Usually this is my place to get great affordable pizza. They always have quick delivery and generous toppings. I think their sauce is flavorful, a d thr pizza is always cooked perfectly. The place is clean and tidy. Staff is all friendly and helpful However, I am now hesitant to order from here again. Last night I ordered a pizza. Mine and someone else's got switched on delivery. When I called they told me the manager was "handling it." With no other information. After the driver came back to pick up the incorrect pizza I called back again. This time being assured a new pizza was being cooked and soon to be on it's way. When I inquired about a discount for the mix up I got a mumble about "I'll ask him" again no more information. 15 minutes later I was delivered a cold pizza that I am almost certain had already been delivered to someone else, picked up, and then delivered to me. I was so disgusted I couldn't think about eating it. So after almost 2 hours I was out $35, pizza, and patience. Next time I'll just opt for Roundtable. read more

Literally it was disgusting. Ordered 3 things it was super over priced and all of it went to the trash after one bite. Had to go elsewhere for dinner after spending all that money. That's all I have to say about this place. read more

Another flavorless, over-priced pizza for the people of Scotts Valley - who don't seem too concerned about getting a truly good pizza place in their area. We ate here only once, because Round Table is gross and we've had too many rude encounters with the staff of Redwood Pizza. We started out simply, with a large cheese pizza at Mountain Mikes and it was flavorless. Too much bland, waxy mozzerella cheese and a sauce that was bland. I went in at 5:30pm on a Sunday. The place seemed clean, the salad bar lettuce was browning around the edges, but the fixin's were ample and fresh. I'd consider going back once more to see if things improve. (Anyone can have an off-night). If my next encounter is better, I'll update my review. But for now: 2 Stars for bland pizza. read more

Hello ~ hope you are all well. I'm hoteling it in Scott's Valley after a day of hiking in the redwoods & social distancing. Craving something small and loaded with pepperoni ~ pizza it is. Googled Mountain Mikes and read some reviews .... Walked in ( with my mask ) and his pizza shop smalls delish. It was spotless clean ( this matters a lot!) The fellow behind the counter thanked me for supporting local and I ordered a small pepperoni to go. I waited around 8-10 minutes and he personally brought it out. Ok so the real stuff - small pizza 8 slices covered in baby pepperoni, cheese and red sauce . Hubby and I ate it up. The crust was toasty wood fired. Absolutely no complaints and definitely would order again. Sorry didn't look at the menu , but I saw four teens carrying a huge pizza box out. They know - this place is good. Ordered pizza with extra sauce n didn't get it but they offered to make me another pizza n I told them that's OK but I think this people are great cause they replaced my pizza anyway with a delicious saucy pizza. We ordered takeout. All pizzas (vegetarian- with red sauce and non-vegetarian-garlic chicken with white sauce) were definitely high quality. Their crusts were amazingly perfect and are to die for! All family members and friends loved it (we ate in our cars in their parking lot) and all of them commented how they enjoyed eating pizza after a very long time! Mike's did make a mistake in the order and infact very politely offered to fix the issue. All staff members at the cash counter were very courteous. Highly recommend their pizzas! read more

I have given this location at least 5 attempts to get things right. Living in Santa Cruz, there are not a lot of pizza delivery options. The first order was great. We always order the same thing, a chicken ranch pizza and a Half Dome sandwich. Each order, we get a completely different rendition of each, that doesn't match the corporate description at all. Tonight's sandwich had loads of fatty meat, no pizza sauce and a bit of cheese, smothered by hot wilted lettuce. As one of the owners delivered our order tonight, I asked to check the sandwich. I opened the box and showing him it was the wrong sandwich, he shrugged and said they had new people in the kitchen. I was so taken aback, I just accepted the order. Looking back, I should have not accepted the disgusting sandwich, which will be returned tomorrow. It isn't about the money, but the principle of continuity and quality. Sadly, the woman co owner is a nice woman. This is probably the worst run pizza establishment I have ever come across. read more

I don't know where these reviews came from, but this is the worst place to get a delivery from. I called and ordered a large pizza and a Mountain Dew. My hotel called and said the driver was coming to my room. The delivery driver never came and come to find out my pizza was delivered to the wrong room. I called the manager and he had deplorable customer service skills and was extremely rude. I will go back to speak to them in person to make sure my card was refunded. Stopped by for a quick bite after a long day at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, and our family had a really good experience. The pizza was fine, the beer selection great, but it was the service that was really outstanding. Without a word, the guy behind the daughter (manager?) saw my daughter and changed one of the TVs to NickToons for her, which she loved. We got our food quickly and enjoyed it, til my daughter knocked her (empty) plate on the floor. Manager guy didn't say a word, but just brought out a new plate before I could even ask. this restaurant​ has terrible management and staff. I have gone here twice and both times the staff was rude and incorrectly prepared my order. The first time they forgot to put the marinara sauce i ordered in the box with my order and when i went back the manager said "we usually put it in the box but ill give you an extra one this time" he said this when they never gave me any in the first place. Then tonight i ordered a large pizza for my family and i got a large pizza that had toppings i didn't​ want. its possible i somehow ordered incorrectly​ online but when i called to explain the situation on the phone to see if they would replace it the woman on the phone asked my name and said she would replace the pizza for me and there was no need to bring back the original but then calls me again a few minutes later very rudely​ saying it's​ my fault I ordered the pizza wrong so they won't​ replace the pizza and she was yelling at me over the phone and shes not even the manager. The attitudes of the staff here is terrible and as far as im concerned the community would be better without them. Ordered pizza, wings, and soda to our hotel room. I made sure to ask for plates and they said of course, the delivery driver showed up and said he was out of plates, he didn't bring us any napkins either. Opened the box to the wings and no ranch either. We tried to catch the delivery guy but he was gone. I called the restaurant back hoping they could catch the delivery driver and I was told it could be awhile before they could bring me some ranch. Mountains Mike's is one of the only places that deliver to our house in the mountains. LOL! I would've given them five stars but I wish they were just a little bit cheaper.
