I used to LOVE this place. The Rice plates we usually get, are amazing. The problem here is the customer service and the wait times. If you plan to eat here, you will spend NO LESS than THIRTY MINUTES WAITING. They seem to cater to the call ins, instead of whose sitting in the lobby. I'm confused because I have worked in Food and Hospitality for over 20 years. This is an entree of Rice (precooked) and veggies and Shrimp on a flat top grill. Fourth minutes?? I honestly forgot I was even hungry when I left. They've done some expanding, it seems to be messing with the food quality and service. It was better when it was smaller. They didn't mess up my food and it didn't take as long. Sat there almost 45 minutes, and still got the wrong food. It looked like what I ordered, but when I got it home- it was missing some things. The food is great but the wait times are HORRIBLE. I just waited 45 minutes for a rice dish smh everything is made to order but I'm pretty positive the rice is made before hand! It doesn't take 45 min to cook some rice and veggies on a flat top. I got a vegetarian dish. This is more about their accessibility than anything because I like their food. I just don't understand why you're in business when you can't handle the customers. You walk in, it takes long. You call first...they either don't pick up, or they're not taking phone orders. Maybe they're satisfied with the business they get but I can tell you that they've missed my $ quite a few times because they're not accessible by phone. I normally go to the location on MLK, however, they have been closed due to remodeling for 2 months. I decided to try this location out for a third time as they have a long wait and I refuse to give up 2 hours just to receive my food. I came across them on GrubHub for pick up & prior to placing my order, I called to make sure it was legit. My order was ready in 35 minutes and it even texted me saying my order was ready on time! While traveling to a function out in the boondocks of Fayetteville, to my surprise I discovered another Mr. Everything location. Being a frequent customer of the MLK location in Atlanta, I decided to give this location a try. I ordered my usual chicken over rice. The amount of chicken was significantly less than what you get at the Atlanta location. Also the vegetables were seared and burned as if the grill had not been scraped after the previous meal was cooked. Love the food! I get the rice with Black bean patty & teriyaki sauce, it's amazing! The lady with the nails is an awesome Atl personality you will never forget! There's a big sign warning you that the food will take a while (at least 30 mins) so I say plan for it, & you won't be disappointed! They usually have ample seating w/ few TVs or i wait in the car, hit the local gas stations, there's even shopping within 15 mins if you can plan it then even better! read more

Don't waste your time. I've been several times and the wait is not worth it. I went multiple times hoping that the past experiences were just exceptions. But everytime, I'm let down. 30 min wait for a shrimp salad. 45 minutes for a sandwich. When you actually get the food, it's not all that good. They use way too much salt and cheap ingredients. The steak is dry and a bad grade of meat. The chicken is dry. The cheese for the rice meals is literally a kraft singles cheese slice that they just throw on there. My only issue is that this location NEVER answers their phone. Because the preparation time takes longer than normal, calling ahead is best but if no one is going to answer the phone, what's the purpose? What really made me upset was that it's posted up in the establishment to do that (go figure). The last time I visited this location I called LITERALLY 15 times before going and NEVER got anyone. DO NOT eat anything from Mr Everything on Old National and Jonesboro Rd! I bought 8 plates from there for my family, got most of the way through mine and noticed I had a bug cooked into it. Went back there to tell them about it and they got an attitude and told me that it was a shrimp shell! The Manager refused to come out and speak with me. The cajun sauce they give you is pretty good (there's a list you can choose from). The rice is definitely overrated. It's has a lot of ingredients but without the choice of sauce it doesn't stand a chance on its own. I went there with a friend who hyped it up. I probably won't go back on my own. So so yum. Came here on an afternoon and had the grilled steak over yellow rice combo. They do have a sign that notifies the patrons that you must be patient, because everything is cooked fresh to order. Which doesn't bother me at all, because who likes cold food? Customers service is horrible!!! Called to place a to go order the young lady answered and immediately placed me on hold for 15-20 mins. Hung the phone up, figured she had no intention on returning to the call. Walked into the restaurant with no line and no people....??? I was the only customer in the building. The lady at the register was on the phone, I assume taking an order... (I assume this is the same lady that placed me on hold) I continued with placing my order. I asked her what time would be the best time to place a to go order, she replied with a dry, "it depends", I said on "what??" She commented saying "if were busy" ....ummm duhh!! When aren't u busy? Every restaurant or business has peaks and valley as I explained to her, letting her know I'm no dummy...but she continued with her immpersonable, nonchalant attitude which totally turned me off as a consumer. For the most part this place produces a good product. However, they are poorly run so the presentation and execution of the product isn't always the best. There's always a long wait, you cant call in orders half the time, and you also never know if there going to be out of shrimp, steak or whatever other ingredient you may like with your entree. But, when you slide in there on a slow day and all the ingredients are there its a slamming dish you cant get anywhere else. read more
