Al was awesome! He came highly recommended by our realtor and we are sure happy we found him. We had a prior inspector that was terrible so we reached out to Al to come inspect, he made himself available right away to help us out! He was super detailed and really took his time to inspect the entire house. After he finished he walked us around and explained all the issues and which ones absolutely needed to be fixed for safety. He also recommended vendors/contractors that could help with the items that were found. He was very knowledgeable about everything and really helped us out by finding things before we moved in! A hole was found under the sink, which would have been a nightmare. He also found a leaking sink! It was a fully redone house and we were skeptical if we needed an inspection at first but after we had one couldn't have been happier! There were so many items that needed to be fixed! Al did a terrific job inspecting a condo for me. He is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and took lots of photos which are very helpful because I'm a visual person. And his descriptions of what doesn't meet current building codes will be very helpful if I end up buying the condo and the seller offers me a reduced price to pay for some of the repairs. I'll know exactly how something needs to be fixed, so the licensed expert I hire knows exactly what's needed. And he's proactive about items he has concerns about, especially when the plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems need building code upgrades, you want someone who's looking out for your best interests. Al did a great job on my home inspection. He found a few high ticket items that I really need to negotiate on my home. He checked all the windows and doors. He even went thru all the electrical and plumbing. He found electrical safety issues and even a huge issue with the shower. My only suggestion for improvement would be to incorporate VIDEO into the report. For my shower issue, it is something that truly needs to see VIDEO because it has to do with movement and loose pieces. A photo does nothing for this particular issue. That aside, Al did a great job and I'd highly recommend him to others in the future. The report was very easy to read and follow. read more

Al Silva is the best inspector money can buy! He is responsible, extremely thorough, and gets your report back on time. He is always available to answer any questions you may have. He even offers a free welcome tour of your new home, where he comes out after you move in and shows you where your important features are located in your home such as gas and water shut offs, electrical panels, etc. and he even explains important maintenance on items such as your heating system, water heaters, filters, etc. I would give him 10 stars if it was available. First Class Inspection!! Exceeded all inspections that I have attended over the years as a Realtor.
