    Vodka sauce pizza
    Heather M.

Driving through town, we found this place via other Yelp reviews, and very pleased. The pizza was delicious, crust held really well and so tasty. Loved the vodka cream red sauce. We added on the Italian sausage, also tasty. For starters, the trifecta, with their meatball, garlic knots and wings, all delicious, with a side of ranch for the wings! We ordered a Hazy IPA and that was good too. The service was great, friendly guy waited us. The ambiance was fine, we didn't want any place fancy. The tables were a bit crowded, so we opted for bar style table. There was a big party there so noise level seemed a bit loud. Oh and I don't usually give out 5 star reviews, would do 4.5 for these folks!

Down to Earth vegan pizza, so good!

This is one of our go to spots for pizza! We've always had a good experience here, with good service. There's a bar seating, tables and booths. We mainly come here because of the good, maybe best vegan pizza options in Sonoma County, they have a whole section Vegetarian and Vegan section on menu. They also offer gluten free crust. And have a good selection of beers, including one NA beer. The biggest size pizza they offer is 12" that's my only complaint, wish they offered bigger sizes to share more and have leftovers, because it's good! We recently ordered the Down to Earth pizza with their regular crust and it was really good! And I always make a dash over to Whole Foods next door for some vegan ranch! They have pizza slices. This place is good good and definitely recommend and we will continue to come here!

Interior of Stonework Pizza & Tap in Petaluma.

A great place for pizza and a nice local addition to the Petaluma food scene, Stonework Pizza & Tap represents a labor of love for owners Pat and Laura Townsley, whose pizza making journey began with Creekside Pizza & Taproom in San Anselmo. Located in the Meridian Commercial Center that is anchored by a Whole Foods Market, Stonework Pizza & Tap opened earlier this year taking over the home that was once Rafy's Pizza. Stonework is so named because they "push-out" their handcrafted pizzas on stone slabs whose materials are sourced from quarries, landscaping suppliers and stone fabricators throughout Sonoma County. In keeping with this theme at Stonework, they prefer to call their pizza "stone-fired gourmet craft pizza," as they are inspired by pizza dough that is predominate in New York with their twelve inch pies that aspire to use premium locally sourced toppings which gives their pizza a nice flavor combination and balanced finish. Also known for their craft beers served on tap, in addition to cider and kombucha and support for serving Sonoma County wines what brought a friend and I here on recent weekend afternoon after a day of wine tasting was a desire for sustenance and to support a new local establishment, plus the fact that they have Happy Hour on weekends was a bonus. When we arrived a little after 4 p.m. they were not busy, as they had just opened for the day for service, but when we left about ninety minutes later, their small dining room was packed with diners. The menu at Stonework Pizza & Tap is split into three types of pizzas, fourteen Specialty Pizzas featuring proteins or meat, eight Specialty Vegetarian or Vegan Pizzas, as well as many options under the Build Your Own Pizza. We decided to split their Sonoma Stampede Speciality Pizza which had red sauce and mozzarella, in addition to being topped with all their premium meats including salami, pepperoni, Italian sausage, BBQ chicken, Applewood smoked bacon, and Stonework meatballs, topped with a marinara drizzle. Their menu has Appetizers, Salads and Desserts and to start our meal, we decided to share their Trifecta, which featured one of their Must-Have Meatballs, which were made of Angus beef and served on a bed of marinara and topped with parmesan cheese; two of their Garlic Knots, which are brushed with their blend of butter, olive oil, herbs, garlic and sea salt; and three of their Wings Over Midtown, which were marinated in garlic, paprika and cayenne pepper. After an afternoon of wine tasting, we chose not to enjoy any beer on tap or glasses of wine, and it was more than okay as our appetizer came out first and it was a great way to experience any of their dishes without ordering them all, plus the size of the dish was perfect for us first timers. Then our pizza came out and it was the perfect size to share between two people with so many fresh ingredients on every slice, we easily could have enjoyed a pizza by the slice and been more than satisfied. Despite not enjoying any of their signature beverages, we really had a wonderful time at Stonework Pizza & Tap, as their food is hearty and well composed. The energy is fun as they have sports and music videos playing on their two flat-panel screens which faces their small bar in which diners can see their beers being poured from the tap up close. Our total bill was $34.60 before gratuity was added in, which was reasonable since we received enough food with two extra pizza slices to take home for a future meal, as they offer 5 dollars off all pizzas, and two dollars off all appetizers among other discounts. We just wish the Happy Hour were longer to enjoy as the food, service and vibe at Stonework Pizza & Tap rocks as they are a welcome addition to the local Petaluma dining scene that will hopefully be here for years to come!

