Our sales person was Robert Perez he came out with an offer that was $3,000 less then Nissan and $2,000 less then car max on a trade in. When we mentioned this him. He states and I quote " that's a good deal" meaning our offer sarcastically. My wife was taken first by the low ball offer and his unprofessional comment. We walked out with great disappointment ,especially when there's a big sign in her customer lounge that they offer above market value. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I was very interested in buying the Chevy Trax, and decided on checking out this location. They had a very limited selection and also the customer service was terrible. The sales representative did not help very much. It was clear to me that they were not eager to sell or at least try alternative options to help me out. Although my rep was nice (Shawn Ahkavan), he did not seem to have much experience in this industry and was not very helpful. For me, I am young and have poor/no credit, so getting approved on a car loan was difficult. But there are always alternatives and it is too bad that I did not get options other than getting a cosigner. Shawn also asked us if we wanted water, and we said yes... but never received anything to drink. I just think they need to vamp up their customer service attitude and be more helpful to potential buyers. Monday the service rep Marisela called me and said the car would be ready around noon. 2pm I get a call the tire wouldn't be available until 3pm. Marisela again tells me the car should be ready before closing 6pm. 5-530pm and No call, I call the service department and Marisela is busy with a customer. Never received a call from Marisela I called multiple times before 6 and no answer. Needless to say I picked up my car today and I got the return call 14.5 hours after I was supposed too. Mountain view Chevrolet is your typical dealership who will say or "do" anything to try to get you the deal you're looking for. BUT they will avoid you at all cost when it comes to needing anything after the fact you already bought the vehicle. My biggest issue with them is the terrible customer service with the service department. I purchased my 2015 Silverado from them last April, and it is barely hitting 7000 mile mark on the odometer, and the A/C has gone out TWICE. Of course the truck wasn't made at the dealership but they're the ones who can go through the proper channels of getting it repaired but they have failed to show any interest in doing so. The first time it went out, I was told they wouldn't be able to take a look at it for almost 2 weeks. They didn't even offer a rental or loaner of some sort and this was in the middle of our blazing hot California summer! Luckily I was able to drop it off to Puente Hills Chevrolet and got a loaner the same day at no cost out of my pocket. Fast forward to last Tuesday 10/27, my A/C has gone out AGAIN. I decided to give mountain view Chevrolet the benefit of the doubt and see if they had any available appointments. I was transferred over to the service department and explained to them about the A/C and was told I would get a call back in the day after "reviewing" their schedule. Never received a call back. I called back on Wednesday at 11:34am (DURING BUSINESS HOURS) and got an automated message...Left a voicemail for a call back but I have yet to hear anything. I have given up all hope on getting anything from this dealership. read more

OK, so lets do this again, Had problems with my Cadillac, took it in and it appears to have been misdiagnosed when it was in the first time. That said it was then towed in with the transmission in total failure. That is when the first review was written, one might say that I was more than disappointed. Now to current times, I was contacted by the service manager Jeff , who as it turns out takes customer service very seriously. He indicated that he would like to try and make things better. I was doubtful (and I told him that), however he said at least he would like to try and that he takes what he does at the dealership very seriously. And I have been pleasantly surprised. They did have to install a complete new transmission (under warranty), they did realize that I had rented a car on the first visit to their shop and paid for that rental, then between the warranty and the dealership they picked up the emergency rental on this stay in the shop. . All judgement cannot be placed solely on the problem, there must be some judgement given on the actions to correct the problem. Jeff and Mountainview have been very quick to try and make this wrong into a right. The service here is terrible! It take a lot for me to give one star, treat me like a customer and you automatically get two stars. Doesn't have to be great service but don't be sarcastic either. First off I set an appointment to get an oil change for next day. When I drop off the car Guillermo Garcia the only service agent available said that the car may not be done that day because filter is may not be available. I thought the reason we set up appointment in advance is to make sure parts are available, and two it's just a filter. Then he goes on with his sarcastic tone that there is a squeak in the engine and would like to take a look but for a diagnostic fee. I purchased a extended warranty and said that that would not be covered. That's fine, I proceeded can you tell me what it does cover? Said that's not his job and transferred me to someone else that did not know. 3 voicemails later I called him back and said do not do any work on the car I will take to dealer and pay just a bit extra to have good service. This is for the service dept. I called the parts dept to ask if they had a battery for my 2014 Equinox . Sales person said they did. I asked how much for them to install. He connected me to service dept where a lady answered and she said she wasn't sure how much installation was but she would ask and put me on hold. About a