I eat a various locations occasionally so I've seen what their pizzas normally look and taste like. I had been to enough different locations to have had a $20 loyalty credit that I tried to use at this location. Snowy Alps is my favorite pizza here! Love how loaded their toppings are. They don't play around. For the price $35 for a large Snowy Alps, it may sound like a lot but at least it was good! Went to this location for the first time yesterday on a and took advantage of the Tussaud's 40% off a large pizza special. There are plenty of parking spots and it's in the plaza with Marina Grocery. When you walk inside, you'll notice that it's very clean and spacious. I was told my pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, my pizza was ready and I didn't have to wait. Sometimes when I go to other locations, I have to wait a bit even though I showed up the time it was supposed to be ready. My pizza had a good amount of toppings and the crust was tasty. Last minute reservation to hold space for a party of 20 for dining to celebrate my sons birthday after rock n jump down the street and it was the most pleasant experience. I called two days prior to inquire if there was space available and the woman who answered the phone and assisted me was so friendly. She mentioned to call about 30 minutes before arrival this way they could get the pizzas going and into the oven that way when the party got there the pizzas would come out and be hot and fresh. I phoned in to let her know the order the day of the event and she said they would make the pizzas and then put them into the oven closer to two pm so they would be nice and fresh. We also requested a mini pizzas for a dairy allergy member of our party. Upon arrival, we didn't know what to expect as we have never been to this location we traveled from Boulder Creek to the rock n jump to celebrate and this was the closest mountain mikes. The inside was extremely well maintained, clean and tidy. They had our tables ready and everyone that wanted to order extras had no problem doing so. The woman at the counter asked if we wanted all pizzas out at once or as they were ready. We opted for as they were ready since we had about 12 kids. It worked out perfect! The kids really enjoyed all the games there and hung out at the machines most of the time! Before we lit the candles on the cake and sang happy birthday a gentleman came over to inquire how everything was going. He asked about how the process was setting everything up from calling in to ordering and dining in... I really appreciated his genuine interest. During our interaction I learned he and his wife own (which is the woman who helped me all along the way) that location and want to make sure their customers are satisfied with the level of services and food they are receiving. Then we started to talk about family a tad bit and it was reassuring to know they really wanted to make sure we had a great experience while there. I would definitely recommend this establishment if anyone was looking for a great pizza place in this area. If we happen to be in this area again for any reason and a lunch is doable with our kids we would definitely pop in here. We've been doing pizza take-out from this place for the past few months; the kids like their pizza. Notes: - Pizza is sometimes inconsistent in toppings: Sometimes it's glorious. Other times there's a topping obviously missing from the specialty pizza and the other pizza is pretty skimpy on the toppings. - I've never seen it with any other pizza place, but here when I order whole pizzas, it's like the slices are Frankensteined together from different(ly sliced) pizzas. I was going to drop a star for the transient hanging around the parking lot, but I'm sure they have no control over that. The place itself was clean and there was plenty of seating. There are several TVs for people who want to come watch a game and eat/drink. Called in a pick up order with ease. Had to wait a few minutes after I arrived, but the pizza was great. Owners are very nice! I came in on Saturday evening and ordered a medium pizza. Unfortunately there was miscommunication between the waitress and I about the type of pizza. I wanted the sizzlin bacon add pineapple but she rang it up as pineapple and bacon (not her fault, just miscommunication). Once I got my pizza I explained that it was missing toppings and if they could just add them so they wouldn't have to make a new pizza. The owner (I believe) explained that they couldn't do that and she could make me a new pizza half price and I could keep the other pizza. I said it was okay and I'd just take the first pizza. Clean quiet location. Staff was friendly and while I ordered the buffet they offered to put whichever variety pizza I wanted on it. They have a great pepperoni and a quite serviceable BBQ chicken. (I pick off the pineapple but that's because it is buffet) They changed out (threw away) pizza that had been out for too long and were diligent about putting out fresh even though there were only two of us in the restaurant on the day I visited. (Both parties of 1) Clearly take pride in what they do, and the sign outside says under new management, so I suspect they inherited some bad reviews which likely are no longer valid. I sat working on my laptop longer than many places would have liked but the staff checked up on me the entire time and made sure I was happy even when it was clear I was only there for the bench. We have been going to the Mountain Mikes on Monterey Rd for some time now. We went for lunch at least 3 times a month prior to the shut down on in restaurant eating and picked up a couple of pizzas on a weekly basis after that. We stopped in this Tuesday and were delighted to see that they had brought back the buffet lunch. The management shows extreme pride in the restaurant and their service was a great as always. They are always asking if everything is all right and make sure that the buffet salad bar and pizza is fresh.
