Dirty tables with employees sitting, and not working

Walked in to maybe 4 clean tables. One employee was behind the counter on her phone, the other was sitting down at the table doing nothing. We wanted to sit in front of the tv to watch ufc fights but we couldn't bc the table was dirty. The employee told us to sit at a different table bc it was clean, instead of cleaning it for us to sit at. After the employee took our order, the two employees sat down and ate instead of cleaning up the tables that were a mess. I went to the restroom, there was no toilet paper in any stall. The garbage can was full. The toilets were disgusting. When our pizza came, the employee brought us plates but walked so slow as if she had no energy to be at work. I've never walked into a restaurant that had employees sitting around doing nothing meanwhile more than half the restaurant is dirty. More staff showed up, but all they did was speak to eachother in a different language across the restaurant. Which I feel is very rude. The pizza was good, but not good enough to come back again considering the horrible hospitality.

Food was surprisingly very good. Not skimpy on the meat at all like some other pizza chains. The crust was fluffy and soft to chew. Cheese pull was cheesing. Price is not too bad. Paid about $60 for a large and medium. They have a special offer on their website. $27.99 for a large, originally $33. I enjoyed my pizzas very much.

We ordered over $100 of food a few Sunday's ago from here. A veggie pizza, bbq wings, two salads and a cinnamon dessert pizza. Everything was undercooked and gross. The pizza was raw and my dad found a wood piece in it. Glad he did before biting into it. The salads were covered with fresh veggies but once you uncovered the lettuce, let's just say ewww... Wilted and old. The wings were still raw. They cinnamon pizza was still doughy. Luckily DoorDash refunded most of our money. We lost our appetite and ordered Taco Bell.

Called on New Year's Eve around 7pm couldn't believe they were open, they saved me! They were busy considering the holiday, so my mountain sized pepperoni took about 40 minutes, but when I arrived and checked in not only did I get a 10% off coupon, my pizza was ready! It even came with parmesan and red pepper packets and two sides of ranch! Even though they were busy they were accommodating and thorough! I really enjoy this location!

Called in and got a pepperoni pizza. Picked it up took it home. It was cold. I am very disappointed! But put it in the oven and cooked it for 15min on 400 degrees and it can out wonderful. Not sure why it was cold. ;( read more

Pizza is good... I'll start there. Basic, kinda looks like a Digiorno's from the store, but was good and the kids liked it. However... Service was curt and unfriendly. Only 1 of the 2 video games worked... Not fun for the kids Got the salad bar, but iceberg lettuce of course... Ordered a beer and it was skunky So, 2 stars, OK in a pinch, but there's gotta be a better place around here. Was around the corner from the hotel and gave it a shot... The only reason im even giving this pizza stars is because the pizza is TASTY. Very fresh topped with ingredients and delicious. But there customer service is less then great. I called in for delivery and they could not get my credit info correct. I had to repeat myself over 6 times. They tried to hang up on me without repeating my order to verify that it was correct. I liked the pizza and will order again. I hope they work on being more polite. read more

I have never been spoken to so rudely, after being on hold for 8 min, And then having to call back to be told to hold again, and then hung up on after asking for HER name. I would rather eat at another mountain mikes than be treated like that. They do not deserve my business. I would hope that a part of management will reach out to me, but most importantly address this employee directly. This happened at 12:15pm on 3/7/19. read more

I'm very happy with this restaurant. I had made a mistake on my online order and chose the wrong place. Jamie at this location said no problem and called the other place in Tracy. They other store refused and said I would have to drive all the way back and get it. They told her that it's a $50 order and they can't do that. I would've had to drive through the bad traffic I had just came through just to get it. Jamie held her ground and got them to finally refund my order. I really appreciate it when someone helps me, especially on a long day like today was. read more

I like Mountain Mike's pizza, but this establishment is very shady. Stopped in for lunch a year ago, specifically for the salad bar. Every container was empty or near so. Had to ask for them to be refilled, and only half were resupplied. Attitude left something to be desired. Just now ordered a large half and half, and an extra-large veggie. Got there and was told they were "out" of extra-large's, so they'd substituted two larges for the extra-large, and it would be at the same price. Only after getting back home did I look at the receipt and notice I'd been charged for two large veggies - nearly $15 more than my original order of an extra large. Never again. Good pizza - shady-ass owners. read more

I can't speak to how clean the restaurant is or how good the staff is because I've never been inside a Mountain Mike's Pizza joint, so my review is only based on having just one of their delicious pizzas. Today a coworker brought in a big pizza box with the words "Indian Style" scribbled across it and it was one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time! It was little pieces of tender and flavorful tandoori heaven on a yummy pizza crust and now I want one of my very own. I checked the website and it's not on the menu, so I dunno if it's as easy as asking for "Indian Style" or it takes a magic word or a secret handshake to get this delight, so if someone knows how for sure, let me know! read more

