Only when the line got extremely long did the other 2 start taking a desk. The person who assisted us didn't explain much about the process, just demanded information. Our attendant took 20+ minutes just trying to assign us a truck. If this wasn't the only nearby U-Haul location, I would've went elsewhere as the service provided and the attitude was overall atrocious.

I Had to sleep on the floor since they left me without a mattress. They were not professional. They even broke one of my boxes were I had my Kitchen stuff.. they also broke a glass container I had and couple of water glasses that I had packed carefully... horrible moving experience with them... I had to call Fer Express moving company the next day and told them my situation and they said it could be done. They came to my new place within the hour and they got the job done. It was 2 guys! I'm so glad they opened up a store here. They are open long hours as well: Monday thru Friday 7am-7p and weekends 9am-1p I think. Now I don't have to search up places to return my packages. I can just go here. One thing to note is that they charge $1 for usps drop offs and if you want them to print your label. I think that's reasonable.

With that being said, we reached out to Xavier letting him know of the situation immediately. Xavier was extremely understanding of our frustration and even more apologetic. He was very communicative via email the entire process and kept things professional. After a couple of days of going back and forth, we were able to get a full refund and Xavier is working on our insurance check as we speak. Moving…read moreis so stressful, but I immediately felt like I was in good hands when they showed up to grab my stuff. They worked like machines -- just two movers were able to get a big dresser, desk/bookshelf, chair, mattress, mirror, and ~10 boxes/bags of varying sizes and fragilities across Brooklyn within two hours. I know they would've moved even more items I hadn't planned to take, with similar timing. They wrapped and protected my prized dresser and even moved two large plants for me without a single leaf lost! I was truly amazed at the speed, efficiency, and care they showed throughout the move. I would absolutely use their services again and will tell my friends (and everyone I meet) to use them for their next NYC move. I'm currently sitting in my new apartment feeling so much lighter because of how easy this experience was. The Chinese Mover "branding" may seem a little sketch compared to the big names, but in NYC especially, the best companies are often no-nonsense operations without flashy websites or marketing.