minute later she came back on phone and said all the service techs were busy with other customers but if I gave her my phone # someone would return my call with a quote. Ok, so I contacted Mountain View Chevrolet through their website for information on a new truck. I get in touch with Anthony Mena there. He sends me some basic info on the truck I'm interested in. He then asks me when I'm looking to purchase. I told him I was looking for a lease and gave him the term I was interested in. I did not hear back from him for almost two hours. I messaged him back and received "I'm currently with an appointment. I'll ask a coworker if they will get in touch with you". That was December 22. Never heard from anyone. Today I went to the lot to look at trucks. There was a salesperson helping another customer. He asked if I needed some info. I said yes. He stated he would get someone out to me. 30 minutes later, nothing. So I left. I accessed the website yet again. Low and behold, Anthony Mena responds. I tell him what I'm looking for. He sends me basic info. I tell him I'm looking for a lease. He never responds back. So, from a different email, I access the website again. Anthony Mena once again responds. I tell him I'm looking to purchase. Oh my, now he's interested! Lots of time available for me. "Let's make a deal" time. Guess what Anthony? I'm not buying a truck from you!!!!! This is the worst dealer EVER!!!! I called in August for a car, only to be given the run around for 3 months. Then when i finally buy the car they have me fill out paperwork that has my SS # and its for a loan. i asked why i need to fill out this paperwork when i am paying in full with bank check. They tell me its formality, and that i have to fill it out even though i am paying in Full for the car with a CERTIFIED BANK CHECK. I repeated myself to them that they should not run my credit report. Well long and behold, 3 weeks later, I get a notice for a credit report for a loan. URGH - I was livid and all they could say is sorry , it was done by accident. Now i have a hard hit on my Credit, as i am in the middle of starting my own business. I researched and narrowed down the car I wanted at the cheapest price available which ended up being a 2012 Toyota Prius C Three. The year and model had the most features at the best value that I could find, and Mountain View Chevy had it's listed price much cheaper than the average price of similar competitor cars. Here is a run down of my entire dealer interaction from start to finish. I sent an email to Mountain View Chevrolet and asked him for his best offer on their 2012 Prius C Three. I stated I would come in if the price was right through email. I got an email back several hours later from my Sales Associate (won't use his name here) was told MSRP was $13,995, Mt View Chevy sale price was $12880.00 and was surprised that their "Best" offer was $100.00 off to $12780.00 I informed him that they had advertised the same car price on Autotrader for about $1,000 less and stated I would only schedule a test drive if they met that price. After several more hours, I finally got a reply back and he agreed. MSRP: $13995 Website Sale Price: $12880.00 "Best offer" price email: $12780.00 Auto trader $11,880 Arrived bright and early and did a quick test drive around the block, then we got down to business. My associate said he wanted to give me $1,300.00 for my Black Ford Fiesta SEL. As soon as I heard that, I nearly assumed this wasn't going to work out and was going to end up walking out of the dealership quickly. I informed my Associate that at bare minimum, I would only take a Kelly Blue Book value for my car which was just over $3,000.00. The Associate informed me that he wouldn't be able to do that because their partner auction business set the price for trades and that they did not accept KBB trade-in values. I knew this wasn't true, and I didn't appreciate the dodging and weaving, so I flatly stated that I wasn't budging and that I would only accept a KBB value for my trade in. The associate asked what I was looking to spend per month for the car and I said the low 200's even though my maximum figure was $250.00. The associate said that my payments would actually be closer to $320. Then he left the office to "see what he could do". He came back and essentially said they had bent over backwards and had got my payments down to $289.00 I finally revealed my card and said I Wanted a maximum of $250 and the associate said that was impossible. I went back to my trade in and said I still wanted Kelly Blue Book value and he left the office again to speak with his finance team/manager. He came back and said the best they could do was 2500. I again demanded KBB value, but he still refused to budge and said payments couldn't get any better than $289. This is where the real Congressional debate began. I kept insisting I had a line I would not cross and the associate kept attempting to persuade me why I wasn't being reasonable and started to list off the reasons why. He said my credit was good, but that my "auto FICO score" wasn't that high. He said my Prius was going to save me so much money on gas. He said if I put more money on my down payment, he could do something, etc. I refused and wouldn't budge. Again he left and came back and said my payments would be lowered to $259. I said $250. He laughed like it was comical to even suggest, his way of negotiating. He said it was just 9 dollars more, the price of a Starbucks coffee. I dragged on pretending I was thinking about it real hard so he would think I was almost won over even though I was just trying to wear him down. Said I couldn't, $250 was my max. I then mentioned again I wanted KBB value for my trade. He laughed and said auction wouldn't allow it. After 5-10 more minutes, he said there wasn't any hope, but he would check with his boss and left. He came back and said "guess what, I got you $3,000 trade in for your car. Congratulations"! all