We love Mountain Mikes in Windsor. So we are evacuated from the Kincade fire, I thought, let's do Mountain Mikes. I called to order a pizza so I could just drive and pick it up. When I told the the woman that I would like to order a pizza to go. She asked if I could hold and I said yes. After she didn't come back, I assumed they were super busy so I decided to just walk in and order. When I went in. Only one person was dining. Hmm, ok! I asked her, about 15minutes? She said no, 25 to 30 min. Okay maybe they have a lot of deliveries. Came back at 20minutes, pizza was ready. Excited to sink our teeth into our pizza, we dove in. That was a bad idea. Pizza wasn't even Luke warm, the crust was not what we were used to and tasted nothing like Mountain Mikes that we area Custom to. Not a location I would recommend. Try Rohnert Park and Windsor. Both of those locations are great! read more

I ordered some things for delivery and half of the items showed up. The delivery guy apologized and said he'd be right back with the rest of the order. Forty minutes later I called and the guy who answered the phone said he didn't know what I was talking about but he saw my food sitting there and the delivery guy had never come back to pick it up. At this point it's almost 10pm so I asked for a full refund of all food since the service I paid for was incomplete and the food I had ordered and received was now cold. He said he couldn't do that and offered me a partial refund. I refused and said I would call the owner at a later date. I called later that week to speak to the owner and instead got the manager who also refused to refund me my full order. She offered me a partial refund and a pizza on the house. I told her I wasn't coming back and just wanted my full refund. Again she refused so I gave her my number to give to the owner for a full refund because I hadn't returned the food that had been delivered to me. So now apparently not only can they not bring me my delivery but it's my job to get in my car and re-deliver the food back to them. She also told me they had to fire the driver who never delivered my food. The owner still never called me back and instead the general manager called me. He told me he also could only do a partial refund. At this point I was so pissed off I told him fine, a partial refund and the free pizza and I wasn't coming back. He then told me since I had refused the pizza the first time that was now off the table and I could only get a partial refund...this place is full of inept people. Please, please don't go here. It's the first time I had ever tried this place and clearly I'll never be back. Also, the food was really bad. There are so many other better pizza places in Petaluma like Hectors, The New Yorker and Old Chicago. Spend your money there instead. read more

I am a fan of Mountain Mikes!!!!!!!! I have always loved their pizza as well as prices. The deals they offer are always great as well as their lunch specials and all you can eat buffet. I ordered a large combination pizza and had a coupon for a free medium one topping pizza. The medium pizza was covered with pepperoni and delicious. People there are great. I ordered a medium pepperoni and beef pizza with mushrooms and green peppers from this location but I was a bit disappointed! I really liked the quality at their Novato location, very well made and delicious but not the same quality for Petaluma location. The pizza was decent but I dont think it will be a go to for me. My order came out to be about 23$ which is not too bad for a medium pizza but my pizza did not match that quality at all! Inconsistency is a killer. Normally I am a fan of mountain mikes. It feels like a less expensive round table which is good but way too pricey. We have ordered from this location a handful of times. Some of the time the pizza is really good. Just what I was expecting. This time...not so much. We ordered mozzarella sticks too. Not good. They tasted like flour or undercooked and were cold when they got here. I know that there's only so much that can be expected when it's delivery so I gave the sticks a pass, but the pizza was not very good either. It's like it had been sitting out for a couple hours, which is strange because the location is pretty close and delivery was fast. So far every time we have ordered from here, they have done an excellent job making and delivering our pizza. The crust is crispy, not doughy. The toppings are quality toppings. I have had a very disappointing pizza ordering experience here. The cashiers are unaware of the deals, GROUPONS, and also lack the skill to provide assistance on ordering the pizza by phone. I think these are a bunch of kids who think they are COOL that they work in a pizza shack but I would clearly say they have a very bad costumer service. This place used to be my favorite even though dealing with the sad excuse of a customer service person named Janae. She has no personality, doesn't listen, talks to ppl while your trying to place the order and is plain rude! Last night we call at about 8:30pm and of course its Janea who answers. I ask to place two orders for the same house and was told it was fine. I place my first order, provided my card info and she said order was placed and that it would take an hour(no biggie). I hand the phone to my friend sam so she could place the second order. The girl kept repeating herself, didn't even listen to what she wanted, kept plaving her on hold and stated she never placed the first order and wanted yo know what we wanted. finally sam asked to speak to a supervisor because Janea was not listening. Sam asked for her name and she said she was not comfortable providing that and there was no one available to speak to her. Sam believes someone else by the name of Makayla then got on the phone to take the orders. I took the phone and asked if my card had been charged and why this was becoming a problem. She hung up on me. Nice right. We drive to the restaurant and I ask to see Janea and was told she left. Makayla said she left. I asked why she hung up on me and she said the call dropped. Mind you they have a phone with a cord connected and its a land line. She said she was just about to call me back(25 mins later!???) I asked if our orders had been placed and she said she couldn't find the order that Natasha had placed(I thought her name was Janea!??? Wtf) and asked a man to check who looked lost. I told them to cancel the orders because they could not get their stories right and walked out. Then I get a call from the shift lead who said he was about to drop my food off... First of all they said there was no supervisor.. My food would take an hour... Now all the sudden a supervisor is coming to drop off our order that they couldn't find??? No thanks. I said what I needed to say and disconnected. I called today to ask to speak to the manager and the same shift lead answered from last night said no one was available. I have been here many times. But I always put up with rude, uninterested, unfriendly teenagers that get the order wrong, have you wait too long, and look at your cross eyed for asking for a plate. I had a coupon and heard it was good so we gave it a try. The coupon was for a large 1 topping pizza for 12.99. I ordered peperoni and olive (a 2 topping pizza) and it was $4 bucks more. I was a little bent out of shape about $4 for olives. Anyway, the pizza was OK. Like a knock off of Round Table but the toppings were really skimpy. The problem with pizza is that it's easy to make it decent, and difficult to make it great-This pretty much sums up Mountain Mike's. It's not bad pizza by any means, but it's essentially a slightly improved version of Round Table. It's a standard crust, not thick, not thin, that (in my experience) has always been cooked fully. Some interesting combinations (word to the wise-the garlic sauce is GARLICKY!) and fresher toppings than Domino's etc. However, it still retains the dreaded Chain Pizza Taste. For the price here, you'd be better off going to Old Chicago (for deep dish) or Fregene's/Extreme Pizza/Romeo's/New Yorker/Red Boy/Pinky's (for thin crust.) It's pretty dead inside the restaurant (2 people eating inside at 6:30pm last time I was here), but it has a small arcade, which would be great for those with kids who have an aversion to Pinky's. Their lunch buffet is lackluster at best. Despite signs trying to guide people to use a new plate, the staff doesn't seem to mind people recycling plates, which is an automatic no-go for me. Both the pizza and salad looked limp and sad. Bottom line-I don't turn down a slice of Mountain Mike's pizza, but I won't go out of my way to find one. And take your Emergen-C before the lunch buffet. read more

