    Total rubbish

Ordered a sandwich. Had to pick it up. Still arrived Ed looking it was run over by a truck. Tasted like garage. Poor ingredients assembled by somewhere who doesn't care. Then charges you $18 (with tax and service fees!!) and expects a tip. Another good place gone by rotting inside out.

    Dig the Fig Sandwich

This place is amazing! I love a good sandwich and during my lunch break I decided to try Mozzo. My friend had recommended it, but I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Upon walking in, I saw they had a great selection of classic sandwiches with various bread options. The service was excellent and patient as I reviewed the menu. I chose the Dig the Fig, which was piled high with pastrami and a thick spread of fig preserves on ciabatta. The sandwich was a bit pricey at around $13, but considering the amount of filling and the quality of the bread, I completely understood the price. I also tried their Iced Green Tea with Honey, which was so delicious it has inspired me to make it at home. It was really refreshing on a hot day and had just the right amount of sweetness. All in all, I will definitely be returning to this location to try more of their options!

    Burnt bagel

I've been going to Mozzo Deli for years -- first when visiting Charleston, and now living here. I've always liked the Mt. Pleasant location, so when I moved up the street from the downtown one, I figured it would be the same quality. After four visits, I can say this is easily the worst Mozzo I've ever been to. The food just isn't made well. * The chicken Caesar wrap was not good. * The roast beef sandwich barely had any meat on it. * The Mother Bird has been the best thing I've had here, and it was still only a 6/10. * Overall, everything feels under-filled and thrown together. But the final straw was this morning. I ordered two bagels: * one not toasted with a side of cream cheese * one toasted with butter After waiting 10 minutes for two bagels, they brought out the wrong thing -- a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Then, instead of fixing their mistake, they charged me again for the second bagel. And when it came out, they had burned it. I literally paid extra for a burnt bagel because of their error. Customer service was not just bad -- it was nonexistent. If you mess up an order, you fix it, you don't charge the customer again. That's basic. At this point, I honestly don't know if I'll keep going to the Mt. Pleasant Mozzo either, because this location left such a bad taste in my mouth. But I can say for sure: I will never be coming back to this Mozzo again.

Mozzo definitely has a local vibe to it. Stop in for a nice breakfast sandwich and a coffee. Lady at the front was super nice. The coffee and the bagel were delicious!

Fire ass breakfast sandwich on a croissant. The service staff were absolute gems. Outdoor area was clean to wait on food and to enjoy it! Things I also enjoyed- Mozzo's specialty root beer!

If you're in the mood for a tasty sandwich and happen to be near this local spot, it's definitely worth a visit! Their bagels are absolutely delicious--fresh, soft, and perfectly toasted. The addition of turkey makes for a great post-workout meal, offering that lean protein boost while still being satisfying. Though the place is on the smaller side, it has a nice outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your meal on a sunny day. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or taking your time to enjoy the flavors, it's a solid spot for anyone looking for quality sandwiches.

I love Mozzo. My go to is this pictured steak egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I also love the juices, French toast, and burritos. Highly recommend!

    My pitiful muffuletta
    Jeanie N.

I was thrilled to find a place that served muffuletta sandwiches! After seeing Yelp reviews, I was excited to come here. It's a popular shop. No dining inside but you can quickly 'ale your order and sit on the sunny patio. We ordered and it took over 30 minutes to get our sandwich. We watched other people come and go and stare at us as we sat in seats waiting for food. We figured once we ordered, we would eat and go. We finally got our sandwiches but had to leave since we only had an hour for lunch. We sat down to eat lunch offsite and my sandwich was dry. Only one tablespoon of the olive tapenade. I wasn't impressed. Pics of fluffy sandwiches on the reviews and I had a few slices of cold cuts with provolone. Pretty underwhelmed with this cafeteria looking Sammy.

Turkey sandwich on gluten free bread

We checked out Mozzo Deli as a to go order from the website. The order was ready on time for our pick up and the process was really well orchestrated. Plenty of spaces to park while picking up which is always appreciated for convenience. I ordered the Gaucho sandwich on ciabatta bread. It is a really good roast beef sandwich with chimichurri sauce and gooey delicious cheese. It was Amazing and I enjoyed every bite. ] My companion had a turkey sandwich on Gluten Free bread which was a very generous portion and it is always great to find gluten free options. We will definitely come back for more! , solid downtown lunch option.

    Chicken Caesar Sandwich

Usually love this place, but ordered a chicken Caesar wrap today and it was not how it usually turns out... it was just a bunch of grilled chicken covered in dressing with one piece of lettuce mashed in there :(

    Green Apple juice drink
    A J.

The Cuban sandwich I had was delicious. I drive past this place all the time and finally gave it a try. The guy who took my order suggested a green apple juice drink...amazing! The place is small and in a tiny corner area but it's just enough. Will come back to try another sandwich.

I got the St. Philip pita, which was incredible and almost tasted like a halal cart chicken sandwich in the best way. It was so filling and so good. It came with a really tasty side salad. Our waiter was super busy & at times hard to flag down. He did a nice job of refills for the kids, but when the food came out, we literally had zero napkins and zero utensils. That is basic stuff- I shouldn't have to flag down people for when getting seated. I ended up finding another waiter who was helping to bring out our food and asking him for napkins and cutlery. The beignets here are not what you expect- think super mini ones versus the classic ones you get from Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans or other joints. We would have placed two orders of them except I knew the brunch plates would be big, and we wanted our kiddos to eat their meal before filling up on sweets. I got the Meeting plate- double portion of crab cakes on top of fried green tomatoes with grits and a huge buttermilk biscuit, where I didn't finish the biscuit and had one of our kids eat half of it. I was craving some fried green tomatoes but also wanted seafood so that worked out! My partner got the fried green tomatoes BLT and loved it. One of our kids got the chicken and waffles, another ate all of the fried chicken tenderloins, and our third really wanted buttermilk pancakes that were a hefty plate. No shortage of being hungry at this place! The food was good, but I would not say it was anything too different than any other brunch place-but for, the fried green tomatoes & other southern offerings like grits that you wouldn't get in other parts of the country. There are only two wash rooms, so there can be a wait especially when you have a long line of ladies waiting FYI. Prices are not too bad and standard for brunch so still an alternative when you are looking for fuel to fill up before doing your shopping on King's Street.
