Had the famous chicken sandwich and I must say it was just ok, the sauce was good they put on it but it was kinda messy and I like messy sandwiches but it was kinda overboard. This was my first experience here and the girl behind the counter was not helpful and very dry. I waited abt 20 minutes for a sandwich and that's kinda long especially when I'm waving flies from flying around everywhere but the place is decent. I had the philly chess steak, 6 inch. It needed more cheese and it was really greasy but I guess that is what you'd expect for a cheese steak. The table was not clean. Great food for a good price. I always get the chicken and veggies over rice. It's enough for two meals. I did try a hotdog from there and wasn't too found of the taste or bread it came on. I will stick to what I know. I do suggest calling ahead. If you stay in there too long, you will carry out a grill scent...lol. I guess that's not a bad thing if you enjoy your meal. :) read more

First of all you will get a LOT of food! The downside is you will wait for at least 30-45 min if you have time I would definitely go here. If you are trying to get something quick go elsewhere. There salads are pretty good you will pay between 10-15 dollars depending on what you get or any extras like cheese or meat. There yellow rice dish is filling full of flavor I usually get the shrimp and chicken and occasionally I get the lamb. I'm giving it 3 stars cause of the wait but overall the food is good and plentiful I recommend this place. read more

As everyone else stated the customer service is horrific but I love the food. It's more of a call in your order and go home joint tho lol.I like to go to mom and pop independent joints for food for a fresh taste every now and then and this is it! I always get the salmon yellow rice dish and its always fresh and even though its a bit pricey it's well worth the money and you get a full heavy plate of food with two condiments of ur choice. My negative is that they never have friendly cashiers. They are either smart mouthed or ghetto. As much as I try to support my people I'd expect better customer service even from a small business. The customer service is pretty bad It's comparable to some in the hood movies or Shenenehs from Martin. We WERE new customers of the Riverdale location, but we won't be back. On our 3rd trip there in 3 days, we waited an hour only to find out the idiot cooks were not preparing orders as they were submitted, and we're only just starting ours. People were coming in after us and leaving with their food. And they are completely shiftless and unprofessional. Trying to support what I assume is a black business, but really???!!! The one on Old National Hwy Was good but now its Going down. The girl at the counter got attitude for no reason. I ordered the yellow Rice dish with chicken and shrimp and I promise I only had 4 small shrimp. They used to give you at least 6 medium size shrimp. For $15.50 i didn't get my money's worth. Then they stingy with the sauce. I asked for 3 creole sauce and the attitude girl said it come with 2 knowing they aren't filled up all the way. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak and I ordered the Reuben but they were out of corned beef and sauerkraut so I settled for the pastrami and Swiss cheese sandwich. I called in to try to coordinate a pick up time for my office. Mind you I work off of Senoia Road (Exit 61) in Fairburn. The first young lady a spoke with was very nice and helpful. She placed me on hold to check on one thing and Some other female picked the phone up. Let me just say RUDE AS HELL and for absolutely no reason at all. I told her the other young lady was helping me and her response was "WELL I"M HELPING YOU NOW!". Telling me I need to place my order NOW if I want it. Ummm I had already established with the other young lady when we were going to place the other. GET OUT OF CUSTOMER SERVE IF YOU LACK THE ABILITY TO SERVE. Oh yeah and guess what we will spend our hard earned federal dollars elsewhere.
