Ordered a mountain pizza half Everest half Hawaiian. 30 minutes for pick up thats fine. Get home the pizza was not cooked right. I call nicely to let them know and to ask for a new one, the girl rudely answers that they need the other one back and her explanation is that the Everest cooks different than the Hawaiian that she will make me 2 larges instead, ok fine. I get there and they tell me that next time to ask for it "crispy". Why? And how was i supposed to know that about this combination when the employees never cared to bring it up when i ordered. read more

A couple of months back I was making it a regular routine to go in on Tuesdays because the older manager did such a wonderful professional job and was truly engaging! and the pizza has always been terrific for an excellent price on Tuesdays! I love that they offer specials, I actually live in Tracy but when I called the mountain Mike's here in Tracy they can't even come close to competing with the quality and value of the Rippon Mountain Mike's. I always pick up my pizzas here, so can't comment on delivery. +1 star for having gluten free pizza crust right here in Ripon. +1 star for the great customer service. The dining room is not always full, but their phone rings non-stop, and those girls really hustle to take care of both call-in and dine-in customers, always professional, and with a smile. +1 for really tasty pizza. I usually get the combination and it's loaded. +1 for a clean establishment and nicely appointed dining room. Regarding the other two pizza joints in Ripon, one has great pizza but no gluten free, and the other has terrible, surly service, so, yeah...I think I'll just keep coming here. read more

What a JOKE! This location has disappointed time and time again. We kept giving chances because it's close to the house, but today was the the final straw! The salad bar sucks and is dirty. On numerous occasions we have waited close to an hour for a pizza to be eaten in the restaurant. We order thin crust and they make thick, which has to be returned and remade. We've gone when numerous beer taps are EMPTY! We've gone to watch NBA finals and the ONE TV isnt working!!! But, they won't tell you the tv is broken until AFTER you order and pay. Tonight, the manager, Amanda was a lousy excuse for a manager/supervisor. She was of NO help and has a smart mouth at the same time. They dont have much business that actually stays and eats there, so I suppose there is no reason for customer service skills (which Amanda has none). Save yourself the headache and go to Prescott location in Modesto or go to Round Table in Ripon a block away! DONE with Mountain Mike's Ripon! read more

We tried two different pizza flavors tonight, The Everest and Pineapple Chicken Luau, and both were so delicious!! I recommend this place for a good tasting, affordable pizza without all the greasiness we've experienced in other local pizza parlors. I call ahead and they always have it hot and ready to go. A few friends and myself decided to go out for pizza. We usually go other pizza places but chose Mountain Mike's instead today.. We were not disappointed! We ordered a large Pepperoni and 2 salads. The salad bar looked amazing. Amanda, the store manager, made sure to check on us even though she was clearly busy in the back. I forgot to get the gal's name at the front but she was so helpful. We had asked for the special of the day and Amanda made sure to take care of us. Highly recommend everyone to go see the new place and great staff! read more

This place has been on a steady decline for years. It's true, owner has invested lots of money into it's appearance, I suppose that's why he/she didn't have any time to invest any manners/training into its staff. Horrible beyond horrible service. Spend $50 on pizza, they will still charge you for ranch which is unlike most sit in competitors. Just plan on having to ask for something 3times before you actually get it. Only pro about this location is there are PLENTY of seats at any given time since it's completely empty, so you can always sit wherever you'd like, but then again, you'll be sweating most of the time, it's 90 outside today, thought we could come here to enjoy and cool off, unfortunately you can hardly tell a difference in temperature. We were driving home, I was asked what I'd like for my birthday dinner, and I said Mountain Mike's Pizza. So we ordered by phone for a to-go p-u. It was ready to go when I get there. But I've gotta say, this pizza lived up to my expectations! I love the right amount of garlicky red sauce but most importantly was the crisp crust!!! I don't like to pickup my piece just to have it sag & toppings slide off! I like the crust well done. Called for delivery today and I've never had a problem ever before for 5 years now and now it's a problem. The manager Ryan argued about a cheese pizza and how I should order a cheese pizza...Like really? I spend $80+ dollars and tip the drivers most the time and now I will no longer be ordering from this place ever again here in Ripon! His attitude was very distasteful. I normally have my pizza delivered but today I went in with a coupon for a large specialty pizza so I requested an all meat but half just pepperoni, the young lady said I could not use that coupon for that..I'm sure it's a cheaper deal for them but she said I could not use it so I ordered another larger pepperoni and a medium pizza and a few other things...93 dollars later.. I hear the same young woman taking phone orders telling them Tuesday's specials..25% off any large to go pizzas..which my pizzas were to go..she even let the customer know since she is ordering 3 large pizzas..if she does 3 separate transactions she will get 25% off all 3...soooo I get my pizzas and my specialty pizza is half pepperoni..and she said "oh yeah your coupon worked"..I would have never ordered the other large pepperoni if I knew that...BUT the worse part while I'm waiting is I see a woman in the kitchen wearing flip flops putting pizzas in the oven...that has to be a code violation but right when my pizzas were ready she was bossing the new guy around so I guess only managers can wear flip flops! This is the 2nd time to Mountain Mike's since new owner took over and on the 1st visit we came in after golfing on a Wednesday night at 7:45 p.m. and there was not one person inside except for the 3 employees just sitting at the tables. We were told that we could not dine in but could wait 40 minutes for a to-go pizza? I said really it's not even 8 p.m. and you would turn away business? I called the manager and asked for the owner to return call, nothing happened. Last night finished golf and the 6 of us went there again to give another chance and this time there were a few patrons and now 4 employees just visiting and sitting at high top tables. We ordered 2 large pizzas and some beverages (beer included) girl didn't know how to serve the beer but besides that they served us the first pizza which was for 2 of our guests and 30 minutes later after we clearly saw our pizza sitting on the back counter one of the gals finally brought it to us and said absolutely nothing? No asking us if we needed anything or sorry for the long wait? Very poor customer service both from the employees which were more interested in just sitting and visiting with their friends but also from upper management who never addressed the first visit. Was really looking forward to this grand opening but now will direct all of our pizza business to Pizza Plus down the street because apparently the staff at Mountain Mike's doesnt truly care about our business. read more