Mountain Mike's has one of the best gluten free crust pizzas. Their pizza in general is good. You pay more than many other chains like Dominoes, but it is better pizza. This location has been very good about service. My wife is disabled, so we do not get out that much, so good service is important. read more

Of all the Mountain Mikes in the area this one is the cleanest thus the safest to eat at in my opinion. No worries of insects in the salad and rats in the kitchen (well at least they don't make it as obvious as some of the other establishments in the chain). read more

Waited one hour for a pizza, I then witnessed the most horrifying thing I've ever seen, they took the metal pan they cook pizza on and stook it in the trash as to pat it down and make more space and put it back into the clean rack as if nothing ever happened. EDIT next day: My four friends and I got sick, that was the only thing we ate the same that day. read more

We order here for special pizza occasions. The delivery is always late (why 4 stars) but the pizza is fresh and the toppings are plenty. They charge more than Milans or Little Cesears.... so not our weekly treat. The pizzeria itself is small inside and dark... traditional wood tables.... and benches for decor -- nothing to say welcome. read more

Good little stop on your way to the capital. You know this place gave me a feel like Me & Eds, or like Round Table. Really nice to find a crisp thin crust pizza with fresh ingredients that is from a local dive. Oh and thanks to you yelpers, I decided to eat here. Thanks all. The pizza is good and the beer is ice cold. The service well they could use some training! I went there tonight and ordered the salad bar. It was pretty basic and good but the workers keep asking me are you gonna get another serving because we are gonna close it. I hadn't even served myself yet lol. Why they would sell me the salad bar if they went to close it I have no clue... again the beer is cold lol. I don't know if the guy that is of Indian decent was the manger of owner but he felt the need to scold one of his employees in front of customers NOT cool! read more

Terrible service!!!!!!! Understaffed and the people who work there don't seem to know about time management. It took an hour to make my one large pizza. I order takeout when staying at nearby hotel. Don't even bother with the salad bar - it is rarely stocked. The takeout was ok at best. My second (and last visit), I tipped over 20% on a takeout order. When my credit card statement arrived, I found they had upped the tip another 10%! I checked my receipt - it was filled out clearly and completely. I don't trust this place. I don't eat where I don't trust. read more

I also remembered their pastas coming with garlic bread but I had to order garlic bread the last time. Anyways, the actual cook of the pasta has been consistently good so I can't complain there. They aren't the quickest to get your food out but for the overall quality I am pretty much always willing to wait for well prepared food. After a long days work I was going to go to the taqueria next door where I know I will get good service and great food. I saw mountain mikes and thought to go a tad healthier with the salad bar. Within seconds after I walked in I was doubting my choice as the lady at the register with tatoos on her arms which is absolutely fine just want to make sure for management to identify her just started at me like "what are you doing here". I smiled and asked if there was a salad bar lunch special, she said "uh huh ". Ok great I'll take one. $14.14 was her reply. She passes me my receipt, I say thank you and she looks dead at me and walks away. What happened to hospitality, good customer service, a smile or just a greeting. Very RUDE. If you want to feel comfortable, while paying premium price for an ok salad bar do NOT come here. Above all I would have to blame management for lack of training or keeping a customer service employee on who makes zero effort to make sure customers feel like they might want to come back. I will definitely not be coming back. read more

We went to mountain mikes the other day after we saw a big sign saying they had a buffet ! All you can eat pizza ,garlic sticks, and dessert ! Now we went at 11 and it was from 11 until 2 I think maybe later. So we got there and no pizza ready. Just salad. We waited and they finally brought out a pepperoni pizza and garlic sticks. We never saw any other pizza. No cheese or a combo pizza. So we made due with what they brought out. Then no desert so hubby asked them. They acted like they didn't know what there sign said. So they rushed in back and made a pizza with cinnamon sugar. I really don't complain much but I was so disappointed. I love mountain mikes. ! They could do so well if it was planned better. This review is base on costumer service. Twice I have come to eat after the pandemic. The only reason I come back is because the pizza still good. But boy, the are some really rude people working here. I say hello, the guy literally ignore me. Place my order, all I heard was " do you want a receipt " here or to go". We went there to watch the Superbowl, and it worked out fine. Three large (70" I assume) TVs on the walls. They brought our large pizza (half pepperoni, half Everest) out in a short time and it was very tasty. Later we got the pizza cookie for dessert and that also hit the spot. read more
