As part of staying at the Morongo Hotel casino, they gave me a free appetizer at Mozen Asian Kitchen . The gentleman who seats us is very accommodating. The service behind the bar and wait staff is extremely slow. maybe they didn't have enough help on, but the bartender was really slow and the gentleman next to me who was only having drinks was getting fed up and decrease the amount of her tip and was complaining about her. The area is very clean and nice. Will think about if I go back again.

Tom Ka soup. I know it doesn't look like your typical soup, but it was really good.

I have not been to this restaurant, even though I've been to the casino. 1000 times. We always go to Wahlburgers or the good times Café. We were pleasantly surprised because the food was really really good. I love Tom Ka soup, and the server told me to make sure that it was something. I really liked because a lot of people don't eat it. I looked for pictures of it on yelp, and no one had a picture of it. When it arrived it definitely didn't look like my regular. Tom Ka soup but I was surprised because it was amazing. We also had the poke nachos Also amazing. I do suggest reservations because it does get busy.

We stopped in for a quick bite and drinks, and this spot delivered just what we were looking for. Seated along the railing facing the casino floor, we had plenty of entertainment with nonstop people-watching and a great view of the lively atmosphere. This was perfect for not committing to a full dining experience. You can check out my menu pics to see the variety of small bites they offer. We started with the egg rolls. While clearly commercially made, they still hit the spot. The vegetables inside were crisp and fresh-tasting, and the wrapper was thin, giving a good balance between stuffing and dough. The dipping sauce was slightly sweet but not bland--flavorful enough to round out each bite. Next up were the Asian Sticky Ribs. These came out hot, tender, and generously sauced. The glaze was very sweet--bordering on dessert-level sweetness--but still rich enough to make each bite satisfying. The ribs themselves were meaty; they were filling due to the richness of the sauce and cut. It's a convenient place for a casual meal or a snack while taking in the energy of the casino.

Mozen Asian Kitchen is located inside the Casino Morongo Resort & Spa near the Oasis Pool. Passing by, I already knew I wanted to eat here because of the decor. We were a party of 6 and were seated quickly. We ordered enough for a family style dinner. Here's what we had: * Kalbi Short Ribs - This was delicious and incredibly flavorful. It tasted much better than the Kalbi (Galbi) we recently had at Dubu in Eastvale. It came with a side of kimchi - the kimchi was too fermented for my liking, as I prefer a fresher batch. * Garlic Green Beans - Delicious. The green beans were cooked perfectly where it still had the 'snap' and not overly cooked. I loved the pieces of garlic and whatever sauce they used to make this. * Yuzu Calamari - This was good. I liked the yuzu cream but I would have preferred it on the side. One side of the calamari was overly dressed while the opposite side had no dressing. * Combo Fried Rice - Really good. The rice came in a bowl shape and was tightly packed so there was plenty of rice. I prefer this type because I don't like the rice being dry and separate; I prefer my rice in 'clumps' - it's better than it sounds lol. * Chicken Pot Stickers - While I was too full to try this, everyone at the table loved this. They said that the sauce was a sesame oil base and was really good. * Jasmine Green Tea - As soon as our server brought this out, I immediately recognized the tea pot and tea from Tea Forte. While I prefer loose leaf tea, this wasn't bad. It's a trusted brand and the Jasmine Green was a solid choice. We also had some Shirley Temples for our table. The service was a little slower than we liked but the staff were all nice. I'm sure it was just a busy night. Our appetizers (potstickers and calamari) came out last. The ambiance is nice because it's away from the casino floor. And the interior is just beautiful. Loved the navy blue, browns and touches of ivory. The tables were a little low. If you're tall and have a longer torso, it'll be weird eating. The seats were comfortable though. Overall, I really enjoyed it here. The food was actually good if you order the right stuff - don't just go for plain Beef & Broccoli (lol). Their Kalbi is the best menu item we had. I'd love a thicker cut on it, though, but it was still grilled to perfection. Our server Daisy was great and so was Anthony who brought out our drinks. I'd definitely come back again. 4.4/5

I had a great experience here! The customer service was excellent everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions are more than generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. The strawberry margarita was one of my favorites perfectly balanced and so refreshing. I truly recommend this place if you're looking for great service, amazing food, and a great overall dining experience!

