I've never eaten at a Mountain Mike's before, so I thought I'd give them a try, since I'm holed up here in Fort Bragg. Not wanting to walk into their building in the midst of a pandemic, I figured I'd check on-line, to see what they offer and what they want for it. World's worst website. Their on-line "menu" has no prices and no sizes listed. Their site asks you to type in the city your local Mountain Mike's is located, so I typed in "Fort Bragg". Their website comes back "No Locations Found". That can't be true, because I'm looking right at it, right now. Bigger than shit, the sign out front says "Mountain Mike's Pizza". So I called them on the phone. The guy who answered it was just as clueless and devoid of any useful info as their website. How the hell am I supposed to order anything if they won't tell me what their pizzas cost? You want my business, don't try to hide your prices. read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE SERVICE. If I could give less than one star I would, the one star I have to give is literally only because the pizza wasn't complete trash. Way over priced for what is is, save the money and eat somewhere cheaper you'll be just as satisfied. Poor customer service. Young lady was friendly but a man who I am presuming is the owner (dressed in all black) took our order and was rushing us the whole time because he was too concerned with being the one to help the next customers in line because he obviously knew them. I ordered a medium extra cheese pizza with pepperoni and an order of jalapeño poppers. My total was $36 and he didn't even get my order right because he wasn't paying attention to me. He didn't give me a receipt either and my pizza didn't have any pepperoni. I feel like I got overcharged but he didn't offer me a receipt so how could I even really know... As he walked through the restaurant, another patron said to him "Good pizza," and he completely ignored them because AGAIN he was headed straight towards the table that sat the people he knew to make sure to tell them "If you want any more of anything I have it." We want to start by saying that we were informed that this Mt Mike's has recently gotten a new manager, and it shows nicely! Our pizza was absolutely delicious! We are fans of Mt Mike's Pizza in the Sac Valley, so we decided to try the one in Ft Bragg. We had a Ham, Olive, Mushroom & Tomato pizza delivered to our motel room last night; the crust was soft on top, crispy on the bottom, and supported the toppings. It was so delicious that we went to the restaurant tonight and bought another one! Tonight's pizza was also delicious! The salad bar was fresh with a lot of options. The restaurant was clean with competent, friendly staff who were attentive to our requests. After finishing our dinner we tipped them an extra $10 in addition to the 20% we had already given. The other customers seemed to be enjoying their experience as well. We will be going back! read more

Good pizza, very bland hot wings could have made better at home, but what got me the most is charging as much as they do for a pizza and then charging more for something as simple as ranch wich everybody gets with pizza paid 100 bucks for largest pizza,and 1 small order of wings and small garlic bites.Good pizza but not that good, also very hard to talk to staff there English was barley recognizable more pointing and head shaking to get our order right. The absolute worst "RESTAURANT" I have ever been to in my entire life! We ordered our pizza online with a pick up at 6:50 and we arrived just after 6:55 , they told us they couldn't find our order I showed my order confirmation email and then all the sudden she said "ohh we ran out of everything , we will start your order now!" I didn't say anything given I was trying to be understanding even though they had my number and email and no one called to warn me. She then told me another 40 min to wait.. I waited with my screaming kids in the car that they gave zero cares about! I then went in to get my order, I told the women I didn't think me paying full price for an order that I had to wait an additional 45 minutes for was correct. She said blame the kitchen it's not my fault. Then stormed away to get a man from the kitchen. He came out I said the same thing to him , he then said I can't do anything for you, contact my owner . I said what's your owners name and number ? He gave me a first name and number I said what is your owners last name he said I have no idea. Then after me questioning him again he passed on the information! I can not believe you leave these people in charge of your restaurant to make money for any part of your life!!! I will be in contact with the manager as well as corporate as well as any form of social media so that no one has to deal with this ever! First, let me state that this is the only time we've tried Mountain Mike's in Fort Bragg. We have had Mountain Mike's a LOT over the years at various locations in the Bay Area and see it as good pizza, friendly service, and reliable. Things vary, of course, but it's pretty good overall, which is why we tried it over the weekend while in Fort Bragg. We ordered online and I picked things up to-go. Cashier was very friendly and the order was ready right as I walked in, but once I got back to our rental... the