    Bbq and lemon pepper wings

Had dinner with friends here. It was very nice spot. Got tv to watch arch sports games plus space for big party's. The wings are great a lot of season and sauce. The pizza comes to you nice and very hot be care full the topping slide off. They do give you a lot of toppings on the pizza. Would give 5 but one of the servers got agitated because they thought we ordered breadsticks that we didn't Oder. Gave the look that says it all. Most of the workers are nice good people. They do give you a lot of ranch but they don't give you cups for your self. They should give you little cups of ranch. So you're not filling same cup. You mite have to ask for them. The drinks soda are good plus you can take home a drink with you on the way home. It's nice spot to hang out with fiends watch sports game with. I will come again.

I had pizza and chicken wings from Awsom Wings and Pizza Restaurant. I ordered the 16 X 16 meal special. It comes with a 16 inch pizza and 16 wings for only $40. The pizza was pretty good. The wings were a bit of a disappointment. It wasn't bad but I have had much better wings else where. The Korean BBQ sauce was also disappointing. The ranch sauce was much better than the Korean BBQ sauce. The server forgot to pack carrot sticks with my wings. I noticed that other Yelp review photos show carrot sticks with their wings order (after I've finished my meal). I did not received any. Oversight on the part of the server packing up my take out order. I would come back to give them another try because I heard that their garlic parmesan wings are better than the plain ones I had ordered (Again, I found out after I had finished my meal). This restaurant is quite large. It can accommodate large parties. It has a lively atmosphere.

There is street parking and a lot in the back. We were greeted right away and got sat shortly after. We ordered or drinks and the cheese balls to start off. Then we placed our order of 16 wings, and a 16" pizza. I wished there was more cheese in the appetizer, but the garlic butter was delicious. The food was the best thing about this place. The wings were hot and the aroma of BBQ sauce was so strong! It was delicious! The pizza was good too. The service wasn't that great. There werent that many guests while we were there. There were about 4 servers/runners that I saw on the floor. I asked our server for a refill. About 5 minutes passed, and another person came by to check on us; asked them for another refill. Another couple of minutes passed, and still nothing. Our server came back, and I asked for another refill. It was another few minutes that passed, but I finally got it after asking 3x. We also ordered the lava cake for dessert and our server said it came with 2 scoops of ice cream. However when it got delivered, there was only one scoop on there. We just accepted it, ate it, and left. Service could have been a lot better, but food was delicious.

Previously Alondra's, AWSOM Wings still does pizza, burgers, and wings, but their menu has downsized. My family went during a Sunday around lunch; it was a pretty quiet dining room. Service was fine; there was only one server working the main dining room (the other side of the restaurant was closed). The decor is still the same, a little outdated but just clean enough to be decent. The three of us ordered the buffalo cauliflower bites to start (this appetizer could've easily been an entree with how many cauliflower pieces there were), and we got the chicken bacon avocado sandwich, the buffalo chicken sandwich, and the pepperoni pizza off the kids menu. Everything was good! Nothing crazy but it hit the spot, and it took us back to the Alondra days. The pepperoni pizza was an individual sized pizza, which is pretty big compared to other kid pizzas at other places. Definitely a good spot to try out, just wish it was a little cleaner and they updated the decor to match with their rebrand.

I've been roaming through LA County a lot the past few months because my GF lives over there. We were strolling through Alhambra and she pointed out AWSOM for having decent wings so I wanted to try them out. Buffalo Wild Wings and Wingstop used to be years ago but I'm not a fan anymore so I'm looking for other restaurants to be my new go-to place for wings. Here's what I've tried so far: **AWSOM Famous Cheeseballs: Who doesn't love cheeseballs with a side of marinara? I've heard these were good but they didn't hit the mark. The exterior was extremely hard so I'm sure we had them on their off-night so I will be trying it another time. **Individual Multi-Topping Pizza: You can get up to 5 toppings for a single price so I opted to get pepperoni, green bell peppers, and black olives. For a wing place, their pizza was incredible. The crust was heavily coated with garlic so that's a plus. Every single topping had a generous amount and it's plenty of food for an average adult. **Medium Buffalo Wings: Solid buffalo wings. Wings had plenty of meat and sauce. Flavor was spot on so no complaints. Everything we've had were great. I've been here twice and the service has been spectacular both times. They have a great selection of beer on tap including my favorites, Elysian's Space Dust and Golden Road's Mango Cart.

