First off, I want to thank previous reviewers for recommending Mr. Beenz! We were shopping nearby and I was checking out Yelp for recommendations. We are so thankful we decided to stop in. I had the biscuits and gravy with the home fries and over-easy eggs. I can't believe it! Better than what I had down Georgia last week!! Wanted to try Mr. Beenz Diner off of the reviews and rating from Yelp. Today was the day and I'm so happy I came to this diner. It is a small diner and waited about 10 minutes to be seated which isn't a problem. Once seated, we waited a little bit to have our drinks and food ordered which was understandable due to how busy they were. Once ordered, food came in a timely manner and wow it was delicious. My boyfriend and I really liked it. I got the Country Biscuits and Gravy. My scrambled eggs were so moist, the sausage gravy had a good amount of seasoning. And the hash browns were buttery. My boyfriend loved his food, he devoured it. I tried his French toast and it was good. As far the prices, they were reasonable. We plan on coming back to try the lunch. read more

My mother took me here for lunch when I came to visit here and help her with a long list of house and yard chores. It was a Friday afternoon, around closing time for the diner. I had never been here, but my mother frequently comes with her friends because of the quality of the food as well as the variety (she is Vegan). The diner is small, and is unremarkable in its aesthetic. The menu has a variety of breakfast choices, sandwiches , burgers and wraps. We were seated immediately, and they are seating to capacity in this restaurant. All of the servers did properly wear masks during the duration of our meal. Our server was very busy, her section got slammed with several tables seating simultaneously. Despite that, she went above and beyond being apologetic for having longer wait times for drinks and getting food to us. I was enjoying my time with my mom, so I personally was not bothered b the waiting, but it says a lot about their staff that they care that much. I ordered the Philly Steak Sandwich with a side of Cole Slaw. My Vegan mother ordered the vegetable wrap (no cheese of course) and we split a side of fries. The fries they serve here are the crispy, coated fries. They were hot and went well with my sandwich. I love steak sandwiches, and I hold them in a high standard. I really enjoyed the one served here. It was of a quality chopped steak with a good ratio of onions and peppers. It was finished wit mozzarella cheese (not cheese whiz) which help the sandwich together nicely (not a lot fell out of it while I was eating). They typically serve it on a sub roll, but they had run out and substituted two sandwich rolls instead. Overall it was a great sandwich, better then I was expecting. Had I looked more closely at the menu, I noticed later that they had a Country Sweet version of this sandwich using Country Sweet sauce. Next time I come I will definitely try that. Though I did not try it - my mom's wrap looked wonderful. They used artichoke among the other vegetables in the wrap - something a little more upscale that I would not have expected at a corner diner. My mother considers Mr. Beenz her go-to gem. After experiencing this place, it is hard not to agree. I look forward to coming back again sometime. read more

Stopped here again on a very busy morning. It took awhile to be seated as there are limited spots. One guy all alone took a booth, has his breakfast, and then sat there on his phone. Come on man! There are people waiting. I could not tell what he was doing, hopefully he was Yelping! The service was great compared to how busy it was and food came hot and as ordered. This place is a typical diner. However, everything I have ordered has been great and the staff is fast and friendly.

The food was excellent. The service was great. It was freezing in there. If they got the heater fixed go! If not, wait until they do.

If diners suit your style, this is a good one. They have a comprehensive breakfast menu, but I opted for lunch. I had the paddy melt which turned out to be a bigger portion than I could handle. I ordered the fries crispy and they were exactly the way I like them. The coffee was good and kept full by a pleasant, efficient waitress. My only disappointment was the lack of soup on the menu. So often homemade soup is delish at this sort of spot. If your expectation is diner fare well prepared, you won't be disappointed at Mr. Beenz. read more

I ordered home fries with onions, and I got burned onions, and chunky, paprika, tasteless potatoes. My toast was dry and burned, the water tasted awful. My husband's omelette was dry and flat. The hashbrowns were oily, and grease was just everywhere. I would not recommend eating here. read more

I have never had a poor experience here, it's always consistent! My boyfriend who used to be a cook is SO critical everywhere we go, and I've yet to hear a bad comment from him whenever we visit Mr. Beenz I like that they always have specials, and a nice sized menu with the right amount of options. On the weekend you can order, anything whenever. On the weekdays after 11am they stop serving waffles and eggs Benedict. (I'm not even complaining I'm just letting everyone know) Definitely a small diner vibe but without feeling crowded. My boyfriend and I would much rather go here than Shmegs down the road. The food here comes out at a timely manner and is always hot! Unlike at Shmegs when you go there and no matter if there's a full house or just a couple patrons, you're waiting a good 35-40 minutes for lukewarm food. The staff is also really nice too and we always have the same waitress who is extremely personable. I recommend this place for people who are trying to find a nice "hole in the wall" breakfast/lunch establishment with very reasonable prices! read more

We were in a time crunch and there was a really long wait at the place we had planned to get breakfast one Sunday so YELP to the rescue again!!! We found Mr Beenz just a few minutes down the road and were able to sit immediately. So pleasantly surprised!! I was happy to find something a little different in the Greek breakfast quesadilla and bf was thrilled to get his standby eggs and potatoes, meat and a biscuit.. think it was a "platter" of some kind. He got a side of the sausage gravy to dip everything in and he said it was really good. Good hot coffee, great server.. small, cute place. I love the relaxed atmosphere. The servers are great. The price is right. I suspect that they focus more on breakfast than lunch. There aren't any frills, so don't expect any. The fries were really good. I wish they had some malt vinegar to go with them, but I guess you shouldn't really expect that from a small diner. What you should be able to expect is some tomato sauce on your chicken parmigiana. I got a piece of chicken and some cheese on a bun. It was acceptable quality, but I had to put ketchup on it to get it there. But, come on. Put some tomato sauce on your chicken parm. Otherwise, it isn't a chicken parm. With that said, I'll be back at least a couple more times to give them more chances with other dishes. Other than the goof on my sandwich, I really like everything else about the place. Hopefully I can find a lunch item or two that I can thoroughly enjoy. read more

Truly a hidden gem but maybe not for long since the secret is getting out. When it comes to craving a great meal next to homemade this place nails it . Great portions , great quality, and nicely executed meals. The service is just as great too. The food was good but not great and the sitting area is very small. I felt like I was stuffed in a corner. The bench was so close to the table it was hard to get your feet past the legs of the table. Ordered a western omelette they put the bare minimum ingredients in there 3 egg omelette . I actually finished it which I'm never able to do. 1$ for a slice of cheese and 1$ for the smallest cup of meat hot sauce is a bit pricey for what you get.
