Had a check engine light on brought it in to check out found out that the catalytic converter is bad. The truck is a 2014 Silverado. This so call repair was going to cost $1,500. This is a rip off. And on top of that they charged me $125 just to plug into the computer less than 10 minutes. Now my sons chevy cruse which is a 2014 needs a new converter at $1,600. Maybe it is time to walk away from chevy and go to ford or dodge. When chevy was making better products my 2001 tahoe went 180,000 miles without new brakes or a converter. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I was solicited to bring my Chevy Camaro in for an oil change and was given a specific appointment time. Upon my arrival there were 15 vehicles in the service drive. I went to look for my service consultant Mark and was asked to return to my vehicle and someone would be with me. I waited and a young lady walked up and told me that Mark was in the first office. I explained to her that someone had asked me to return to my car when I initially got out. She said that she didn't know why they would tell me that. I got out of my car again and went to his office only to find another customer waiting for him as well. On my way to the office I heard the service manager Thomas Daniels explaining to a mechanic that there was no room for all of the vehicles that were in the service drive. While waiting in the office one of the valets came in and asked if we had been helped. I let him know that we had not been helped. I also asked about the comment that the manager had made and he explained that the overbooking was due to a glitch in the system online. He said that it would be more than a few hours for an oil change. I asked him to cancel my appointment and contacted Vanessa from the service appointment desk and asked to to never contact me again. She didn't even attempt to call a manger or resolve the issue because I wasn't the only customer who canceled. And she explained that the overbooking has been an ongoing issue. I highly recommend that if you're looking for a place to service your vehicle, look elsewhere. read more

My husband and I went in to see about a used car that was advertised on the dealership's website. We were very interested in purchasing the car and wanted to find out the monthly payments options. The Sales Representative, Mike, was great. He answered our questions and was very helpful. The problem came when the Sales Manager, Hanny, came out. He tried at first to say that we didn't provide him with enough personal information to give us payment options. He was rude and condescending. When my husband pointed out that we did give the information to Mike he went back into his office to try to get us some numbers. When he came back he refused to give us monthly payment options because we were not ready to purchase the car that day. We have never experienced anything like that before with other car dealerships. We couldn't believe that a manager in a service industry would treat customers like that. We will not return to this dealership to purchase a car. read more

2016 MALIBU HAS BEEN BRAKING DOWN SICE THE FIRST DAYS I GOT IT THEY WONT REPLACE IT OR DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT I got it with just 2 miles !!!!!!!!!!DONT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where do I start from!!!!?!!! Ok so I bough a 2016 Malibu on March 5 2016, from here((((MOUNTAIN VIEW CHEVROLET))))) Just a couple of days in I started having problems with the new Malibu! I got stranded for about 30 mins, until I finally got the car to work, so the next day, my family and me drove down to LA to visit some family. Later in the afternoon when it's time for us to go the same thing happens but this time it took an hour and 30 mins to get it to work. We drive home it's late so I decided to take it in to service after work. The next day I drove to the office and from there I went to a property and again I had the problem. They towed me to the nearest Chevrolet dealer. They finally got it to work and so I left and when straight to ((((( mountain view Chevrolet))))) once I got there I spoke to a fue people there and nobody did or could do anything they all would tell me I have to talk to someone else or they would bring someone to help me. It took them 2 weeks to repair the Malibu and I finally got it back Friday 25 of March 2016. AND SO THE CAR IS FIX THEY SAY!!!! On Wednesday March 30 2016 it has the same problem I call no one doesn't know what to do and there's nothing really they could do and I told him I just got the car it hasn't been a month and the car already broke down more then 8 time and they have repair it once! For 2WEEK I FINALLY GET IT TO WORK AND DROVE DOWN THERE. I get there and ask to speak to someone for help and they send me to talk to some ones and then to some one else and so on. Then some one tell me to wait to see what they could do!! Then I see him walking around talking to people going in on out the building and looks at me like if I'm stupid or something and ask me why are you still here I told you there's nothing we could do your going have to come back tomorrow talk to someone else!!!! I told him to asked me to wait for you while you go see what you could do!!!! He said did I ? Oh yeah sorry but there is nothing we could do. ((((Something similar had happen the first time I was there about the problem)))))So I left. I work all the way in LA SO TODAY Thursday March 31 2016 the car brakes down again for the 8th time it's been an hr and I can't get the car to work!!!!! I was very disappointed in the service I received, including my adviser Steve Conners, Not only did he not call when my car was ready until after I left him a voicemail, but when I arrived to retrieve my vehicle I went directly to the cashier to cash out. I heard the announcement to bring my car forward, I waited 45 minutes before I had to approach a serviceman named Joe to request my car. Steve never approached me nor acknowledged my presence. He did not address a particular concern I have concerning my vehicle, which I specifically asked him to do. My tires were rotated and has left a disturbing shake when driven at certain levels of speed. At this point I am at a loss because I refuse to bring my car back to Mountainview for servicing. I will contact another dealer this week and hope and pray they will be able to correct this problem. read more

