We are locals at Moxies in Brickell. Our office is one block away, and come here at least once a week. Most of our group lives in the area. We were essentially kicked out because we "surpassed" the 2 hour window of service. When we arrived, they mentioned we had a 2 hour window but the service was really slow and we did not receive our first drink until 35 minutes into our seating time. Plus, when we were kicked out there were other parties still at their table which had been seated way before we were. As we leave now. I am extremely disappointed in this establishment. They offered to sit us outside in the heat but obviously that was unacceptable as well as we were watching the game and there were no TVs outside. BEWARE IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO WATCH a regular 3 hour football game because you will be kicked out at the two hour mark. They finally offered a $60.00 discount on our bill but we would've obviously preferred to stay at our table and been able to eat dinner. read more

This place is in the heart of Brickell and walking distance from every thing. It has an outdoors area as well, and the service and atmosphere is great. Lychee martini- DELICIOUS Espresso martini - has a chocolate liquor and was tasty Pornstar martini- not super sweet but well balanced with the prosecco Bombay peach lemonade - I was not a fan.... It had soda and that was probably the reason White tea shot- a little sweet but refreshing and delicious Potstickers- has mango salsa on top which was crunchy, the filling was decent Chipotle mango chicken with mash potatoes instead of quinoa- was delicious, a heavier meal but that's because I wanted the potato's. The chicken was grilled to perfection my only wish was is that the mango purée was more or it was mango salsa instead Chicken Madeira with linguini noodles -was really good, once the chili flakes were added it's the perfect spice balance White chocolate brownie- was a little dry but!!! The cream and ice cream makes a good balance. And it's not too much chocolate Sticky toffee pudding- by far my favorite dessert. Loved the food here and one of the best spicy margaritas I've had! Just a great late night option with an extensive menu. The service here is great even when it's jam packed! We ordered a few recommendations from our server like the calamari which is crispy and cut into bite size pieces. The sweet chili chicken which was forgettable but delicious nonetheless and the steak and potatoes with Cesar salad which was divine like wow it was cooked so perfect and the potatoes were so crispy I can't stop thinking about it. We also ordered the poutine which was salty af just not good but I mean who orders poutine at a restaurant in Miami like actually.. The manager came around and checked on everybody and I complimented Margarita to her. The manager was named Madison. She was so sweet and had a great personality. Perfect brunch or happy hour spot! We came here on a Sunday afternoon for appetizers and drinks. The guac was so fresh and delicious, fried calamari but my favorite was roasted tomato bruschetta 10/10 , the whipped feta was absolutely delicious! What a fantastic evening with wonderful food and the best bartenders in Miami! Went in for appetizers had the crab dip, which is some of the best I've ever had, brussels sprouts appetizer was outstanding, and the bruschetta was second to none. Moxies Miami is a one of a kind! I recently visited Miami the last week of September and I stopped by 3 different times. Two times at night and one time during lunch. From those 3 visits- all were great experiences! Really loved the food and drinks were amazing! I was taken care of by Gabby, Anna and Meylan. They all really helped with food selection and drinks. They were always polite, patient and had very good energy which i appreciate. They recommended me different cocktails/drinks and they didn't disappoint- really loved them. Dinner time, we didn't have a reservation but we're able to get a table outside in the patio area. All the main outside tables weren't available. It is a lively and happening place. The heart of Mary Brickell Village in a dark restaurant with a huge bar and plenty of TVs isn't the kind of place you would think of as a good reasonably priced meal. But they definitely surprised me! I had the red Thai curry. A little spicy but very flavorful and filling. And for $17 I definitely feel like I got a steal on this one. Moxies is the perfect spot to experience that vibrant Miami nightlife vibe -- definitely a must-add to your list of go-to places! My boyfriend and I started the night off with espresso martinis (of course!) and they tasted like the perfect espresso martini with a hint of chocolate. My boyfriend, then got the chocolate martini which is a classic and a must try when you go to Moxies. I got the pornstar martini which is one of Moxies popular drinks. It had hints of coconut and passion fruit and was served with a side glass of Prosecco. It was really good but a bit too sweet for my taste, but you do have to try it if you're at Moxies. I didn't ask what specific one it was but it honestly tasted like La Marca (if you know, you know). My final drink was the lychee martini and it tasted like lychee juice and was garnished with a piece of lychee. My boyfriend and I just wanted to get appetizers. We started with the fried calamari and shrimp. It's served with a side of sweet Thai chili sauce, spicy mayo, and a grilled half lemon to drizzle on top of the food. Honestly, there was nothing special about this dish. It tastes like fried calamari and shrimp that you would get at any place. We then got the chicken lettuce wraps, which was my personal favorite out of the three appetizers we got. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and sauced. To end the night, we got the spicy tuna roll. This was served with a side of soy sauce and it was delicious. You know how sometimes you get a spicy tuna roll at a restaurant and it's not actually spicy? Not at Moxies, it was spicy but not too spicy where you don't enjoy the meal. Now for the service, for it being a busy night, our server was very attentive to us. I normally don't order steak at restaurants--even though it's literally my favorite food--because a good steak for me should just have salt and pepper and a skillet sear, so I'd rather invest in a good meat at home. Me and a group of friends came to Moxies for dinner one the night before our cruise. I made a reservation ahead of time because there were about 10 of us. We LOVED it. The food was so good, the service was great, the ambiance was perfect, and it was in a pretty popular area of Miami too. Me and my fiancé got the Fresh Guacamole (for the table) and the spicy tuna roll to share between the two of us. It was so good. The guacamole definitely tasted fresh and the chips had such a good seasoning to it, I think it may have been Tajin or something related. The tuna roll was really good too. The fish was fresh and the sauce was the perfect addition. It came with 6 pieces. Highly recommend both these appetizers! For my main course, I got the Cashew Chicken Lettuce Wraps. It's noted as an appetizer, but you can definitely have it as a full meal if you're the only one eating it, which I was. It was SO GOOD. So flavorful and tasted so much better than your average chicken lettuce wrap that you would get elsewhere. I'm missing them right now, as I am typing actually. My fiancé got the Italian chopped salad with chicken. It was HUGE. The salad was definitely massive, and wasn't able to be finished in one sitting, so we took the rest home. The salad was good and flavorful as it had so many ingredients and a really good red wine vinaigrette. Both main dishes were excellent! I also requested got a jalapeno margarita for my drink....highly recommend. It had the perfect amount of spice and sweetness. As you can probably already tell, I have nothing but good things to say about Moxies. The food and drinks were great, the service was awesome, and the ambiance was perfect. We were also celebrating my birthday too, and they brought out a nice little dessert with some candles too, which was such a nice touch. It's a shame there are no Moxies here in Atlanta where I live, but if I ever find myself back in Miami again, I am definitely going to come back here. 5/5 stars, hands down!!! read more
