The pizzas are made to perfection, unfortunately This is not my regular Mountain Mike's location, but on the two occasions I visited this store, I experienced rudeness from staff that made me uncomfortable. On one visit, while I was working, I purchased a soda and felt the employee was upset that I did not buy more than that. While I understand businesses have policies, the interaction felt unwelcoming, especially as a paying customer. What later caused serious concern for me is that I was informed of an incident this Friday that just passed but on Friday evening outside this location in the back of the parking lot; there's a worker involving an individual associated with the business who reportedly displayed a firearm in a threatening manner toward people in the parking area. Law enforcement responded, and that person with the firearm who is an employee ; police came out and an arrest was made. Hearing this raised safety concerns for me as a parent and community member. No situation involving the public should ever escalate to intimidation or the display of a weapon. I hope management reviews staff conduct and prioritizes safety and professionalism. read more

First off, a lady who works there doesn't even know what time they stop delivering. When asked that question I got the answer "we're still delivering right now" which didn't answer my question. I have been getting Mountain Mikes Pizza for several years now. They have been my go to pizza place since I first tried them after too many bad pizzas from Dominoes and Papa Johns along with the closure of Mother Mary's in Clovis. I have ordered from multiple Mountain Mikes venues on multiple occasions due to the fact my children and grandchildren lived in opposite ends of the Fresno Clovis area. Pizzas were always done on time and the prices are competitive. Unfortunately the last two pizzas from Clinton Ave location have been subpar. The first was one because it was ordered with thin crust and it came with the regular crust, the pizza was ok just not a fan of thick crust pizzas and it isn't what we ordered. The last pizza on the weekend after the Fourth of July was burnt on top and bottom causing the sauce to turn into a dry paste this pizza was more like what I had come to expect from Dominoes. I will try ordering again because when they are good they are very satisfying but they are down to the last strike because I want to enjoy my pizza not complain about my pizza. Currently checking out other pizza places close by to try and hopefully find a good second option or new first option for pizza night. read more

We had the best service at this location. We came after a cold day of ice skating and were met by the owner, who was super friendly. We asked if it was our 1st time at this location and really made us all feel special and welcomed. The pizza came out very fast and did not disappoint. Best advice, **Do not select delivery!** We ordered our pizza at 4pm. I called the location at 5:38 for an update because the app said 40 min for delivery, not 98. She said "is the pizza paid for?" Yes, the money was taken from my bank account as soon as I submitted my order at 4. Then she says, "we're waiting on a dasher, should be like 5-10 minutes." I get a notification at 6:02 (24) minutes after my call) that our pizza would be delivered at 6:22. What in the actual f? We live .9 miles away! Finally, our pizza was delivered at 6:16. I paid $100 for three pizzas (higher than area average) and they arrived cold. Cheese was stiff. I paid $100 for three pizzas I had to warm on the oven. I didn't order Papa Murphys! Every mikes I've been to is the same. They all have friendly staff and fresh food. The salad bar is small but fresh. The pizza for lunch is brought out and kept fresh and hot. If it has been out for a few minutes it is taken out and replaced with another flavor or style. You can ask for your favorite and they will make it. On 2/15/24 I paid $14 for the lunch buffet at this specific Mountain Mikes. I took the only slice of pizza available at the buffet and a house salad. I decided to order pizzas for our office and everyone wanted vegetarian veggie pizzas. I ordered two pizzas and somehow there was a misunderstanding with the order. I called them up and the manager was very understanding and offered to make the pizza again. This manager went out of his way made it perfectly and earned a customer for life. My husband and I love to treat ourselves to Mountain Mikes once or twice a month. Our go to location was on First and Shaw And we were beyond ecstatic to have a location open up closer to us. At first, it was great! We ordered delivery, received it in a timely manner (around the promised time) and the pizza was delicious. However, in the last 6 months or so we noticed a drastic change in quality and service. When I place an order I receive a promised delivery time, then later I'll receive an updated delivery time via text that is often an hour or more after the promise delivery time. It appears that delivery has been outsourced to DoorDash which is disappointing. Our pizzas have come lukewarm at best and have been obviously sitting until a driver is assigned to the order. Our most recently order has cold cheese and chewy crust. Not only is this disappointing from a company that take pride in using fresh ingredients and references offering a quality product, it is also concerning from a food safety standpoint as well. We won't be ordering delivery any longer and I'm not certain how much trust we can have in a business that has fallen so far from a promised standard. read more
