A small place, but with great service, especially the delicious food. I am vegan and I had a vegetable pizza with cauliflower crust that was spectacular. I'll be honest. Prometheus was our first choice but they were closed despite saying they were open online - that's how we ended up here. We placed our order online since we were just gonna enjoy the food at our Airbnb. When we got there you'll notice that there's only a few tables and the shop is relatively small. The customer service however was big! Everyone was super friendly and nice. The quick interaction was pleasant. It just gave me a sense that they love doing what they do. For food we got the flyin Hawaiian (yes pineapples belong in pizza !) and the gorgonzola and pear, and the fresh garden salad. Overall the food wasn't bad - pizza was fresh and tasty - didn't blow our minds but we were definitely satisfied. The salads were big and the dressings were delicious. Definitely check this place out. This is the only pizza place I've been to in town, and it's the best so far! Great friendly customer service too. read more

Hands down! VERY GOOD PIZZA! I would have posted a picture but it was so good, we scarfed it down! Every thing is tasty and unique. The staff is friendly and we enjoyed it. They even make "take and bake"! I will definitely pick up some pizzas when we return for our cabin vacation. read more

Overall, the pizza was decent. My biggest complaint was that the cook on it was a little light so it was a little limp. I suspect they don't use a pizza oven but rather a conventional oven. The toppings were good. The person who took our order was really nice and quick. I ordered the flying Hawaiian, the hot damn, and a pepperoni. The hot damn was my favorite, but I probably wouldn't order it again with bell peppers. Honestly, I don't have anything negative to say. It was just pretty decent pizza. read more

This would be a good establishment to order pizza out. Only a couple tables inside to eat. We visited this hoping for a nice sit down dinner with Pizza . We probably would've gone somewhere else. Had the owner not spoken to us personally to come in and sit down. Ambience was a little bit lacking, but again it's kinda like more of a takeout joint than a sitdown joint . Ordered 16 pizzas for a volunteer appreciation party. Great experience with EZ PZ. The owner delivered the pizza hot and fresh in warmer bags he let us keep overnight. The pizza tasted great. Nice sauce, generous ingredients and good quality crust and ingredients. Leftovers also tasted good reheated the next day. The owner gave us a non profit discount and coupons to give attendees. My husband ordered to-go pizza and salad at this place during our weekend stay in Fredericksburg. The place is small but they have a couple of tables and chairs if you choose to dine in. We ordered the hawaiian pizza and it was delicious and satisfying but it was not the best pizza I had just because I feel like it was lacking something I just can't pinpoint what it was. Surprisingly, I usually do not enjoy salads but I enjoyed the salads more than the pizza because the dressing and ingredients they had in the salad actually paired well. Got the "Meat Your Maker", but subbed prosciutto for the Italian sausage. Balance of everything is on point! Sauce seems slightly textured, but not chunky, not sweet or tart. Again, think balance. Amount of toppings is not to light, not too heavy, again, very balanced. Flavor was amazing. Heavier on cheese than I expected for how thin the crust was, but not too much that anything slid when you picked up a slice. Again, perfectly balanced. This place does "Lazy Pie" (they bake it), and you can eat on one or the two tables. Otherwise, it's take and go, or take it and bake it yourself. I like how you can do it whatever works best. Wish I had one of these in Houston where we are from, so I'll have to settle recommending to friends when they come to Fredricksburg. read more

Diner beware. In Fredericksburg some restaurants, bars, breweries have very unusual business hours that do not necessarily follow what you read on line and they change their open hours frequently. Sunday, Monday, Tuesdays and even Wednesday some places are closed so be sure to call ahead--by a week or so if you want to plan ahead. Also, it is a real challenge to get reservations for 12 (even if you split into 2 groups) . Arriving in Fredericksburg on a Sunday with most places closed, no reso and 11 people so we ordered pizza. The owner delivered it for us, got us a bag of ice on the way and said he would give the tip to his employees--excellent. I am very picky about my pizza and this pizza was delicious! We ordered the Figin Awesome and the Eclipse. Both were very good! The fig pizza flavor was balanced perfectly- the fig gave it some sweetness and the balsamic complemented it nicely. The Eclipse was basically a "supreme" pizza and everything was perfect- not too much sauce, thin crust and cooked to perfection! From the time we ordered our pizza, we were told that it would be ready in 15 minutes. We arrive after 15 minutes and the pizza was ready. The people at the counter were very nice. We did not dine there, and i honestly can't remember if they offer in-house dining. After a long day, it was so nice to just pick up pizza and bring it back to our Airbnb and relax.