excited. I said "Ok...but I want $250 payments". He laughed, and said there was simply no way. He said "$259, c'mon shake my hand". I was just about ready for "My Best Offer" so I Threw the ball back in his court. I said "You get me $250 per month and I'll shake your hand". He suggested it was a waste of time to even ask and said "don't be surprised if I come back with bad news" and walked out like he just lost his job. Came back less than 2 minutes later, stuck out his hand and said "Congratulations, we got a deal". I shook his hand. Signed endless paperwork, declined all the overpriced extras like warranty, etc. Whole process took just over 2 hours. Very short. To finish I'm overall happy with the price of my car. The APR was still a bit high, but I plan to refinance in the near future. I don't fault the salesman for playing "the game". Just do what I did and refuse to budge. And if they don't relent, walk out. So Cal is littered with car dealerships to choose. ***The dealership has a promotion offering $5 Starbucks gift cards for reviews. After being totally screwed over with Hyundai Van Nuys on a 2013 Elantra lease, I was determined to find the best deal possible on a car that I wanted to buy and hang on to for a while. I only put 11 thousand miles on my Elantra in two years, so I wanted something inexpensive, but that still looked nice. I found that deal with Mountain View Chevrolet and drove 80 miles out of my way from LA after work to get it. Anthony answered my online query the morning after I submitted it, and called right back after an initial overview conversation with a deal on a Chevy Cruze 2015 that was better than any other new or used Cruze that I could find in the West. I was considering dealers as far as Phoenix. I did my research. Anthony said he'd go to bat for me, which most dealers do, but unlike most other dealers, he really did. He even negotiated with me a bit more once I made it in, which was after hours. He also did the best he could do, personally going out of his way, to help me get both my old car back to Hyundai and my new car back to LA. It was 11pm and he was still happily giving me the run down on my new car including setting up my free 6 month trial with On Star (which is awesome). Anthony was an earnest hard worker with integrity, which is very unique and appreciated in this industry. The only reason I'm giving a 4 out of 5 starts, is because when the finance manager presented me with the contract, it included a $3,400 extended warranty (which to me didn't seem like a good deal at all) and a $900 gap protection policy. Both products were slid in, and the only mention of them was them quickly describing the products and then them saying that it was, "already included in your price," which is meant to sound like the price that you agreed to for the car, but what they really mean is that it is included on your contract already, as a very expensive added cost. Once I detected the bold add-ons, they quickly and easily change my contract for me. Even if you don't catch it right away, they can still be canceled at any time. Refunds probably are prorated though. It's a sneaky move, but unfortunately as far as car sales go, it's not uncommon and it pales in comparison to crap that Hyundai pulls, like a $400 fee just to return your lease at the end of your contract, that they won't tell you about-even if you ask. I'm really happy with the car and the deal I got, so I recommend Mountain View, Anthony, Chevrolet and the Cruze. Just be on the look out for add-ons in your contract. read more

We were upset at first since a non-dealer related problem with the EC Bond folks prevented us from having stains removed while our vehicle was at the dealer. Our Salesman-Andy Ho and the contract administrator-Michelle Mitchell heard of our problem and took care of all loose ends. We had our 2016 Silverado LT serviced and Mountain View Chevy cleaned the seats themselves! The service team was fantastic! They performed the maintenance without the usual high pressure 'you need this replaced' line. I can't say enough about our experience with Mountain View!! I came here to get my vehicle serviced. As soon as I arrived I was met with rudeness and an unwillingness to help. I spoke to John and told him I had a warranty for my vehicle. John told me it was not possible, I told him to look in my account to find it. John told me he needed the warranty so he can make a copy. I told him I did not bring the policy but I gave him the name. I asked John to call and get a copy of the warranty emailed to him. John refused and said he needed me to bring in the warranty. Needless to say I did not get my vehicle service there. I drove over to MK Smith in Chino and spoke to a very nice lady (Jennifer) who looked up my account and it showed my warranty. I have been brand loyal to Chevrolet for the past 15 years. Currently own 4. 2017 Traverse, 2013 Cruze, 2013 Malibu, and 2006 Canyon. Was in the market for a new vehicle and saw an amazing price on Mountain Views website. Visited the dealership and immediately verified the price with the salesman. Asked him to please not waste my time and he assured me the price was 100% accurate, no strings attached. After 2 hours of locating , inspecting, and test driving the vehicle we sat down to make a purchase. After another 30 minutes of filling out applications, running my credit and photocopying pay stubs, insurance, etc I was handed a price sheet for the vehicle that was 2,000 dollars more than the advertised price that I was repeatedly assured was accurate without any requirements I may not meet. I was now told since there was no current GM lease holders in my household that I did not qualify for a rebate that was never mentioned over the last 2.5 hours. I voiced my frustration and immediately walked out as the salesman nonchalantly asked me to stay and run some numbers. I was furious. What a shady business practice. I will never do business here.