Clean plate club. Pizza was so good didn't get a chance to take a pic until it was all gone.

Delicious pizza. It's super cozy and the staff were very friendly. I'm not a big fan of pizza but it was so good here I would 100% come back next time I'm in the area. It was not too doughy, it was just crispy enough without being burnt, the sauce was just delicious. We got the Siberian Husky.

    Housemade Focaccia

Wow. This place was amazing. Traveled to the area for work and Yelp brought me here. My husband and I ordered the homemade focaccia, 6 piece buffalo wings and the old faithful pizza (simple pepperoni). The food was absolutely divine and the prices are great! Customer service was above and beyond. I asked for lemon with my water and the staff walked next door to Whole Foods to grab some lemon since they were out! We will be back!

Just received a margarita pizza through doordash it arrived lukewarm with dry sauce and dry cheese, like it was yesterday's Pizza reheated. Clearly the Dasher did not put in a heat bag. Disappointed for sure because it's been very good in the past. Can't using my stove to reheat because I'm getting a new kitchen floor and was just looking forward to a nice warm Pizza. Every here twice in the microwave, yuk.

Stonework's pizza crust is one of my favorites! The sourdough crust is a perfect balance of crispiness and chew. In addition to different meat combination pizzas they also offer vegetarian and vegan pizza choices which I personally really appreciate. On our last visit we had The Olympian pizza with Miyoko's vegan cheese. Yum! The salad we had was a good value and tasty. Plus the Pinot on tap was delicious and so reasonably priced. And to top it off the service is really good too!

So we were searching for the Big chicken beer from He house and saw that this place got some. We stopped by and I was completely shocked how great there beer selection was and the pizza and service was great. Not only did I get the beer I was searching for I also got to try a few new one. They have over 12 local Sonoma County beers on tap. Pizza great , crust was perfect, We even had a dessert. Friendly staff and perfect place with plenty of parking.

The Sonoma Stampede. If you're a meat lover, you'll absolutely love this pizza!

I got the prosciutto, fig and jam puff pastry. So yummy and the crunch on the layers were definitely on point. I also grabbed me a chocolate chip cookie which is huge and probably the same size as my face. And of course my sweet tooth wouldn't let me walk away from the register without grabbing a brownie. Took my girlfriends here for some pregame breakfast bites before one of our tournaments and they loved everything they got. So many things to choose from, you'll probably leave with a box. Strawberry maritozzi: Of all of the pastries this was actually my last favorite. I felt like the bread was a bit dry and flavorless. The cream was good however and not too sweet like your typical American dessert. I think if they could some how use a different type of bun that isn't as dry, this would be amazing. 2. Caprese Sandwich (wrap): This was incredible. I really liked this sandwich. It was so flavorful and the balance of the pesto and chicken was amazing. Highly recommend. Very large and filling too. 3. Mushroom focaccia: Loved this! Focaccia was fluffy and a very generous amount of mushrooms on top. 4. Passion Fruit pasty: I LOVED this! It reminds me of being in hawaii again and reminded me of the malasalas there however in a pastry dough form. 5. Chocolate pistachio croissant: High quality pasty very fluffy and light with huge amount of chocolate. Overall, I felt like the savory items were incredible and overshadowed the sweet items. The sweet were still good though. Everything was high quality and fairly priced. Only item that I wouldn't get again is the Maritozzi.
