Logan was onsite and he and his crew were excellent, and all work was done well in a timely manner. System tested out ok, but A/C flow on the top floor was poor (heat flow was fine), and a booster fan was suggested for the lengthy top floor duct path, at an additional cost. The booster fan was installed in short order, when I was not home (part-time home) - all good so far - 5 stars for sure. .... but when tested the fan ran with the heater, and created a blast furnace on the top floor. Call to Logan and he was able to swing by and change the fan to run A/C only. Being winter we only ran the Heat and it was fine. As this summer approached found that the A/C would not run at all, no booster fan, no fan at all, although the outside unit is running... Multiple phone / email messages to Logan / Arrowhead Air have gone unreturned. Not good....! Hope I don't have to call somebody else. UPDATE: Logan reappeared - and as before was the consummate professional, worked through the issues and got the A/C back up.

He finds have time us we needed a new heater, but he was very honest. He did a couple of tests to be sure and found that we only needed a new thermostat. He answered all of our questions in detail and in ways that we could understand. He offered to install thermostat for free if we ordered through him. Otherwise, he said it was so very simple to do we can do ourselves, and he even showed us how and sent us detailed explanation on how to do it with one we would go buy ourselves. The business changed owners a few years back, and it's been a struggle to keep the split units working. After some time, Jake came through and fixed our split unit, even adding a surge protector for free. I'm hoping things go smoothly from here. Be aware that surge protection is important on the mountain with all the unplanned outages we face.

Back in 2016, the heater at my house wasn't putting out much heat. The owner then was Kirk, and he replaced some parts. After he fixed those parts, some OTHER PARTS BROKE!!!! On top of that; he knew I had just moved in and was spending tons of money repairing other things. Kirk agreed to let me make 3 payments for the job. That was 2016. Kirk retired. Now, about 3 weeks ago, I was finally tired of the lower level of the house being so darn cold as my gas prices were climbing more and more each year. I called Cantrell again. The new guys were just as professional and insightful. They instantly noticed that the "tubes" (I can't think of the other word for them!) had too small a diameter to pump sufficient air. They also hooked new tubes up for downstairs. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! MAN, OH MAN is it nice and warm downstairs. I've also noticed that the larger diametered tubes have resulted in the heater not being on as long as before to achieve the desired temperature. The new guys don't accept payments (they obviously take credit cards), but they're professional in every way. They answer the phones, keep in contact, keep their promise of when they're coming to work, then they leave after doing excellent repairs and upgrades. If something goes wrong with my heater or water heater; then Cantrell's is the only place I'm going to call. I bet you'll be just as pleased with them as I am!

Within four hours, Marlon showed up and had the necessary part on his truck to get me back online for which I am eternally grateful. However, he brought back down from the roof, pictures of rust, oil leaks and a few burned-out resistors along with detailed explanations of where things were headed with likely steep replacemet/repair costs in the future. Not only so, but the refrigerant in my a/c unit was no longer a legal replacement in California, should leaks occur there. The motor bearings were becoming noisily worn as well. From the very first Saturday contact with a call from James within 10 minutes of my YELP request, to the field visit from Marlon on the same day, to the installatin of a brand new heat pump system only two days later on Monday by two guys up on the roof enduring the at-least 106-degree brutal temperatures, and the skillful crane operator who clearly knew what he was doing, the professionalism, great care and willingness to get it all done right was seamless and unwavering. The same to be said of the quick, no-hassle financing initiated in the office to get things rolling for me. Without flinching, I can highly recommend AACE'S.
