This spot is brand new but in a classic location once home to a West Sacramento classic, Run n Tell. It is right off the road which makes it easy to pull up to and grab a bite and then do it moving again. I like to call my orders ahead here. I live really close so I can grab the food, pay and be home and my food is still piping hot. I really like the burritos here. They're filled with plenty of savory Mexican meats, I typically go with Asada. The rice is really good and the pinto beans are on point. I like the salsas they give you on the side. Great kick to both the red and green. They serve menudo on the weekends and I've heard good things about it and I plan to try it soon. The tamales here look huge. I like the masa to meat ratio. I was in the area and was craving a burrito so I checked local yelp. Decided on Mr Burrito. Place is a very small walk up to the window and order. Got the carne asada burrito and pork tamales. Order didn't take that long to come out. I love my hot sauces so I asked for extra and they only gave me a few tiny ones. This place is pretty much only togo with 2 tables out front in the parking lot. The burrito wasnt anything that special. Your average size at best with a lot of rice and beans and very little meat with a ton of over lapped tortilla. Meat was seasoned ok but dry. It was 10$ so it wasnt that pricey but I probably wouldn't be back. The tamales had plenty of meat but was very dry. But I didn't have enough sauce for both unfortionantly. They have a green and orange sauce. They are both pretty good but again wish I would have had more. read more

Shout out to Cesar and the crew at Mr. Burrito! Wanted to check out West Sac's newest eatery for a quick to-go order and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the Cubano Torta for myself and the Asada Super Burrito for my hubby. The Torta is so large that we ravenous people shared and we were completely stuffed. I ordered the tortas Cubanas at $16 each. Drove from Woodland to pick them up, 1 hour round trip. The tortas were missing the hot links, the cheese and the milanesa. That's half of the torta but they still made sure to charge me the $16. I get that sometimes restaurants run out of ingredients but please let us know. Only thing it tuck like 30/35mins to get my 1 burrito. Idk if they were low staff so I don't wanna judge too much. If you're going for your lunch break or break period probably order ahead of time. This is a pick up and go type of place. There's no indoor dining. They have a few benches outside with umbrellas or you can eat in your car. I ordered a super burrito, torta gigante, and nachos. The burrito was a 7 out of 10. I'm used to my burritos being on the warm/hot side. This was kinda warm/cold by the time I got home to eat it. Had good flavor though. The torta was delicious and deserves a 8.5 out of 10. If you get a torta, you must eat it with the salsa/hot sauce. It's just works. Torta is huge and can feed two people. The nachos were good, but not for the price. The nachos do not come with sour cream or guacamole. For about $12, I expected there to be some. Nachos get a 6 out of 10. Overall, the food is good.