I actually recently went here tonight. Our server was named Amanda and she was very nice and sweet to us and to her customers. We ordered the buffalo chicken fries, and it was just not really good at all. The fries were smothered with buffalo sauce and it made the dish very soggy and not delicious at all. I feel like you should just sprinkle a little bit of buffalo sauce and not like the whole bottle. The french fries was also not crispy like what you would think. It tasted like it was microwaved and NOT fried. But our chicken wings that we ordered, were perfect. I would definitely come back for the chicken wings, but NOT for the french fries. The ambience here was very loud, but that's okay because there was a football game going on. And the fans were cheering for their favorite team. Served Amanda was AWSOM!!! Chicken Wings were AWSOM!!! Buffalo Chicken Fries were... NOT awsom :(

Been coming to Alondras aka Awsom Wings for years now and let me tell you they always treat my family like family. The food is amazing, Arling sauce is wings pizza is and the fries . The staff always friendly and they always make sure we have everything we need. Thank you for that. The ambiance is family friendly and always a vibe

As a team we all agreed on going to AWSOM for our Christmas holiday event. Walked in and was greeted by one of the owners and we were taken to our table and offered water and were given details of the lunch specials they have. I went ahead and ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and a Cesar salad instead of fries. Presentation of the food was overall amazing and the taste even betters the chicken was fried to perfection and the sandwich overall was put together so nicely. My co workers got the fish and shrimp combo which she said was delicious! The owner realized we had a gift exchange going and decided to join and gifted us a discount card! Thank you so much for that and the comp beignets! You made our holiday lunch even better! Definitely will be coming back. I already have people asking me where did I eat from on my social media so lunch dates coming soon!

    Philly cheesesteak on baguette

I walked into Awsom Wings thinking, "Wait... is this the same space as Alondra's Hot Wings or am I just getting old?" Honestly, I haven't been here in a while, so for all I know it's the same exact building and I'm the one who changed. Either way, the place feels more open and roomy now -- like they pushed the walls out just enough so everyone can inhale properly. The vibe is great for watching sports: big TVs, lots of space, and strangers who will 100% yell at the screen with you like you've known each other for years. I kinda miss the old darker bar vibe (perfect lighting for hiding your tired face), but the new setup is bright, clean, and really easy to hang out in. Now the food -- awsom. Literally. The wings are crispy, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you order wings. You can't go wrong. I demolished them like I was getting paid by the bone. Tried the Philly cheesesteak too. The meat was just okay for me, but the baguette-style bread? That thing deserves applause. Crunchy outside, soft inside -- like it's been training for this moment its whole life. Their IPA was great too. I forgot the name, but it gave me the perfect smooth buzz to help numb the pain of watching the Lakers lose by 40 points. Honestly, the wings were the emotional support I needed that night. If I have one wish? I wish they would stay open later. Just a little bit. Not asking for 3 AM, just "let me enjoy my wings and feelings for a bit longer" hours. If they expand their hours, that would be truly awsom. Overall: great food, great vibe, great space -- I'm definitely coming back.

    Is there a kids menu?

Hello Cee! Yes, we do have a great kid's menu.

Is it still Alondra's or did it get bought out?

I believe it was bought out. It seems like it regrouped and prioritized quality and what worked and what didn't so they "reinvented" themselves. The inside looks the same, but the quality and taste of the food is SO MUCH better.

Do you have a happy hour menu?

Hello Lupe, yes, we have a great happy hour menu featuring $6 draft pints and $8 pairing menu. We look forward to serving you soon.