The Mozen restaurant is very nicely decorated with a peaceful ambiance. And, it did not smell like smoke. Thank goodness was! Our server, Bertha, was very nice and totally on the ball. The Kung Pao was a 4/5 as well as needed salt and the pow. And my beef and broccoli was well... Luke warm and the sauce on top thick. No, I was not going to send it back. I ate what I could and that was that. All in all though we did have a nice experience and we would go back. Recommended to try.

After driving in from Los Angeles, it was a pleasure to find a decent place to eat inside the casino. Very pleasant interior with high ceilings and service was very friendly and professional. Accidentally walked in through the bar instead of restaurant front area but the hosts made a joke and we were given a choice of tables. Waitress checked on table at least 3 times, busser refilled water, and manager greeted us. Started with the steamed shrimp dumplings. Nice plump shrimp filling but the wrapper was a bit thick and the sauce at the bottom didn't enhance the flavor. I asked for some hot sauce and the Sriracha like choice helped. Got beef chow fun which was generously served, but the beef was tough and it had no wok hey. The hot sauce helped this dish too. The garlic green beans were very nicely done with fried garlic and chili crisp, with a bit of sweetness in the sauce. Again a very generous serving. Prices were reasonable for all three dishes the total was $60 including 20% tip. Would go back and try some of their other dishes like the soups or fried rice.

My fiancé Bertha and I went there on a Saturday afternoon to chill over some food and drinks and to also catch the 2025 Wold Series (GO DODGERS!) and we had the most amazing time. Not only was the place packed with Dodger fans (and one Toronto fan) but in all the craziness going on there was two individuals working the bar and the tables there that made the whole experience amazing. The first one was Karena, this person is AMAZING and really knows how to treat her guests. She is very attentive and knowledgeable of what she can offer you and has recommendations to what they offer to eat. Even though the place was packed she always made it a point to stop by and make sure we had what we wanted or if we needed anything else. She is so friendly and engaging with you. And when she wasn't around there was always Valerie, her and Karena are usually working together and make a great team. Even though she wasn't our server she often would stop by if Karena was busy and ask if we needed anything. I have seen this place go through bartenders in the past and I have to say that this team works just like the Dodgers did this year and WIN!!! The food was great we usually get the spicy garlic edamame with extra sauce! The fried mushrooms are a hit as well. The drinks were nice and strong, the only thing I would recommend is for them to have blenders there at the bar so they could offer blended drinks too. In closing we enjoy coming to Mozen all the time. We love the upbeat atmosphere at the bar and if we want more quiet we would get a table inside the restaurant. Both places have a really dedicated team that will make sure you have "GOOD TIMES" just like the casino claims!

YUM! Stopped by when we first got to Morongo Casino. Greeted and sat by Samantha who was super informative with our questions and very sweet! Our waitress/server was Karena and she was the best as well. I was not sure what to order and was stuck between 2 dishes and she helped me choose and was not wrong! We got the Drunken Noodles with Chicken (background plate) & Pad Thai which comes with Chicken and Shrimp (forefront of photo & my plate). Large portions and delicious!! I wasn't even done and I already wanted more haha. We had leftovers which was nice because I am excited for lunch tomorrow now. Cozy little environment too. We sat on the outside bar section (but it's still enclosed so it's separated from the casino), but you can also choose to sit inside so it's more of a restaurant vibe. There is also a section where you can walk up and order and it's always packed to go for you which is a great option too! I'm excited for my next visit as I'm not a gambler - so you'll catch me eating here to kill time. The fortune cookies are delicious too!

