but I can't remember. Anyways, for $5 more I didn't complain). The lady suggested I add sparkles on the tip of my nails, which is $2 more. I ended up paying $27! + $5 tip because the lady who did my nails was super nice and not too chatty. The gel they use is not thick; it looks like the clear base coat of a regular nail polish. I had doubts that it would last. Surprisingly, it lasted me almost a month and still looks good! I actually like it better because it looks more natural. I'm definitely going back to this place! Location: Quite small. Next to pizza hut. Price: Average as compared to other high-tech salons that does decent jobs. Tip: $4 or $5 for a flower design. When you pay with credit card include the tip before they charge it because when you get your receipt, there is no tip section. [My brother payed for my nails on credit card and did not know this, and the lady was really nice about it, and she said "Don't worry. Next time."] I gave her $5 cash tip because she did an excellent job. I think her name is Kim??? She has long black hair (tied), and she has one daughter who loves to read books. I walked in and asked for pedicure prices and I just didn't feel welcomed. She said $16, and this other lady had got me ready for my pedicure. The only place I trust!!! The owner is SUPER nice; she's always super busy doing someone's nails, answering phone calls, and taking appointments down. Her employees are all so friendly, you don't hear any of them talking loud or gossiping. They focus on just you during your time there. I've gotten pedicures with french tip and it is ALWAYS perfect. Even if you never really look up close, they do such a clean job. I've also gotten french tip gel manicures and the lady that does mine shapes my nails so nice and natural; the way I like it. WOW. I can't believe there are no reviews for this place. Well then, I've come here twice and the first time i was very pleased. I believe i got an acrylic set, with the sparkle tips instead of the white. I chose an awesome lime green color, super funky! Loved how they did it, not too thick, no bubbles, and most importantly they were not crooked! They were pretty nice, didn't force conversation, and no talking crap! The second time was somewhat of a disaster on my part. Because I was getting a fill, I wanted a neon sparkle orange to go over the green but because the green was too dark I was talked into getting this HORRENDOUS low rider orange..UGH! I was made fun of for the weeks that I had them on and I was so sick of them I just waited for my nails to pop off. But it's been 2 years probably and i'm recovered and will never let someone talk me into a color I DO NOT like. lesson learned here! But their nails do stay on for quit some time, they do a good job, and accept credit/debit. BE WARNED. the wait can be forever, it's in a disgusting area, and is literally a hole in the wall! They just looked at me and looked away. I waited awhile until someone told me they would be right with me. 10 more minutes passed by and she's still working on another client. I like this place to do my Nails but with specific person. Girls #3 or #4 they are very good. The reason im giving 2 stars is cuz they have very bad customer service the person that answer the phone that is the manager or the owner, she can be rude sometimes. What i hate the most is that i call to make an appointment and i told her 11am and she wrote 11:30 so i got here at 10:55am and according to her is my fault so now i have to wait if i want my nails and that sucks, 30 to 40 mins waisted. So i really think they should pay more attention to those things that can take as to look for other place to do are nails. read more

I expected a lot based on the reviews that we're given, however I came in for a simple set, one color and a short shape and Hiue responded to it costing $35. The person before who had just finished getting her set had long coffin nails with a design and glitter and I heard it came out to $35. I just think the price is unreasonable and should be more fair based on what the person in receiving. In addition to the pricing the job wasn't done nicely. My nails came out looking flat and unevenly shaped throughout the surface. I wouldn't recommend it here based on my experience. Not coming back. The ONLY place I trust with my nails. I have full faith in all the ladies, so I'm not picky with who does my nails at each appointment. Not only are the prices great, but the ladies are so sweet! This place is definitely not a stereotypical nail salon. They don't talk crap, and they'll let you know if certain designs will work or not. Don't let the location scare you away. After coming here for over a year, I had to leave never to return again. The last few times I went in they were so unprofessional and uncaring of my business that I felt disrespected. They would keep me waiting even when I would make an appointment. They always take walk-ins even when they know their next appointment would be arriving soon. The very last time I went for my refill I went without an appointment around the time I thought they would not be too busy. Unfortunately they were so I scheduled an appointment for later that evening. I went back at the appointment time and the technician I was scheduled with was still with another customer. There was 3 other technicians free, just sitting there and none of them greeted me or acknowledged me. I gave them a few minutes and finally, 5 minutes later, the person I had the appointment with came and told me she was still going to be a while...I guess it didn't matter that I had made an appointment. She asked if I wanted one of the other technicians to help me. I said fine. I kid you not, the other lady got up with an annoyed look on her face and grabbed her kit... Gee sorry to bother you, just trying to give you my money! She had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to come back tomorrow! I told her I did not and that I had already came by twice that day. She obviously did not want my business. I got so upset but I just told her to forget it and I walked out.
