We were at Jia Tellas but ordered from Two Doors menu last night. We ordered the seniors fish and chips and the seniors burger. We ordered 2salads because according to the menu they were $2 more. Our bill had us paying $7. No where in the senior section does it show $7 for a salad, but rather than argue we paid. The food was mediocre. We will not order from Two Doors again. read more

First I like 2 Doors. But if you like your hamburger alive and still bleeding eat here. I ordered medium well because inexperienced cooks have no idea between rare and medium let alone medium well. I double checked the with cashier and the receipt said Med Well. Well I got mine to go, big mistake because I couldn't check the doneness. When I got it home there was rare bright red everywhere. It's as though cookie was defiant or he was the dishwasher. Long story short I cooked it at home, used another bun and 1 1/2 minutes later in the microwave it was medium well at 155 degrees. Perfect. It's been better. Prices have only gone up (duh, everything is more expensive) but the quantity of the food you get for the price is, frankly, a joke. The amount of fries on a kids order is just ridiculous. The box weighs more than the fries included in that box. The burger was excellent, I had the Yukon - loved the Gorgonzola and onions. My daughter had the fish and chips, she didn't love them, they looked a little puny. Went in to order some fries for toddler. Full basket was over $9 so asked for half order if possible. Was charged half the price of full basket and this is what I got. When I asked server about it, she said it was half a basket. I asked her to put it in a basket. She offered to call her manager. Came back and told me that I got what I had paid for and that they weigh out the food in the back. Said the food manager was around, it, but wasn't interested in finding that person. This place is nice, with a relaxing atmosphere. Has nice outdoor seating as well as indoors. Plenty of parking. Many items to choose from on the menu. We had burgers, onion rings, tater tots, and fries. The ice tea is very good with an orange or lemon taste. The service is easy going. We have been trying support our local businesses more and use DoorDash less. We love Two Doors. You order at the register and then they bring it out to you. They have a varied menu and you can also order Jia Tella from here since they are the same owner. Beer on tap selection is abundant. I try a new one each visit. We have dinner here 1-2 a week and still never get through them. Their burgers and sliders are my favorite and for $15 it's the same price as a McD's combo and tastes so much better. The patties are charbroiled with crispy edges. All different versions.. including surf and turf, western and gorgonzola and arugula etc. I like the classic best. I love their side options .. besides fries they have tater tots, beer battered onion rings (tempura crispy), onion strings, and sweet potato fries. They also have pizza, tons of salad options with many options to add protein on top. The Hightower salad (has bean salad on top) and adding grilled chicken breast is my favorite. They also have pizza and other stuff but I stick to my usuals and am happy :) The nicest cashiers ever and their ranch dressing is really good, which is one of my pet peeves lol. They have sports on TV and you can sit at the bar and watch the Warriors games. They also have a couple of couches inside and outdoor seating with heat lamps. Visiting town for the Holidays. Went in with my family for dinner and ordered a variety of food. Quite literally everything was undercooked and disgusting. We informed the staff and they basically shrugged at us, looked us up and down with distain, and said "oh well". In my almost six decades on this planet I have never seen bar food prepared this bad and I honest to God have never seen service so terrible. What an atrocious establishment. Friendly staff. Nice location. I ordered a burger and one of the choices for a side was a salad. The salad was good size and tasty. The burger however was severely undercooked! The inside was basically raw. I didn't tell them about it, maybe I should have, I'm happy to say that I didn't get sick. They really need to take more care in making sure that the burgers are cooked throughout. This could be a health hazard for sure. read more

Came here after riding at UCSC and what a treat! Everything is MTB themed with dishes and pizza named after MTB trails etc. Bikes, helmets, forks and FOX goodies adorn the walls. Great food!! I went there after I devoured my ribeye sandwich for the Gelato dessert. I have been coming to this Victor Square shopping center for years and didn't pay attention to this hidden gem. The food was incredible and such huge portions, too. I had the bacon cheeseburger, called the "Burm Reynolds" and my friends had the nachos and a pizza. The burger came with a half a plate of fries. The burger was cooked to perfection and loaded with fixin's. The nachos were tasty and the pizza had the freshest ingredients. The staff was very attentive, especially with the one year old we dined with. My only complaint would be the high chair for the baby wasn't high enough for the table. Think I found a place to "regular"! Ordered a basic cheeseburger that was legit ! Something you'd barbecue on a warm summer evening in the backyard. The shoestring fries were perfect. Also ordered a cabbage salad from the Cambodian place next door and it was TASTY. Had a beer with the burger. Modelo Lager on tap. After mountain biking in the Santa Cruz Mountains, what better way to dine in with a mountain bike themed restaurant - from the decor to the menu...absolutely love it! Friendly service to add to that. Parking can be tight but they have a great spot to rack your mountain bike while dining in so you can keep a watchful eye within good distance. American food served here is delicious although portions can be better the food and drinks are overall good! I've had the chicken sandwich and onion rings and they were both delicious. I used to love this place, but for the past year or so things seem to be on the decline. The thing that bothered me the most last night was the fact that I could smell the bathrooms when I walked in the door. I acknowledge that they may have a plumbing issue that the landlord needs to remedy, however, something needs to be done. I have also noted that the bathrooms never seem to be clean beyond whatever sewer smells might be permeating the space. I have noticed that there is a huge turnover in staff and that my favorite menu item, the De la Vega sandwich no longer tastes like it used to and that often parts of the sandwich are not included- for instance there might not be any avocado on the sandwich that week or onions the next, sometimes, like last night, hardly any feta. I only ate a small portion of the sandwich because there was literally nothing on it to eat. If I'd wanted lettuce and spread, I could have stayed home. I can't vouch for the burgers or other menu items as I haven't selected them in a long time. I assume they are fine. Anyway, they do seem to have plenty of beer. read more

We really wanted to go to the taqueria next door but they close at 8? (Boo! On a Saturday!?) Nevertheless, this place was satisfying from ambiance to customer service to the food! The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing! (I believe it used to be an auto shop) There's table seating and a lounge area where you could still eat your meal. The waitresses here were all kind and even split our bill between the three ppl I came with! (Some restaurants like to make it difficult & pretend like they cannot split bills) I got the Bell Classic cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Honestly, I would have to rate my burger a 3 out of 5 Bc although it was good, the meat was dry! Fish tacos feature fresh mango are super tasty simple but good. Teriyaki Beef & chicken skewers are good size a few fill you up! Sliders good too! Jia tella side has fresh spring rolls super yum! Fresh crunchy bursting with flavor if you get fresh ones. I have a favorite from jia tellas is their red curry stew with brown rice is outstanding. Rich, flavorful and filling, you can't go wrong with their red curry stew. Chicken or beef rocks. I love their menu! There's a cool little title for each appetizer and entree that I've never seen before, which of course, caught my attention. We came during their 2 year anniversary of the plaza opening in Scotts Valley which was a 60s-70s themed event. They had $10 bbq ribs plate which included baked beans and potato salad. For an extra $3.00 you can get a fresh grilled corn on the cob and dress it up as an elote (mayonnaise, butter, parmesan cheese and chili powder). Not sure if this would be added to their menu, but it should! The ribs were delicious and flavorful! We also orders the choke bowl ($10) which is an artichoke-spinach and cheese dip with toasted garlic bread. This was amazing. read more

Great selection of draft beers, they have an alcoholic slushy machine that makes this bar stand out from all the others. My favorite thing on the menu is the dish tacos.
