Mr.Gyro is the the worst fast casual restaurant experience I have ever had. Falafels were dry and hard. Way to much cumin. The dolmas were out of a jar. The fried zucchini were basically fried bread crumbs with pizza sauce. The spanakopita was soggy and just gross. The moussaka seemed old and stale. The roasted potatoes were bland and also old. The roasted veggies were swimming in some soupy stuff and were mooshy. The young lady at the register was rude. I asked her what kind of cookies were out on display. She didn't know the name. I asked what do they taste like and she didn't know. I asked what are they made with and she said just a cookie with sugar and flour. So.. I said ok. Thanks. They had someone on a ladder in the middle of the seating area installing a ceiling fan. the windows were dirty. everything looked messy and dirty completely unattended to. No employees wearing masks while handling food or anything else. No hand sanitizer in sight. In a nutshell my family and I had a bite or two of our order and threw away the rest. My advise. Friendly staff, good food quickly prepared, clean environs (haven't used the restroom though!). A good choice when you are hankering for something a little different. Staff member recommended the onion rings - I may ask that girl to marry me because of that recommendation. I would smack them out of a baby's hands if that was the only way to get some. I started going there when Covid came around. Food was ok. Pita bread always had a funny smell so I usually never ate it. This review is about the lack of "service and care and..not sure what else" which includes lack of wanting to please your customer. Willingness to make them feel good about ordering your food and help their business grow..you would think right? Not in this case. They have 2 kinds of chicken. One shaved and one made to order. I ordered a greek salad with chicken which I normally do on the phone while in their parking lot. 3 minutes after hanging up I noticed that she never asked me what kind of chicken and I forgot to specify. I went inside and told her I wanted the one made to order and she said it would take 20 minutes. I said, ok..I'll wait... she said (with an attitude) you should've told me. I told her that she never asked and I noticed so I came in to clarify and she just wouldn't stop. She said, next time, tell me. I said, next time ask me and she said, I don't have to ask you anything. So....... you would think they want my business right? No. Told her to cancel my order and she said "OK" and turned around. With as many restaurants (much better than them and cleaner) who need my business, I will never go back to this dirty dive. Look around and you will not want to eat there. Third time here was not a charm... not that the se on was anything to rave about. The quality appears to be going down. Restaurant is unkempt, even when not busy. Bathroom was very dirty, which leads me.to believe the kitchen is also. Food was very salty and while I must say portions are good sized, they are expensive and that can't make up for the other negatives. A young staff person was attempting to train a new younger hire...who was so busy texting on her phone and goofing around, i can't imagine she retained anything, not to mention her non-professional manner of dress... My husband, three kids and I shared the appetizer of spreads (ample quantity with lots of warm pita bread), Greek salad (standard, but solid), lamb gyro (so much meat!) and pastitsio with roasted veggies and Greek fries. We started out as fans of the Mr. Gyros in Palm Beach Gardens. We enjoy coming here about once every two weeks. I love their chicken gyro- never greasy and my husband gets the beef & lamb gyro. The food is great quality and our favorite is the dip sampler where you can pick from a few choices. My struggle is the menu says served with plenty of pita. "Plenty" isn't how I'd describe it and that would be my only feedback. The amount of pita provided in that sampler appetizer should come with double the pita that it is currently served with. Fast and convenient but the food was subpar. I went at lunch time and ordered their chicken souvlaki pita with a side of rice. The pita itself wasn't bad. They don't give much lettuce, tomatoes and onions. The chicken was dry and not the traditional grilled cubes. Tasted more like it was cooked on a flat griddle, though they gave a good portion. We get their chicken salad a few times a month and its HUGE and delicious. Two people can easily split one salad, or you can get 2 meals out of it for one person. Staff is always friendly, and order ahead is always ready on time. Easily our favorite easy take out spot. read more

Just ate at the Jupiter location and wow let me tell you I'm not the one to complain but it was not good. I don't know where to start. How much salt is needed? There was enough salt to kill someone. Not only on the fries but in that "spicy feta spread" oh and whoever made that or came up with that recipe should never be allowed in the kitchen again. The best part was the bread. The tomatoes that were on the sandwich should have been tossed 4 days ago along with onions and pail Pepperoncini. Eating behind the line, whoever put the food in the window was plain rude. Not impressed. I ordered dolmeh, spanakopita, the sampler platter of 4 sauces and pita bread, falafel, a lamb gyro, and the green beans to go for a family dinner. The gyro was standard - nothing special but not bad, and the falafel was tasty. The green beans were really yummy. BUT the phyllo dough on the spanakopita was soggy and soft, the dolmehs were slimy, and all the pita tasted three times warmed over. I was especially disappointed with the sampler platter. There was no where near enough pita to dip for a large group of people, and it was stale anyway. The Melitzanosalatai (eggplant dip) tasted like it had been in the fridge for a really long time. I ended up dumping the whole tray after a few people dipped and did not go back for seconds. I will not be going back. Really bummed because I love Mediterranean food. read more

This place is terrible! AWFUL. The Indiantown location closes literally at 8:15pm!? The doors locked, lights off, grill off, chairs stacked, employees hiding- even though they are supposed to be open until 9pm according to their website and door.It has happened to me at least 5 or 6 times- Ive stopped trying- they have lost my business- if you want good greek food go to Souvlaki Fast- they actually want your business and are open the hours they advertise. Food is delicious,... when they aren't out of things or screwing up the orders. The last time I visited for I had to wait 45 minutes for them to cook up the potatoes they were out of only to get home with my food to discover they got the order wrong. Of course, I called and let them know for which they found it perfectly acceptable that I drive 10miles round trip across town to get the corrrect order without any compensations for THEIR MISTAKES. It would have been a nice gesture to offer a coupon or free dessert for the total convenience, but they seem not to notice they are burning bridges with their customers. I do not ever eat in the restaurant as the smell of fabuloso (a cheap commercial cleaner) they clean the floors with does not mix well with dining. read more