After weeks of searching the internet for the best deal on a small car for our son, we ended up here to look at a 2017 Sonic. I had made contact with Roberto Perez in the Internet Sales Department a few days earlier and was impressed with his helpfulness and follow thru. The original vehicle sold before we could make it out there (we don't live nearby) and Roberto called me to let me know so I didn't waste the trip. He then called the next day to let me know he had two similar vehicles in different colors that he would be able to drop the price on. We drove out to Upland and the dealership was packed. I literally have never seen so many people buying cars. Apparently, I'm the only one who spent all my money on Christmas:). But I digress. My son drove the car, loved it and we bought it. No haggling, no sheet of paper with that annoying Four Square ripoff game that most dealerships play. Financing took forever because they had so many people buying cars but once we got called in, it was painless. The finance lady was very nice. And they matched my Credit Union's great loan offer! My experience with this dealership was very negative and echos some of the previous reviews. I would definitely not recommend making a longer drive there, even if they advertise a great deal online and/or confirm via phone that the car is available. After seeing a car on their website, I called the dealership to see if it was available. I asked upwards of five times that the car was definitely still for sale, since I would be driving from West LA in traffic to see and hopefully buy it. They laughingly reassured me that it was in fact available at the advertised price. I arrived at the dealership after a long drive, and after test driving the car, decided to purchase it. I sat down with the sales person to discuss financing, deciding I would just purchase it without financing. We shook hands and he went and spoke to his manager. He came back and told me that actually the car had been signed over to another customer, but that there was a snag in their purchase; they had to give the other customer until the end of the day (Thursday) to try to fix the snag, and otherwise we would be able to buy the car Friday morning. Friday morning, after not receiving the call I was promised, I called the dealership. They told me that they were now giving the other customer until the end of that day, but if the car was still on the lot Saturday morning we would be able to buy it. Saturday morning, I called and am told that they are now giving the other customer until Monday night, but they promised that I could buy the car Tuesday morning if it was still on the lot. On Monday, the internet price of the car suddenly was $2000 more than what we agreed upon. I called and they tell me that the car had actually been sold. I called back on Tuesday morning just to make sure and they told me that the car is in fact for sale, but at the higher price. I spoke with my original sales person as well as the sales manager, telling them that I had the printed quote that we had agreed upon, while recounting what had happened since I originally visited. They told me that it doesn't matter--the car would now cost me $2000 more. Bottom line, I feel that this dealership was dishonest with me throughout the entire process. I was very patient with the various delays, even after being promised that the car was available before I made the drive out there, but I feel that if they tell a customer that a car is available, print a quote, and shake his hand on a deal, they should somehow feel responsible to fulfilling the deal if they are able, which they have not. read more

I began process by emailing different agencies. George Mendia a salesman at Mountain View answered. I let him know exactly what I wanted to do, trade in a 2013 KIA Rio on a new Cruze, no money out of pocket and payments the same as KIA. He said he could do this. We went in at 7:30PM and by 9:30pm we drove out in our new car. The lady in finance, Michelle was very helpful, friendly and efficient. We got GAP and extended warrantee for only a few bucks more that our previous payment. We are very pleased. My experience was outstanding. I got rid of my Jeep and purchased the new Equinox. I was going to cancel but when I showed up, the experience was quick and painless. I. Will. Never. Go. Back. Here! The lack of communication has been absolutely infuriating. My brakes failed while on a work project in San Diego. I had my truck towed to a pep boys where they ran a diagnostic test and determined that the issue was over their head and needed to go to a trusted mechanic. I then had my vehicle towed to Mountain View because it is a dealership and close to my house. Since initial drop off, service has been disappointing and extremely frustrating. Day of drop of was a Saturday so did not expect for service to be done until Monday. For the next four days we call and stop in twice, each time the service employees tell me that I'll get a call by COB. Did not receive a single call until 5pm on the 4th day when I'm told they have reached out to GM Technical and I will get a update by 3pm the next day. No call. The 6th day, I call and I am told that a part has been ordered. From day 7 until day 16, I did not receive one update or call from the service department. Each time I called, I was told I was receive a update later. When I called at 5pm on day 16, I was told my service rep had a broken foot so I was transferred to someone else. Okay, things happen but communication is key. If I had received status updates along the way then I wouldn't be so concerned. Day 17, I called 3 times. First time, the receptionist looked up my name and asked if a different vehicle was mine. That was a concern. Were they associating the wrong vehicle with me the whole time? Finally, on the 3rd call on day 17, I was informed my vehicle was ready for pick. Absolutely terrible communication and lack of customer service. I will never take my vehicle here for service, would never recommend that someone does and will never recommend this dealership for purchasing a vehicle. read more
