Geeesh! Where are all the employees? The girl taking the orders at the cash register was super slow. What the heck was she doing? And then when I finally ordered she told me to go stand over there to the side to wait for my drink. All I got was one drink and it took close to a half hour for the wait!!! There were no employees at all working behind the counter making any drinks except for the slow girl at the cash register. Then finally after like 15 min...2-3 girls come out from the back and start all of a sudden making a bunch of drinks. I was like where the heck have they been? All on break together? And then when I asked one of the girls a question I got a big ol attitude! You make a minimum of 15 bucks an hour and you're giving me an attitude? Go home then!! Where were you anyway for the last 15 min? That's ridiculous that I had to wait for a half hour for one drink. And whenever I would look back over to Mozen when I was sitting over at the tables...all the girl employees disappeared again as there were customers milling around wondering if the place was open or not. I wish I remembered to take photos. Hated the boba and drinks but food was delicious! I had the oolong year and peach tea and thought these drinks were mediocre and I didn't enjoy the boba in it at all. I normally don't even get my tea sweetened but I asked the put sweetener in my oolong tea just so I can enjoy it more but I still ended up hating it lol. The food though, I enjoyed more than I thought I would! I ordered the crab fried rice along with boo choy and it was SO good! The crab meat was so good and the rice was definitely better than regular fried rice (I was trying not to expect much lol) the bok choy was amazing! I couldn't stop eating it! Beautifully appointed....although...... The food tasted like it was out of the package. The Pad thai was soured, the Shu Mai balls were dry because there was hardly any filling. I couldn't believe how ugly the boba could possibly be (taste wise). I didn;t know that there a was possibility of Boba gone wrong. Make sure your food comes out (or maybe even warm). The pot stickers came out cold It (the meal} almost tasted a little worse than airline food. Make sure they guarantee that your food comes out hot. I was very confusing and not a direct answer (had to ask 3 people) on how to order a meal here ...not even a sign. You order at a fast food counter and get a number. Out of place ordering when you think it is a different caliber looking and you will have a server. Maybe that's possibly why there were only a few patrons. It's just not all thought out. Today came in I was greeted by miss ( Aurora ) she had a great attitude. Great customer service. She had a bunch of joy, was very helpful and was able to have a good conversation with me. After a long wait in line to order your food, after a long wait to get your drinks, after a long wait to get your food, and your utensils... which by the way came after the food... and after all that - the food was cold and tasted so very so so. Have eaten here several times but this particular time (Tuesday 04/26) it just turned out to be an awful experience. For one, that particular evening they didn't have any dishes that had chicken on it - imagine that ! a chinese restaurant (or any restaurant for that matter) that didn't have a chicken based dish. I mean just how difficult would it be to have an employee just drive to a local supermarket and pick up some chicken ?? AND - please do something about the service. food quality seems be going from ok to bad... and the one constant is the bad service. Once the server drops off your food, the place becomes a ghost town. Every server seems to have disappeared, and if you do see and hail one make sure you have your list prepared with what you need (water, refills, napkins, etc. etc.) to make optimal use of the opportunity. I'm sure the restaurant employees are hard workers, but please, please add more servers or do something and we'll continue to patronize your restaurant. you're the only decent asian restaurant in the area (other than panda express) so don't blow it. read more

Everything about this place was amazing!! Food was delicious, staff were way to kind and the overall place was so beautiful and clean. Alexandria and I believe Tommy, were some of the best staff we had tonight. Also another girl, unfortunately I couldn't get her name, but she cleaned up the mess I made when my tea spilled and even got me a replace one. If your gonna get anything, make sure get the teriyaki beef, so juicy and tender!! Alongside that, we ordered mochi but I wasn't sure if my sisters would like them, so I only ordered one order, but Alexandria brought us more so that we could try them. Overall, this place was a great experience and we only paid 300 for 7 people, not to mention the two bags of food we took home since their portion sizes were really big. And although it's big, the quality is absolutely fantastic. Originally we planned to to eat at the neighboring buffet but the doors closed at 8. Credit card was charged upon ordering that I had to include 18% tip upfront. Hot tea was served in a paper cup with "pink coffee" logo. It ruined year end dinner atmosphere. We are party of 5. 3 dishes were served rather quickly. 