My dad and I came to this location to eat in. I ordered a x large pizza with 2 sodas. The guy working there grabbed cups at the top/tip and handed them over to me. His fingers were touching the very tip of the cups where you put your mouth at. Had to use straws. Next when the pizza came, he gave us dirty plates. I asked for new plates and he took the dirty plates. I he turned around and wiped them with his bare hands. Went0 back to the counter and where we can't see him switch plates. Came back quick within seconds with plates. This place is a bit questionable in terms of hygiene. read more

Went there for lunch buffet. 11-2. Arrived 12 and no pizza ready. The lady at the counter told me it was to be made upon ordering the lunch buffet and it would take 10 minutes. 15 minutes later a semi combo was placed out, I asked if they were going to make cheese or veggies, her response was "why didn't you tell me when you ordered?" Seriously??? No pizza, twists or anything ready?? Pizza is very good but call ahead before you show up. Also, they Do NoT offer wine and arcade as mentioned on they web site. Though they've been open since 2012 or so, and I'm only a couple of miles away, this was my first time at Mountain Mikes. I was drawn in by their $7.99 lunch buffet. This consisted of a modest salad bar (two types of greens, and the usual assortment of toppings), and slices of three different pizzas: at the time of my visit, pepperoni, chicken Hawaiian, and plain cheese; a good chance to sample several of their numerous pizza offerings on one visit. The regular menu, not the buffet, also includes several wing variants and a couple of sub-type sandwiches. There's a decent draft beer selection, including some craft items: Deschutes and Firestone IPA's, and Firestone's 805. Everything quite satisfactory, and the buffet is a good buy. read more

I have been eating these pizzas for years now. They are pretty delicious! On Sunday, December 4, 2021 I called the Hercules location. I gave the person the coupon that I had. They told me that coupon was unacceptable because The price was lower than what the price is now and it was expired. I let him know that I've been purchasing for years and was told by a Mountain Mike's manager that they accept expired coupons. With that said I did not get my order from the Hercules location, I got my order from the El Sobrante location. A few months ago I tired to order a pizza with basil on it. They took my order then called me back and said they didn't have fresh basil. I started to cancel the order and they said they would go to the store and get the basil. The pizza arrived with dried basil sprinkles FOR THE SAME PRICE and no explanation that they couldn't get fresh. I was mad but let it go. Then tonight I ordered a medium pizza with extra sauce, light cheese, spinach, mushroom and garlic. I got a dry pizza without extra sauce and a very, very skimpy amount of toppings. It was very doughy and $25 for dough isn't making me happy. And I have a big stomach ache like a rock in my gut. I'm not going there again. We love their freshly baked Hawaiian pizza with generous slices of ham, lots of pineapple, and cheese. The staff is very nice and the big screen televisions have sports on all the time. It's a quiet place to sit down and relax. Most people just pick up their food for to go orders. Their party package prices are unbeatable if you have kids for a birthday or whatever else you want to celebrate with pizza and chicken wings. My family and I order from this branch often. But will unfortunately stop for a while after my experience during covid times. There was only 1 worker handling the cashier then goes to the back to handle the food. I didn't see him wash or sanitize his hands. He also put his mask under his chin while preparing the food and by the time he caught me looking, had put his mask back up. He also said it would take 5-6 minutes for the wings-- even though I ordered in advance-- because he accidentally made BBQ wings. Which was fine that he made the mistake but, I been waiting for more than 15 minutes now. They also have no hand sanitizer for guests to use going in and out of the restaurant for pick up. A mix up? I placed an online delivery order and marked it Pay with Cash. A few minutes later I received a call from "No Caller ID" twice in a row. I didn't answer the call. A minute or two later I received a call from (925) 255-1814. Mountain Mike's in Hercules phone # is (510) 245-1100. I answered the call. The person (sounded like a woman) said that there was a problem processing my card and that I need to prepay. I said excuse me, I'm sure that I marked Pay with Cash on my order. She said no and gave some bogus reason. I said that doesn't sound familiar, so what are you going to do now? She then hung up. I then called Mountain Mike's to let them know. The man who answered did not respond at first. He then said they got my order and I had marked Pay with Cash. I explained that I was warning them of possible fraud. He then said the delivery driver just left. If there was a mix up in orders, then just apologize and say so. But to call me back from an unfamiliar phone number and ask me to prepay when I marked Pay with Cash, that seems suspicious. If customers are ordering online, marking Pay with Cash, then not paying on delivery (or whatever the circumstance), then stop accepting cash delivery orders. I had returned to Mountain Mikes' in Rodeo for the 2nd time in a week because I had enjoyed their salad bar so much the first time. The second time was not so good. I did 2 trips to the salad bar. I started feeling a bit of stomach upset/easiness within 20 minutes after I left. Within the next 2 hours I had developed a full scale 'diarrhea that lasted for the next 3 hours +. It was not good. I was at a restaurant to meet a friend in Mill Valley and I literally was standing outside the door of the bathroom for more than 5 times. It really sucked. I was praying for it to end. The Mountain Mikes' is run by what looks like an ethnic 'Indian' family from India. I don't eat at Indian Restaurants as I constantly get diarrhea from the Indian food. I'm not sure WHY this has happened. it can only mean partly that the food has not been cleaned enough and there is bacteria. I will not eat at their salad bar again. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I mean the pizza is good (that is the only thing I order from this place) and I always get delivery. I never have eaten at this place so I wouldn't be able to tell you how clean or dirty it is or how good or crappy the service was at the register. Every time I call to order for delivery, the cashier knows what I'm talking about. She gets my order correct and that's that. Ordering/delivery time takes a total of 1 hour or 1 hour and half at the most. So keep that in mind when you are ordering for delivery. Not down for the wait? Order online to pick up. As far as the pizza - it's good. Better quality than the mountain mikes in Martinez but not better than the mountain mikes in el sobrante! That one is by far #1! read more