After a day of traveling, the family and I ended up here for dinner which ended up being really good. No wait to get in, and the staff was all so helpful and friendly. We ended up ordering the calamari, the sautéed Brussels sprouts, the teriyaki beef (which had large chunks of steak!) and the fried rice. It was a lot of food for the four of us, so we didn't try any of the desserts but they all sounded really delicious on the menu. Although it's inside a casino, the restaurant had a nice feel and kept it intimate yet large enough for groups. Wouldn't mind returning again the next time I'm in town.

The place smells decent, decently easy to find so no issues there. Cleanliness: the Buffett definitely needs some upgrading and cleaning. The rug smells and feels sticky to walk on, the counter area was clean but the ice cream section needed a deep clean, the cones were out of the packing and stale. The sprinkles were covered in ice cream and all over the place. The machine was covered in dried ice cream and caked on. I did not go into the restrooms, so I am not sure Food: cold. Everything except for the hibachi I got was cold. Shrimp, pork, chicken, all cold. They have an okay variety of deserts but other than the coffee and orange ones they were pretty bad. The flavor of the food was good, but the temperature of it was what really grossed me out and worry about food poisoning. It was during dinner at around 4pm so crab legs were included. My daughter devoured them and so did I. Best part of the buffet. Customer service: the waiters were very nice and kept our table clear. As soon as they notice we had our empty plates they would come around and grab them. I did notice and maybe it was just for that moment but we did get different waiters just grabbing our plates. Maybe they are doing a system where everyone waits on every table. Whatever they were doing it worked! We did mention at the end that our food was cold after we had paid and all because we were asked how we liked it. She did apologize and told us we should have brought up sooner so they could warm it up. That since it was slow the food gets cold. It was nice she apologized and all, but working in the food industry myself it is not any of the customers job to remind you to keep an eye on food temps. And you're supposed to keep food hot. Regardless they were nice. Would I come back? No. Would I recommend it? No. $60 for two adults $9 for my 4 yr old and $5 for my two yr old. So basically $80 for a family of 4 for cold food. Flavor was good though. So if you want to try it maybe you're lucky and get hot foods

On our journey to Palm Springs my team left the food choices to me since I'm picky. Lol. We showed up on a Wednesday night (note that they do not open Monday and Tuesday), around 4:40 PM. There was already a long line of individuals waiting to get in. There were about 15 people ahead of us. At opening, we were immediately sat down into the second dining room to the right of the restaurant. It gives a different vibe than the main room with its red bench seating and lantern ceiling. Although the benches were high, and the tables were a little low, we managed. Of course, we tried the complementary congee. Which I love, but my colleagues were not a big fan of. We ordered the calamari and the crispy beef noodle. We also ordered the shrimp and mango spring roll, the softshell crab and green papaya salad, and the pork belly lettuce wraps. The shining stars, for my colleagues were the calamari and crispy beef noodle. Followed by the shrimp and mango spring rolls and the softshell crab. The three of us did not enjoy the pork belly at all even though it came recommended. We actually only ate 2 pieces. The food overall was good although we wish we didn't get the pork or at least stuck to our goal of four main dishes. The waitress recommended we get one more and that's when we added the pork. Next time we will go with our gut instinct. One thing that was disappointing on this visit was that when we ordered drinks, one of them came out in a can. We were under the assumption it was a draft pour. For $14 it should have been noted that it is canned. The way that it is written into the menu no one would assume otherwise.

For appetizers, our favorites were the crispy ginger green beans (so flavorful and tasty!), the hand-rolled crispy egg rolls (yum!); and the crunchy tiger shrimp spring rolls (freshy and tasty; liked these better than the poached shrimp spring rolls or mango spring rolls). For entrees, our top favorites were the (1) chicken protein bowl w/ fresh seasonal vegetables in a delicious sauce w/ a touch of chili oil and tamari soy sauce; (2) the sweet tamari glazed salmon w/ wok fried rice noodles nad peanut tamarind sauce; and (3) the pad thai trio (w/ pork, chicken & shrimp). The tiger shrimp vermicelli w/ shrimp wontons (like a crispy egg roll), was good, but not the best I've had; noodles were thicker than usual. The spicy red curry ramen w/ pork belly had a very flavorful sauce, but the coconut broth made it quite heavy. The Vietnamese crepe w/ pork & shrimp was good, but had too many bean sprouts. FOOD QUALITY: Really good for what it is, I would have liked a bit more spice or to at least to have been asked for spice level options. I'd say spice level was like a 1 at other Thai places. Rice noodle was great. WAITSTAFF: We arrived at open 11:30am, very nice and attentive getting us seated and order in, then they were packed. Only one person on the floor doing everything, he was amazing dealing with seating, orders, and payment. OVERALL VALUE: It is fair but not inexpensive, a good value for sure for our local place that is reliable and consistent. TIP: This is a small restaurant so be kind, when busy they can only go so fast getting your food delivered or the check, They do take out as well.

