Pros: We've eaten at the breakfast buffet two days in row. Good variety. Made to order Omelette, bacon, sausage patty, biscuit with gravy, pancakes, scrambled eggs, frittata, oatmeal. Lots of drink options. I got the orange juice. Hubby gets soda, coffee, and tomato juice. If you're staying at the hotel, it's only $5! Great deal. Good service. Cons: potato's too soggy, not to my liking.

Came here just want to see what the casino looks like and thinking of eating buffet. Some of the foods are good. I want cheesecake but I do not see much inside the dessert cabinet.

This buffet will be opening up March 2022 as a buffet again, since Covid they had been operating as a restaurant. We had prime rib here and a baked meatloaf, both were good and the price's and quantity of food were good.

This restaurant is no longer doing the buffet (COVID restrictions) but the dining they do offer is a really good bang for your buck. The size and quality of the plate of ribs I received for $9 was HUGE and impressive!! My fellow diner got a delicious patty melt with a large side of onion rings for $8. So zero issue with quality or quantity especially for the price. Since they are still allowing dine in (limited capacity) all the staff wore masks the entire time, they were constantly cleaning and all diners were more than appropriately spaced apart. We enjoyed the food and service (Maria was an absolute gem) so much we came back for Thanksgiving dinner and for breakfast during our stay there over Thanksgiving. The holiday meal was delicious (I was a little worried about handing my Turkey Day stuffing and gravy intake over to a relatively unknown restaurant crew but they did not disappoint! All was yummy and they had no issues getting me my 3rd and 4th serving of cranberry sauce lol. Management even came over to see if all was well and to ask us how our meal was (Tiffany Zepeda). She was even kind enough to take the time to recommend a few things we could do in the area since we were traveling through. All in all this place was a solid 5 for me. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

However, the older slots are sadly in disrepair. The lights indicating how much you can bet do not light up and it's hard to determine what the minimum and maximum bets are. The screens are dark and some have lines through them. It's as if they don't care about the older machines and they are just filling space until they can replace them with newer slot games. One slot machine where I sat was very confusing and was not functioning properly. I called an attendant over who called a second attendant that pushed a few buttons and shook the machine, then said, it's working now. They never said that they would have someone work on the machine. In my opinion, that machine should have been shut down for service. The players club card readers on the machines do not work well. Your card has to be inserted several times before it is read. At one point I went to the Players Club desk and got a new card thinking it was my card, but it was my card, but no it was the reader. With all that said, I did enjoy my visit at Cliff Castle Casino, although it was more work than I had anticipated. Between calling attendents, getting a new card, fighting with the card readers and making sure I played long enough to accumulate enough points for the free $10 play, it was a lot of work. Once you accumulated enough points you then had to go to the Players Club and give them $20 and they would load $30 on your card.. just not worth the time and trouble. I would go again if I had time to jump through all the hoops. Otherwise, I would move along to another casino either in Flagstaff or Phoenix. Okay how would you write your exper

There was an odor in the room, and the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned before we checked in. There was long dark hair strewn on the shower walls, hair all over the bathroom floor as well as dirt and other spots and stains. We reported it and asked to have the room cleaned-no luck. We asked to be moved to another room-no luck. We were simply told they would take note of it. The following day we asked to speak to a supervisor and guess what-there was no note of our complaint. They said there was nothing they could do and would notify the manager on duty and we would be contacted. We heard nothing from the hotel. This is not how I would run and business and I certainly won't give them my business again.

My daughter and I stopped at Golden Dragon in Cottonwood on our way home from picking her up at camp. We arrived around 11:15 a.m. for the lunch buffet, so we expected the food to be fresh. Instead, it was the complete opposite. The restaurant itself looked old, run-down, and dirty. Before we could even get food, we had to set several plates aside because they still had crumbs and food debris stuck to them. That immediately made us question the cleanliness of the restaurant. The buffet was even worse. Almost everything we tried was cold, dried out, rubbery, and incredibly chewy. The food looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Nothing tasted fresh, and we couldn't even finish half a plate each because every bite was so revolting. What really stood out was that an elderly family sitting at the table next to us was also talking about how unfresh everything tasted. It was obvious we weren't the only customers noticing the poor quality. To make matters worse, we spent nearly $40 for two lunch buffets and could barely eat any of it. We left feeling sick to our stomachs--not just because of the food, but because we had wasted $40 on a meal that was completely inedible. Looking back, we should have walked out the moment we saw the condition of the restaurant and the buffet. Instead, we gave it a chance, and we both deeply regret it. A few hours after leaving, both my daughter and I began vomiting and having diarrhea. We strongly suspect it was food poisoning because we both developed the same symptoms after eating here. Overall, between the dirty dishes, the run-down appearance of the restaurant, the old, cold buffet food, and now both of us becoming sick afterward, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. I will never be back, and I genuinely hope the restaurant takes cleanliness, food quality, and food safety much more seriously because no customer should have an experience like this.

Here at COLT Grill I had The Filly, a salad the menu described as "romaine, walnuts, pears, cranberries, bleu cheese crumbles, cranberry vinaigrette". I opted for the "small" ($8.50) over the" large" ($13) and it was a beautiful salad both in presentation and taste. But the salad portion of the menu also said one could "add chicken or smoked turkey" ($4) or "add beef brisket" ($5) and I did. Did you just tell me I could get a perfect, tasty, ample salad with a separate, robust and delicious side of BBQ beef brisket for $13.50? I wasn't just ready to fly to Arizona; I was ready to move to Cottonwood. This meal was delicious. A "small platter of smoked brisket" ($14.50) was enjoyed equally by another at my table but, with my bowlful of brisket, I paid little attention to that other meal. My attention instead was aimed at a nearby table's indulgence in the smoked Mac-n-cheese ($4.75) and Cheesy Jalapeño Corn Bread ($4). Jealous I was, for I had no room for anything more. What a winner. COLT Grill might be half the reason I return to this area in the future.