The restaurant sells itself as an East meets West, New York Style, California Vibes establishment, and it achieves this effectively. I came by with my daughter on a Saturday afternoon. The inside, see photos, is clean, well organized, filled with TVs playing sporting events, and sporting an open kitchen, and a self-serve beer and wine bar. I especially liked the pizza boxes available to take extras to go, as well as other conveniences easy to grab. After resisting the many delicious looking beer options, I ordered a personal Manhattan Meat lovers pizza ($14), a crisp, well constructed small pizza with excellent crust, no flop, and multiple meaty toppings. My daughter had the Shrimp Scampi with Linguine ($18), which included a trio of garlic knots. The pasta was cooked perfectly el dente, was exceptionally lemony and garlicky which I can appreciate, and included six large shrimp. While the sauce could have been a little thicker I thought this was quite good for a pizza and beer place. Everything was made fresh. The staff was friendly, made good recommendations, helped us get a to go bag, delivered food as it completed with a smile, and overall seemed quite happy to be there. Prices, above, I found to be quite resonance for an independent chain offering food of this quality for sit-down. Mamma's was a surprising hit, offering great food and casual vibes at a great price. They gave us some free garlic knots to start. Delish. You order at the counter and they give you a number. The tables were moderately clean. The (very nice) staff member who came to our table when we realized there were no meatballs asked us to dig under the noodles to see if the meatballs were...hiding? We earnestly asked him, "Do you see any meatballs?" because, I dunno, maybe they were really tiny meatballs? We collectively concluded that there were no meatballs, so some delicious meatballs was brought to our table posthaste. Solid service. They also have this pay-by-the-ounce system of beers, which I had never seen! I've seen it with wines. It's like pinkberry, but with beers! The lentil soup could use a little more salt, some garlic, and a little thyme. And the garlic bread was nothing to write home about. I ordered dessert, and the only dessert they have is tiramisu. I ordered half cheese and half their specialty pizza, which includes mozzarella, Romano cheese, house tomato sauce, Italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, onions, and green bell peppers. Their small pizza is 12 inches and has 8 slices, which is much larger than other places. Petrillo's Specialty Pizza is stacked with generous toppings and has a doughy but crispy bottom - the best of both worlds. I enjoyed the Specialty pizza, especially the Italian sausage. While I'm not a mushroom fan, I ate them anyway. I'll likely hold off on mushrooms next time. They provide generous amounts of complimentary crushed red pepper packets, paper plates, and napkins. Parmesan cheese packets cost extra, about $0.50 each, if I remember correctly. The staff were friendly and are local residents, which is always great to see in a mom-and-pop business. You can eat in or order from the take-out counter on the right side. It's best to order ahead to avoid a 20-25 minute wait. Friendly and efficient service from start to finish. Very chill vibes, set up more for take out. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much but their Detroit style pizzas? Legit. This place ate and left no crumbs! The pizza sauce & toppings were the perfect kind of marriage - tangy & flavorful, cheesy & crusty at the same time. We got vegetarian pizzas(spicy Italian with mushrooms replacing sausage and the Greek!) Perfect crusty edges, while the middle is dense yet soft! Yum. Lots of locals coming in to pick up orders as we sat inside and ate. Towards the end of our meal it sounded as if they were running low on pizzas left for the day, so maybe get there earlier in the day if you want to have all their options available.

I read a lot of the reviews saying the Biggio was where it's at, so I had to try that one. We also did the half and half deal and got the BBQ chicken with it. Amongst the two, the BBQ chicken was overall tastier. The Biggio, although I love meat lover pizza, was a bit too salty for me. The saltiness felt like they could've prepped the meats a bit more but I did feel the heaviness that came with it. The BBQ chicken was a good balance of savory and sweet. I wish the pricing was better and that the pizza was less salty. Overall it's pretty good, but for value I'm going to try and find another deep dish joint.

Ravello Osteria was a pleasant surprise out of nowhere. I've never been or even heard of it, even…read morethough it's been there for a long time. We met for a family dinner - party of 16. We arrived when they opened at 5p and sat in one of their communal tables. It was a hot day and the AC wasn't up to the challenge. With the oven, the crowd and weather, it was rather warm inside. However, I guess it replicated an authentic dining experience in Italy. The restaurant became packed shortly afterwards and the conversations and laughter echoed vibrantly. It felt like we were in Italy. Our server, Alfred, was a pro and a delight. He took care of us without breaking a sweat and always with a smile. We tried many pizzas, salads and pastas. Everything was delish. What really caught my eye was the ribeye steak, which we didn't try. It's a monster ribeye at a very reasonable price. It looked amazing. I have no doubt I will be scarfing down one of those in the near future. I highly recommend a visit if you haven't been. Go hungry and know the portions are generous.

The meatballs were flavorful, tender, and a great way to kick off dinner. The pork wings, though, just weren't for me I'd pass on those next time. The arugula salad was fresh and balanced, and we paired everything with a couple of IPAs, which hit the spot. For the mains, the Carbonara was rich, creamy, and exactly what you'd expect from a comforting pasta dish. The standout of the night was the Amatriciana pizza easily my favorite. Crispy crust, great flavor, and one of those pizzas you keep reaching back for. Overall, if you're looking for a local Italian spot for a relaxed Sunday family dinner, this place is worth checking out. Good food, cozy atmosphere, and enough highlights to bring us back. Solid 4 stars.