mozzarella cheese sticks were so undercooked that the breading looked almost white and they were pretty much inedible. Our large half-pepperonie, half-bacon (kids' favorite) was overcooked and so greasy that the kids gave up on it. I personally love crispy pepperoni with plenty of oily goodness, but this was way beyond the pale and even I passed on it. I called the store and was informed they were closed so they couldn't help. The guy I spoke with offered that if I came by the next day to meet him in person, he would try to make things better. I appreciate that, but there was a snowball's chance that we would have time to do that (and it never happened), so here's the review. Again, it was our only time trying them, but our local friends heard us talking about it and they shared they'd given up on trying it again. Given some of the reviews I have read, it sounds like this franchise started off really well and I see the management is active in responding to bad reviews, so maybe there's hope, but ... it's going to be a challenge given all the good Ft. Bragg pizza places they have to compete with. read more

Placed mobile order at around 6:00p and walked into the lobby to pickup at 6:45p. Must have been 20 people (angry looking) in the lobby all waiting for their orders as well. There were at least 5 people working that I saw (1 girl answering the phone, 1 girl staring at the "order up" window, and 3 guys in the back. I was told my order was going to be another 15 minutes. Not sure how/why it takes 60 minutes to make a pizza, the place is crazy inefficient. Saw one gentleman walk in the door to pickup his order and exclaim "25 minutes seemed like forever" at which point the temperature in the lobby got really hot. We had such a great dinner here! They actually offer gluten free crust in 3 sizes, something I've never seen before. And the gf crust was perfect! Wish we had these in the midwest. So delicious. Open late and super tasty pies. The hubs and I ate at a couple of these on our roadtrip down the cali coast. It's not often I find the need to write a review, but this place needs to be reviewed based on our visit tonight. My husband and I came in excited to order a pizza, given the fact that everyone in the area was excited to have a Mountain Mikes just open up in town. It wasn't busy as the place seemed to be emptying out after the Patriots and Chiefs game. We ordered right away, a large pizza and an order of wings. We waited patiently and waited and waited. Almost an hour and still no pizza and no wings. I then noticed an employee bringing out a pizza, I thought it would be ours, but instead it was for another table that arrived well after us. We go to the front and inquire about our order. The cashier, nor the kitchen have any idea where our order is, even with the number they gave us. Pizzas continue to come out of the kitchen, but not ours. Another gentleman comes along, finds the order in the system, also has no explanation for our food not being made. He did offer a free pizza, but at that point we had waited too long and to wait yet again for them to make an order that should have never been lost in the first place was definitely not worth anymore of our time. When I heard Mountain Mike's was coming to town I was not overly thrilled. After all, why did a small town that already had 7 pizza places need any more?! Being the inquisitive person that I am though, I had to try it. OMG am I glad I did! Their pizza crust is a perfect combination of crunchy and chewy. The toppings are good quality and spread liberally. The sauces are flavorful, but don't take over the pizza. Everything blends together in sweet harmony in every bite. They've been open about a week now, and we've been twice already. The first time we got the "Mountain" size pizza. This thing is monstrous, and can easily feed 10 adults. We have three adults and three teenagers and had leftovers for two days! The second pizza was a large, with some semblance of chicken and veggies on pesto. I was super impressed! We had a pepperoni and a mount veggiemore. Crust had a good texture and held up to the thick layer of toppings. We had the cold leftovers the next day and crust was still good, did not get soggy. I also had the all you can salad. The lettuce mix was really fresh and crisp and they had a good assortment of items including: boiled eggs, artichoke hearts, tomato, cucumber, potato salad, baby corn... more items than I can remember to list here. Our first EVER Mountain Mike's pizza the other night, was take-out from the new one that just opened in our hometown. We got a half & half - pepperoni and mushroom/Louisiana hot sausage, mushroom, and onions. Loved that you could customize each half. I like extra sauce and light cheese, the other half doesn't. It was superb! The sauce was excellent and not overly salted like other places in town; HUGE plus for us. It was still impressively crispy and hot by the time we got it home. I especially liked the sausage, new addiction I am afraid. Easy to use coupon system, very nice and helpful staff, not a single negative. They did a great job on the inside too. Lots of arcade games and happy customers. I still have my longtime local favorite, but MM's will be the go-to when they are closed, or if I get an extra good coupon :-) read more
