I hesitate to write this review.. when I lived in Dallas (a few years ago) Mr Gatti's was one of the best. This store has been in Okc for quite a while but this was my first visit to their buffet. Upon arrival there were five whole pizzas under the lights.. So odd, no pizza was even warm. It reminded me exactly as if one ordered a pizza at home, then left the remaining slices on the coffee table and then having a slice for breakfast. Room temperature and fairly tasteless, Im sorry to say. The staff was courteous but, I didnt feel the need to point out the obvious, as I suspected it was out of their control. My family came here based on a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint. We usually do pizza buffets at Cici's or Incredible Pizza Company, but we're willing to try out this location based on the Yelp reviews. We visited during lunch on a weekday and did not have to wait in line to pay for our party. The transaction is made at the beginning as soon as you enter the restaurant. They have daily deals, so check out their website or the menu for the one that works best for you. The food was fresh and replenished frequently. They even took special orders for pizzas and brought a few of the slices to your table. The salad bar was fresh and clean as was their pasta and drink stations. Their food quality is better than Cici's. The food selection is about the same, but they do not have any soup selections like Cici's. Their prices are comparable and their service was great. The employees are cross trained and many from the front counter or kitchen are able to help you in the arcade. The overall restaurant was surprisingly quiet and mellow, which is the exact opposite of Incredible Pizza Company and Chuck E. Cheese. We enjoyed having lunch in the movie theater because they were playing Kung Fu Panda, which was popular with our kids. The game room was also clean and spacious. There are a decent amount of games here, but not enough to spend more than 30 minutes playing. Booked a birthday party here. Nothing was setup, paid for a package that included balloons and table cloths. None of that was ready, manager had no idea we were coming. No food was available anywhere. Only two pizzas were out. Staff seemed unprepared for an event. Embarrassed to host our party here where there was no food and nothing was ready for us. I wasn't sure what to expect with Mr gattis but I was surprised and I rather liked it. It reminded me of an old school pizza polar like it claims. I remember being a kid and The crystals pizza parlour was one of the super cool places. It had a up and downstairs arcade. A movie room that would play cartoon and 3 stooges a lot. You could sit in there eat pizza with your family or friends. I even remember having one of first dates at crystals. Me gattis is almost the same thing. Arcade theater and all you can eat pizza. While gattis doesn't have an upstairs and downstairs arcade they do have a nice arcade as is. If your young at heart or just young try Mr gattis I think you will like it read more

Small game room has over priced games and--as with almost all arcades--you'll spend over $20 to get a dollar value prize. Theater room is setup to look like there's a projector, but it's actually six big TVs, so there are black lines all across the picture. Sound quality is poor in there, as well. We had other plans, but they fell through and we ended up here. Very pleasantly surprised! We managed to make it between the lunch and dinner rush so the place was relatively empty, all things considered. The staff was exceptionally friendly! Boy this one's tough to rate. On a family fun level it's a five, food wise not so much. We hadn't been to Mr Gatti's since the 1970s and were eager to see what the pizza was like now. Multiple party rooms, plus an arcade were occupied with everyone having a lot of fun. That kept the noise level way down in the main dinning area. There was at least 16 or more pizzas in the buffet, a salad bar with plenty to choose from, desserts. You'd think with a selection that large it would be easy to find something tasty. We couldn't find a single piece of pizza that more than just so so. The salad bar was fine but nothing to write home about. The service was extremely good. You couldn't hardly finish a plate without a staff member asking if they could take the empty one away. As far as value you couldn't beat all you can eat for seniors at $9.99. If the pizza were better we would have ranked Mr Gatti's much higher. We would love to bring our grand kids here for fun & games. read more

My first experience with this pizza joint in over 30 years was positive without any negatives. A completely remodeled restaurant in a strip mall at Britton Road and May Ave in NW OKC looks the part in a wonderfully nice way. The parking lot is extensive and the place is extremely clean, no matter that it has been opened for just a short time. The menu prices for the buffet that I ordered are reasonable and the all-you-can eat is worth a try. I did not order any specific pizza to take home but was asked when I ordered if I wanted any specific pizza made for my choice. I did and it was. And it was very good. Let us get specific. I went the the joint at 3:00 PM an off time for many buffets. To my surprise, there were a lot more eaters in the place than I had expected. The fresh salad bar and all the fixing were just as they needed to be. Fresh and tasty. The homemade salad dressing had "dates" on the bottles, letting me know when they had been mixed for the buffet. They had today's date on them and yes, they were excellent and totally fresh for day. The bar (pictures) was perfect with all of the choices. My pizza was much better than expected and for anyone to say that the pizza was on the cheap side must not know pizza for the masses. Yes, these pizzas are not the high end costly ones you can get a high end costly pizza joints. This is not for those that need more than pizza. Pizza is pizza and you don't need to spend thirty dollars for a single topping pizza that some clip joints have the uneducated pay. As I am not a child nor need game play for my experience, I did not play the machines that would be nice for the little folks. Two large rooms for parties are noted. There were 22 employees on duty at 3:00 PM and they were all in a very good mood to service the customers. Impressed. I will be back and will take advantage of the senior citizen specials. Hobby Lobby and Chick-fil-A have collaborated to create a Cici's pizza that doesn't suck. Complete with an arcade, party rooms, movie room(playing cartoons) and desert pizza. This place is super nice. You're greeted by homeschooled Christian teenagers of various ethnic backgrounds. The managers got the dapper Dan hair with Jimmy Swaggart evangelical preacher enthusiasm. Assistant manager is his wife who obviously sells Mary Kay and only works part time so she can home school Braxton and Charity. Pizza tastes like the southern Baptist convention blessed it before and after it was cooked. This place makes you accept your obesity and want to attend a church small group at the same time. I grew up with Mr. Gatties back in Texas and it was such a blessing to find one here in OKC! I was here a few weeks ago (see my review on Google) and decided to go back. The quality of the food that was both on the buffet and the pizza I special ordered (you can do that here) exceeded expectations as well as the salad bar and the amazing aoplie pizza for dessert! When I came the first time a few weeks ago, drinks were included with the buffet which I thought was amazing and I was telling everyone I could. But now, for whatever reason, they started charging $1.99 for drinks as of 2 weeks ago. Very disappointed with that since it now brings them down closer to all the ordinary pizza buffets. My family and I were driving by and decided to check out Mr. Gatti's Pizza. We had a great time! This is one of the cleanest establishments I've ever been to. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. When arrived the pizza was fresh out of the oven, the salad bar was stocked and well kept. An employee by the name Grace, who went out very and beyond by re-starting a movie in the theatre area where we ate, she welcomed us, showed us around and made our experience even better. My little one had a blast playing in the arcade area. We live 30+ minutes away, but we will make sure to come back soon! read more
