I contacted various movers as her previous plans to get the chair moved fell through. Big Stuff movers were quick to respond to my request for a price quote. I contacted 3 different companies and only Big Stuff movers and another company quickly contacted me back. I wanted the chair moved within the next two days but they were booked until the weekend. I got their price quote and thought they were reasonable. I got the other price quote from the other moving company and they were ridiculously priced. I agreed to wait until the weekend so the Big Stuff movers could move the recliner. I made a small deposit when I booked and the reminder was due upon delivery. They were excellent in responding to my text messages. The day of the move the mover wore a mask and covers on his shoes and went upstairs, disassembled the recliner and took it to my sister's house and reassembled the recliner. My mom is very happy now she has her recliner and can get up without the need of assistance. Thank you Big Stuff movers for helping my mom with her recliner. If you need to move an item or a whole house you can expect excellent service, a good price and a company that cares.

He fell and dropped several of our boxes marked clearly as "fragile". They claimed they were able to take apart and put our sleep number bed together. They took it apart but were not able to put it back together. I called several times to get help for the money I paid to fix the bed and the broken items and they refused to call me back. They handled furniture carelessly during disassembly and even asked us for tools because they lacked the necessary equipment. They also arrived late to the storage unit and claimed they got lost, causing further delays that made it seem as though time and charges were being unnecessarily extended. I raised these concerns with Rico, the owner. Although he adjusted the bill, I later learned through my husband that his employees were listening to our private conversation on speaker while they were on mute, which I found highly unprofessional. The crew leader also gave Rico inaccurate information, claiming he arrived earlier than he actually did and that they had trouble accessing the apartment complex. My daughter and son were present and know neither claim was true. Overall, there were too many inconsistencies, excuses, and instances of dishonesty. A simple one-bedroom move should not have taken as long as it did, especially compared to larger moves our family has completed. I chose this company based on its reviews, but my experience was awful. Due to the poor professionalism, communication, efficiency, and respect for the customer's time and money, I would not use this company again or recommend it to others.

While the movers were very polite and maintained a professional demeanor, they damaged our entertainment beyond repair. The movers were apologetic and assured us that they would take care of it since the company had insurance. Our entertainment center cost over 800 dollars and the piece that was broken was a vital piece as it holds our entertainment center together. Later, they stated that the insurance covered 43 dollars and the owner ever so graciously (insert sarcasm) offered to pull out of his own pocket 7 dollars to make it an even 50. We told him the amount to replace that piece and asked to replace it instead he did not agree to replace what they damaged. We have a storage that needs moving and asked for services to move a few boxes from storage. He offered it at a discount. The discount they initially gave us was 60 an hour. They do not stick by their word on their website to protect us and our property. Their insurance is worthless. We tipped their guys 50 dollars for their courtesy and kindness and their assurance to take care of the damages. I would not take their offer to move our tiny storage because I figured what if they damage something else. we are actually losing money by hiring this company. I do not recommend this company at all. I wouldn't even accept a free move from them any longer (if they even offered that) with how we were treated...as if our valued things are none of their concern. we weren't asking for something unreasonable just to pay the price of the broken piece for us to order or them purchase the part that they broke themselves. The crews were amazing and they ran almost the entire time. I have used them for apartment and house moves. They are now under new ownership and it shows. They showed up and got started but don't have the right tools to break down the single bed. I had to provide tools, but they they still stripped out the screws on the bed frame and I had to finish, so it didn't get any worse. The same thing happened for the table, they didn't have the right tools and stripped the screws. I had asked them to wrap the furniture and tvs as this was all going into a storage. They had wrap but ran out after wrapping 2 pieces as they only brought a single roll that was almost out. Everything was boxed and ready aside from the furniture, This was a 1 bedroom apt that was 700+ sq feet. They took 6 hours and $900 to move a 1 bedroom apartment. I had a 2 story 2800 sq foot house moved by the previous crews in 5 hrs and paid significantly less. They did a really poor job of unloading into the storage. I have boxes that are being crushed and have already had to rent another unit to unpack and repack correctly. The last part of these transaction was a problem also. As i was paying with a credit card i was told that there is a 3% additional fee. I was advised I should have been told when i booked that cc had an additional fee. Seeing as my checks were packed I got stuck with the fee. After a much longer than normal move, much higher cost, and unprepared movers I would definitely not recommend anyone using them again.
