Ordered a pizza said it was going to be ready by 6pm, showed up at 6:10 and they still hadn't started on it that it would be ready in 15 minutes. When to my car got a call that it would be ready in 8mins. Waited and then went back inside. The lady manager said it hadn't been 8mins yet (it had) and she said it was still another 5 mins. 5 mins came and went and at the end it was over half an hour late, no apologies or even a small discount, didn't even offer to throw in a bottle of coke for a $50 order. I've ordered pizza for delivery from this location for years and it's generally easy, I call, provide my card number over the phone since I don't usually have cash when the pizza is delivered, then the pizza is delivered, everyone is happy. Tonight, at 4pm I called and ordered one pizza and told the lady (who was very polite) I'd like to pay with card which she promptly told me that I could pay by card when the pizza is delivered (which I thought was cool and different since more food places that deliver do that now). I even double checked that I can pay with card when the food got here. The food arrives an hour and a half late and I was prepared to pay by card like I was told I could do and the delivery driver (very nice guy) said he didn't have anything to charge the card. He calls his manager and I'm standing there listening to the conversation and the manager is telling him to tell the customer they have to pay cash. I responded I'm not paying cash because I was told I can pay by card (I also didn't have any cash on me). The delivery drive says "my boss would like to speak to you" and handed me his personal phone. The manager on the phone rudely states "Mam, what seems to be the issue?" And I said "The issue is I was told I can pay by card when the delivery got here, although I was prepared to pay by phone like I usually do when I first put in the order" The manager rudely replies "mam, my system does not accept debit or credit cards" which I responded "you can't tell me that because I've been ordering from your location for years of which I've always paid by card" then went on to try and get me to pay cash. Then he lets out a sigh and says "Fine. What is your card number" (mind you this is all done on the delivery driver's phone which I hope he gets reimbursed for.) Anyway, I know it's just pizza and I apologized to the delivery driver for all the drama, I will not be ordering from this location again because the manager "Sammy" is his name was a total d*%k. You just lost a loyal customer bud!! @Shannon, thank you for reaching out. I know this manager is not a reflection of the company as a whole because I've been to many Mountain Mike's locations where the service is phenomenal. Came here with my family recently as I had a coupon from a fundraiser. When I initially presented the coupon the girl at the counter said they didn't take them. I had to show her that their address was on the coupon, THEN she accepted it. I hate when a company's initial response to coupons are negative. Don't distribute coupons if you are going to resist redeeming them. The dinning room was clean. It was slow that night so I can't say how well kept the dining area is on a busy night or weekend. An hour after placing the online order, we called to find out where our order was, we were told its on the way. 1 hour and 18 minutes after ordering, there's a knock at the door, dinners finally here! I know it's not the drivers fault, so.... We open the box and there's a badly misshapen, lukewarm, burnt and crispy (not in a good way) half cheese, half pepperoni pizza. The thing was pretty much cold, and the cheese was already mostly congealed. The bottom of the box was soaked in grease and over half of the pizza ended up in the trash. And it looked like it had been cut up by a 4 year old, one slice was about an inch wide, and another was almost 4 inches wide. How hard is it to cut up properly? Thanks for nothing MM. The last time we had been to Mountain Mikes Pizza they messed up our order horribly. I swore I would never go back. Tonight my husband and I decided to give them another try. The young lady at the counter not only remembered us, but remembered how bad our previous experience was and went above and beyond to make it better. My husband and I had the Everest and Pepperoni Pizza with garlic bread. The order was made perfectly and our waitress was very attentive. The pizza was hot, fresh and delicious. I was a Pizza Hut Pizza fan personally, but since they no longer have a dine in option I have been trying to find a good pizza place. I think I've finally found it. So my mother is ill, freshly out the hospital may I add but had a appointment today and we showed up a hour early. So we figured why not get a little lunch together somewhere near by. This mountain mikes is usually pretty mellow when it comes to how the employees talk to customers. A few days ago I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and decided to change it to half cheese while still on the phone which shouldn't be a big deal but the middle eastern woman I spoke with yelled at me and said I couldn't change it. I had to explain numerous times how I wanted half cheese and half pepperoni until after yelling at me she understood and rudely hung up the phone. I ordered my pizza at 8:10 pm tonight, received it a little after 9:30. The pizza was cold so I called the restaurant to either get a refund or a new pizza. They put the manager on the phone and he pretty much told me that I'm lying. I was only looking to get what I paid for, which is a hot pizza. I don't need anything extra from this man. He claims he delivered over 100 pizzas today with no complaints, irrelevant to my order. He was not willing to listen to a paying customers complaint and fix his mistakes. He would rather try to argue with a customer about his own wrong doings. He refused to give a refund and take this cold pizza back. When we walked in the place was empty and it took a while from someone in the back to notice us. We went for the buffet and to our surprise nothing was out yet. So we paid $40+ and waited 15 minutes for pizza to come out. Eventually cheesy bread came out but then we had to wait an additional 10 minutes just to have pizza. Most of our time was waiting for pizza instead of eating it. And I saw two of the employees spy through the window as they were waiting us out. We ordered a Veggiemore pizza; the veggies definitely felt fresh and the crust was nice and crispy. I liked that the pizza wasn't too oily or cheesy. Said hey when it does finnaly show its going to be cold and crap i want some money back...they said best thing they can do is 20% of next order....hell no never will be another ordered. Absolutely horrible experience. We ordered a thin crust pizza. It arrived an hour later and was not thin crust. The worst part was the box had been tilted on its side and all the cheese and toppings had run off the pizza and into the box. We ordered two pizzas at the same time and we were eating in. I asked for the coupon discount without coupon because Dublin store does this. She begrudgingly gave it to me warning me not to do it again. The first pizza came in the usual time. Next pizza came 20 minutes later! The reason? They got busy with deliveries. Wait! You stopped in the middle of making my pizzas to make someone else's then get back to mine?! Biggest issue for me was that there was no apology or offer of compensation, only excuses. We asked for compensation of some sort and the manager offers a 20 percent off coupon for next time. Thanks a lot. We will be heading back to the Schulte Mtn Mike's (in spite of the paper plates!) and leaving this one behind. Tonight we ordered Mountain Mikes, a usual favorite. But instead of ordering from the parlor on Shulte I ordered here. When I brought the pizzas home they did not look half as appetizing as they usually do when ordering from the other location in Tracy or the one in Livermore. The taste was a big let down. I am used to their cheese and sauce being rich in a delightful garlicky flavor. But it was not to be found in either pizza I ordered. Also the bread was not as fluffy. I called back to ask what had gone wrong and asked for them to remake the pizzas or a refund. Their manager then got on the phone and continuously argued with me that there couldn't be anything wrong with the pizza because they always make it the same. He dismissed each complaint I had as being wrong or inaccurate and did not offer any solution to the tasteless pizza that I had purchased. I am very disappointed and will never order from this particular mountain mikes ever again. Their pizza and customer service were both horrible. I've only had MM pizza probably 3 times/different MM I can ever remember. This past and Last reminded me why. I asked for a "thin" crust and got what felt like it resembled a kitchen dish sponge without the scouring side of the pad. Lol! I'm generally neutral/nice when it comes to reviews but cracked-up at my thought of the kitchen sponge. And no, I haven't attempted to eat a sponge! Different strokes for different folks I suppose.