1 dish was served after 35min when the 3 people almost finished. Another dish was served only after we asked about it. Not sure it was forgotten. There was nearly no service. I usually don't mind services but at this time I regret that I tipped $24. Can I have my money back? It wasn't a good experience. First time here and probably won't be back. Ordered my food which was the beef bulgogi and the beef pho. The beef bulgogi was kind of dry since it wasn't saucy enough and tasted rushed with little flavor. The beef pho was the main dish I was waiting for but it never arrived since the chefs left for the night and didn't even bother to make my dish even though I had already ordered it and the people behind me received their pho dish (even though I ordered first) however mine never came. To top it off no one even bothered to tell me my food wasn't going to be made. Complete waste of time when you want to have dinner together and I'm stuck watching everyone else's eat. We ordered egg rolls, which were crispy and tasty. Our garlic vegetables were delicious, and the seafood udon noodles were so good. Wasn't at all what I expected. We ordered $150 worth of food the only food that didn't taste to bad was the pho and Korean short ribs which was not hot when it came out. The fried rice was ok everything else we had ordered was nasty. The Kung pao chicken was sweet and thick sauced which was very different from what a Chinese restaurant would serve up it was bad. We ate our food because we were hungry but the taste of all of them was not what we thought it should be awful food. My husband and I were staying at Morongo for a quick getaway and were looking forward to a nice dinner. The steakhouse was closed so we opted for Mozen instead. FIRST of all, it was NOT a nice romantic dinner as I hoped. There was no service. You order what you want at the boba counter, pay for it there, and then put a number on your table like you are at a fast food restaurant. There is no wait staff. My husband had salt and pepper shrimp. It came with the heads and legs on and way undercooked so it was really difficult to either eat with the shell on or get the shell off. No veggies. Nothing else. Just a plate of near raw sauced up shrimp staring at you. I ordered Beef Bulgogi and it was the absolute WORST bulgogi I have ever had. Overcooked, and DROWNING in salt. It was the saltiest meat I have ever tasted. I was really hungry, having skipped meals that day so that I would appreciate a nice dinner so I dumped steamed rice all over it, trying to tame down the salt and only then was it palatable. I ate about a third and washed it down with three glasses of water and a boba green tea and I still felt like I just drowned in the ocean. The entire rest of the night I just felt sick. I decided to go back and tell them how terrible it was (because there wasn't anyone around while I was eating it) and they just said that I probably drank too much water and water makes it saltier. (lol. seriously. that's exactly what they said}. I told them that I wasn't trying to get it free or get anything for it, and I just wanted to let them know how bad it was so they could fix it before anyone else had such an experience and the guy rolled his eyes. PhoBo skimpy on ingredients broth tasty but oily and needed more depth, and not super hot, shrimp and pork sui mei less than hot, 8.5/10 flavor, charsui bao filling bland sweetish shredded pork filling but overall temp warmish, Garlic stir fried veggies were tasty but some of the veg were far undercooked and not edible 5/10, I know you also would expect perfectly cooked vegetables in an Asian restaurant too. 2 orders of green tea which was so pungent and couldn't be finished must have in a hot ern stewing for a couple hours$65 dollars for self service for 2 persons and food only barely 2 stars at best. I haven't been to morongo in a long time. My husband and I decided to eat at Mozen. We were a bit confused on how things worked here. It looked like there were serveral areas you could order from. An employee approached us, and explained how everything worked. I guess you can only order food to go at the boba bar or you can sit down inside the restaurant. We decided to eat inside. The manager was so helpful and got us seated. She made sure we were taken care throughout our dinner which was nice. Our server Jessica was a sweetheart. My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal lunch at Mozen, and we could not be more pleased with the customer service, quality of the food, and overall vibes of this restaurant. From day one, when we spoke with Joria about 6 months prior to the event, we were impressed with how helpful and responsive the staff was in answering our questions and accommodating to all our unique requests (such as being willing to store our cupcakes and serve them to our guests after the lunch). On the day of the lunch, our guests were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. We were soon served tasty asian cuisine and creative boba drinks. Despite our large event (50 people) for a somewhat smaller restaurant, Joria and her staff were present and available throughout our meal. Afterwards, they graciously packed up all our food in to-go boxes and gave them to guests to take home. It was such a joy to see guests stick around and chat well after the meal was over because they were enjoying themselves so much at Mozen. 5+ stars to this delicious and homey restaurant! read more
