Great pizzas great service l have been buying from them for two years and never had a problem

Nasty place for a food establishment. I wrote a review on this place but somehow it was removed. Do not order food from this place until you make an on-site visit. It absolutely is the filthiest place serving food I have ever been to. Stopped after the movies with my grandson to pickup a couple of pizzas. I have been to Mountain Mikes on McHenry before but never the one on Prescott and Standiford. If you order delivery from this place, you need to visit the spot your pizza is coming from. I should have walked out immediately but my grandson was hungry. The place is nasty and unclean a place as I have ever seen. Food on the floor, which I am pretty sure has never been swept or mopped in a good long while. Not sure how this place passes the health inspection. The pizza was ok and didn't make us sick so that's a plus. Please visit this place before you order home delivery, you may want to go elsewhere. Just say no to this location! And please stay away from the salad bar. read more

Just order a large pikes pizza, wasn't told until after we paid that there was a hour to hour and a half wait before they could deliver three miles away. Deliver came an hour and ten minutes later BURNT. Worse Mountian Mike Pizza Ever! Manager wanted us to replace the pizza by returning it and getting a new one. Ridiculous! Will not eat here again. While this is not cheap, it is less expensive than Round Table Pizza. I was really looking for Pizza Plus, but I like Mountain Mike's. It's just that $12.99 for a 10 inch Mt. McKinley seems too much. They have a $6.99 mini but I make the 10 inch into two meals. So, with my 10 inch Mt. McKinley pizza and my buddy's 10 inch pizza, just with sausage, and two drinks, it was just over $30. It seems so much for just two people, even though it might be better to go with the mini size and not take anything home. (At my favorite pizza place in the world, they have a 6 inch deluxe for $2.99 lunch special, and it's under $10 for a 9 inch deluxe and fountain drink.) The person taking our order was friendly and eager to please--and she listened well. It took a while for the pizza, but then, they had some call-in orders in between, and it should be about 15 minutes per pizza anyway. We didn't have trouble finding a clean table, but I think that's unusual. Things were actually going well, which I don't usually expect. Going to Me and Ed's was a mess and it's a circus with all of the little kids, so it was good to go here instead where it was almost empty. Oh, and the pizza? It was just fine, as expected. They seem to be consistent, and for the price, they should be loaded, which they are. I could do with less for less, but most places don't do that. The good thing is that this chain is in the SF Bay Area, so I can find one when I'm craving pizza there and not have to worry about getting something I won't like. read more

Mountain Mike's Pizza use to be my favorite! But now it is just "BAD!" Today, I paid for a Mountain size pizza, and it was not the best. For the money you are spending, around 45.00- 50.00 dollars just go somewhere else. And on top of it, you now have to pay for the ranch (0.80 cents) per each one! Great friendly customer service the pizza is amazing and the salad bar is sooo good everything's fresh love it.

Ordered pick up today (Super Bowl). 35 minutes. ALL of the employees were amazing. Despite the packed place they were very conscious of everyone's orders and waiting time. They even gave me ranch to go instead of having to self serve at the salad bar. The wait wasn't the best but the customer service was superb. The cost for the medium pizza was $20. It was very worth it. Eat it fresh because even after a ten minute car ride the taste is not the same as fresh out the oven. read more

The MM location I usually order from apparently had their delivery driver call in sick so they couldn't deliver to me so I called the Standiford location to see if they would. I have trained people for over 15 years, and there are things I always look for when I hire staff members: A pleasant smile and an attitude with worth. My daughter was just born and my fiancee chose mountain mikes particularly this location since we always order from there. I phoned in a takeout order and happened to mention it was bc my daughter was just born. We had issues with the McHenry location and the manager, some how we were blacklisted there and the manager refused an explanation or even provide her name so when we contact corporate as instructed there'd be a name for corporate to reference back to for any questions they may have. Frustrated we then called this location and even though we are technically not in the delivery zone they gladly accepted our order. Wonderful customer service and very helpful trying to figure out the mess. Will gladly continue to give this location our business. read more

When it comes to delivery this place is the worst!! They tell you a time you will receive your pizza and for us it's been an additional hour or more!! We have gotten pizza from them for years but no more!! If it's going to take 2 hours to get your pizza just say that! The best pizza joint in Modesto!! I had a small get together for a friend I arrived unannounced and was welcomed with a friendly staff. They assured me I could use the room to the left. They let me decorate and everything. I ordered pizza and drinks. Everything was perfect. The pizza the young woman named candace suggested was awesome. Everyone loved it the most. The service there was impeccable and the food superior to most pizza places in town. The restaurant was clean including the restrooms. Then waited over an hour for my order,while employees joked and played around behind the counter. Why advertise a "promised time" on the app if it's not acurate? It included a bag with plates, toppings, and napkins; thank you! 4 Stars for the curbside pickup. At my pick-up time, I called the number as the sign instructs on the door and was quickly put on hold. After about a minute or two on hold, a worker brought out an order to another customer and asked those of us standing outside for our names. She said she'd go check on the orders so I ended the call on hold. Overall, it took only 6 to 7 minutes to get my order. Not bad. If the pick-up was more organized, I would have given 5 stars. 2 Stars for the phone experience. One of the reasons I have been frustrated with this location is due to being put on long holds. In the past, I have hung up and ordered elsewhere (where there's better phone responsiveness). This time, 15 minutes after placing an online order and not receiving an acknowledgment email (as it says to expect), I called to make sure it was received. After 4+ minutes on hold, it took just seconds for a very friendly girl to verify they indeed had my order. I rated 4 stars overall because we really enjoyed the pizza, but the owner or manager needs to expand the phone service. The person who answers is very nice and friendly but needs help. Ordered a large chicken pizza over the phone for pick up. The girl said it would be 35-45 minutes, which made me wonder since it was almost 730 on a Wednesday night. Once I got to the location I was baffled. They had several workers on staff standing around and talking in the back area, which is visible from the salad bar, and it still took close to 40 minutes for my pizza to be ready! The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because my boyfriend loved the pizza, but next time we are going somewhere else! The mountain mikes Christmas party has their pizzas, but the lobby full of angry customers don't have pizza. Tables are a filthy, cashier was rude, quoted 25 extra minutes for the pizzas, then quoted 10 more minutes, then quoted 10 more minutes, didn't offer anything for the inconvenience. Now I have mixed emotions about this place. When we get delivery it's 4 stars at least. Went there one day for lunch with co-workers and dining in gets 2.5 stars. The salad bar was very sloppy from people not being careful while helping themselves. The pizza they had setting out was dried out, the pepperoni was overcooked and the sauce was not very good.