Their pizza is good when they get it right. That's a big WHEN. 5 out of the last 6 deliveries have been incorrect. So now I feel I have to inspect the pizza now before the driver leaves my house. Also, the coupon deals are good. But beware they over-charge anyway. I used a coupon last night and was over-charged by a couple bucks when I broke it all down. But this was also the first time I have checked the receipt/coupon. I usually don't even pay attention - which is my bad I guess. Not sure I'll be re-ordering from here again. Ordered a mushroom and sausage pizza last night. Had the buffet there about a year ago and it wasn't very good but we decided to try a fresh and hot pie this time. The crust was cooked but it's more like bread with topping. There was hardly any sauce and the mushrooms were so chopped up you could hardly see them or taste them. I think I found 2 slices on the entire pie. The sausage was good but that's the only good thing. We're done and will no longer be customers. There's lots better pizza places out there. read more

I generally love mountain mike's pizza, but was extremely disappointed with this location! When my pizza arrived, it was not fully cooked. The dough was not cooked all the way through and the sausage was still pink and raw in the center. I called to get a new pizza delivered and was asked how I would like the next pizza cooked and if I wanted it "well done". I felt this was horrible customer service! I never got an apology for the pizza being undercooked and all I wanted was a pizza that was cooked properly, not well done! I also ordered hot wings. they were soggy, but I decided to try eating them and almost instantly had an upset stomach. Clearly they did not take the proper amount of time to cook the whole meal! I was never given a receipt the first time and when I asked for a receipt for the second pizza, the driver said he didn't have one. I like the pizza here....I also like the salad bar but the last two times I Went I tried the potato salad and macaroni salad it was disgusting ....I go there often because my son really likes the mini pizzas and I live right around the corner, but I must say that the service is ridiculous. they are always rude, never smile, and all they do is play on their cell phones in the back and gossip about their weekends at the bar very loudly..... and leave customers waiting at the front while they all gather in the back like it's just a place to gather and socialize. whoever the manager of this place is really should fire these people and get good employees who actually care. the only reason I keep going back is because my son really enjoy the pizza and its very close to where I live otherwise I would say it's not all that great. read more

Just ate here with my family....the only reason they are getting 1 star is because the food was great! Otherwise, 4 of the tables around us were DIRTY and the service was HORRIBLE and the food is OVERPRICED (even for how good it was - it was $6.50 for 4 cheesy garlic sticks and $22.75 for the pizza they had pictured as a "special")! I called before we came in and asked the guy for prices on some basic stuff (personal pizzas, salad bar, etc). His responses were "$5 or something like that..." or "right around 6 bucks...". When we arrived, there was a line almost out the door, most of the people did NOT look happy, then one customer walked in, asked for his pizza he had called in 20 mins prior only to be told they hadn't started it yet! While we were there, this gentlemen sat there for another 20 mins waiting for his pizza! So much for calling it in huh?...then while we were there, the workers were all stumbling around, one worker even dropped a couple of pizza boxes onto the floor (which was as disgusting as the tables) then PICKED THEM up and put a few pizzas to go in them for another customer standing in line! I am in management in the medical industry and I can safely say that the state of this restaurant (from its servers to its environment) had it been my hospital, would have driven even the most desperate "customer" away! read more

Tables were dirty he did not clean one table while I was there. Instead, channel surfed and watched tv I could see his whole backside as his shorts and belt were being held up below his butt. The worst pizza and wings ever!! First of all, the delivery lady asked to come inside the house to take the pizza box out of her bag, which was awkward. Then, when we opened the pizza box, the pizza slices slid all over the place and they were laying on top of each other. The slices were cut way too small and they were very salty and greasy. The wings tasted like they were previously frozen and they had more fat and skin than actual meat. The mozzarella sticks were stale and the cheese wasn't even melted. They also did not give any marinara sauce. The quality of the food definitely wasn't worth $50. The pictures don't match at all with the actual food. Never eating here again!! read more

Ordered a pizza 15min advance. They told me it would only take 10 min. I'm obviously in a rush which is why I ordered it in advance. I get there and the guy takes my money and goes to the back and said they didn't make the order yet and it would take another 10 min. They told me they had the order but didn't make it for no known reason. Btw, place is empty and took more than 10 minutes. I can understand why this place got 3 stars. read more