The manager made a special trip to our table when we asked about the ginger. It was Saturday so I am sure he was very busy but still took the time, great customer service. For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. His robot server sidekick also sang happy birthday! I did feel like they were understaffed because the lobby hostess had to find the server for me several times when I asked for our cake and the check. Overall, it's a great place for large groups and celebrations.

Great employees and Great Fried Seafood Udon Noodle!!!…read more My family and I shared the Xiao Long Bao, the Fried Seafood Udon Noodle, the BBQ Pork Noodle Soup, and the Combo Pala Fried Rice XO Sauce. The Xiao Long Bao comes with 5 of them, and they come with soy sauce and picked ginger. They look amazing, but most of the soup fell out because the dough stuck to the parchment paper. The meat inside the Xiao Long Bao is decent, and it pairs great with the pickled ginger and soy sauce. The Fried Seafood Udon Noodle was a favorite out of all the dishes we ordered. It doesn't taste greasy, and everything in the dish is paired well together. The texture of the noodles were perfect, and there's no complaints about the dish. The BBQ Pork Noodle Soup tasted a bit greasy, but the noodles seem to pair well with the BBQ Pork Wontons. The wontons didn't have a strong BBQ Pork flavor, but it did taste different enough from regular pork wontons where you could consider it BBQ Pork. The Combo Pala Fried Rice XO Sauce looked great, but it also tasted greasy. The components in the fried rice were great, but there was just this greasy taste all over. The service was amazing. All the employees were so kind, helpful, and all smiles. They're all very quick, and they're all great! There's plenty of seating inside of the restaurant, and there's seating outside the restaurant. The line for ordering at the restaurant can become long very quickly, but luckily the employees are fast with taking orders and placing orders. The restaurant is unfortunately in a "Smoking Allowed" zone of the casino so it can get a bit nauseating to eat outside the restaurant. I would come here again! The Fried Seafood Udon Noodle was great, and I'd get it again!

Craving a burger. Good Times Cafe was it. We were here with friends and the variety was vast so…read moreeveryone could order just about anything they wanted. I think we all ended up with burgers LOL! I had the burger with a slice of brisket. This was a filling burger. I could have had more of that brisket though. That slice of brisket outshined the burger, but the burger patty was good too. It had some bbq sauce and onion strings. This was a fork and knife situation. This was enjoyed with a side salad that kept the meal refreshing. The service was great. Staff helped each other left and right. Teamwork was a big plus! We sat upfront on high tops, but if you sit towards the back you'll have views of the pool area (best on a nice sunny day).

Nothing memorable…read more It had taken us, and everyone in line behind us, at least 20 minutes to get seated, because there was no front desk attendant. He or she was off in the back doing god knows what. Once seated, drinks didn't come for another 10 minutes after requesting. Alcohol took another 10 minutes, added to the original. Food had taken another 30 minutes, added onto the original time. We had literally waited over an hour for anything real to transpire from this place. I can only imagine the guests prior. Once food arrived, it was no big whoop. I've had better. Asked for my check, and didn't give a tip. The waiter was slow and incompetent. Didn't even ask for refills at any point. Speaking of waiters, there was only one waiting on all tables, while there were other staff working and doing absolutely nothing. On top of all of that, the casino was pretty garbage. Bonuses were not happening...LMAO!!!
