Unable to source a new base, F&R seamlessly welded a new post on to the original one. I also requested a total reupholstery with new leather and padding. The chair now looks better than new. The other item was restrapping a Breuer chair - less challenging perhaps - but perfectly executed. The company kept me informed throughout the process and were unfailingly civil and responsive. He spent a good deal of time trying to repair what was wrong and while he could not repair because another part would be needed, he left me feeling confident I had made the right decision in contacting him. He left me confident in his assessment of the situation and said he would research and get back to me. Based on his previous communication and his responsive nature, I believe he will do exactly what he says, and for that, I am grateful. His prices are reasonable and he is so nice. I also didn't realize he was based in Glendale but he schlepped all the way out to Scottsdale to see me and he came on Fri., Nov. 10th, when Veteran's Day is being observed.
